Filipinos (and other Asian countries) will always have a disadvantage with partner stunts. The disparity in size between men and women just isnt big enough. Watch cheerdance in the Philippines where the lack of size disparity makes for a better visual spectacle.
Thailand already won in the same category so NO your point is not true. The gap is in western countries like USA gymnastics is big for children growing up unlike a 3rd world country where sports is basically a luxury and not a need for childhood. They were basically already equipped with our collegiate level tumbling skills before they even enter college so of course there’s a huge gap in partner stunts but it’s not the physical size
Because our country's cheerleading only excels in Pyramids then tumbling passes next. We are waaaaaaay behind on partner stunts. But placing 10th world wide is no small feat. Specially for a first timer in this division.
What we lack is creative mounting consistency and clean execution.. we all know that in our local competition basta magawa ok na. Unlike in US they practice precised and clean execution. Coz every bobble is a deduction...
