In today's episode of Tripura travel, I have come to South Tripura to visit one of Tripura best tourist places called Dumboor Lake. Dumboor Lake Tripura is a charming water body located in Gandacherra Sub Division 120 Km. away from Agartala. The look of the lake is like tabour shaped small drum, “Dumboor” of Lord Shiva from which the name “Dumboor” originates. A massive and breathtaking water body of 41 sq.km. with an unending spell of luxuriant green vegetation all around stands majestic for her exceedingly charming beauty and 48 islands in the midst of the lake. Migratory birds and water sports facilities are additional attractions. Because of this reason people in Tripura name it as a "Mini Ocean".
Not just because Dumboor Lake is a famous tourist attractions in Tripura, I wanted to experience the Simple Life of the Tribals of Tripura state. The word dumboor is a bengalitized word and dumboor comes from damro of Shiv is a myth . Dumboor original pronunciation is Dongor which is a Tripuri word and it means the depth created being dug by the action of falling of water(waterfall)

Halam- kuki -mizo is the Second largest language speaks amongs indigenous ..not mog and chakma

@@BlackPanther-gm4ym yeah absolutely you're right my bro if you take only one particular tribe amongs kuki - chin ...but if we together all those who belongs to same ethnic or community then it will be 2nd largest language speaking community among the Indigenous tribes .. after kokborok . ...mizo , kuki, Darlong, saimar, ranglong, Molsom, hrangkhawl, kaipeng, bongcher, halam,Rokhum, betu, Karbong, chorei, thangachep, sakachep, etc our language is same but we are known different tribes group ....We can communicate each other in our tongue like kokborok. In kokborok there are many tribes including debbarma , jamatia, reang, murasing, koloi, Tripura, rupini, uchoi etc ....chakma speaking is only 71k according to 2011 census report . ...some of them those who are known as non kuki- chin language group also can speaks ...
I am from Tripura state .. Your vlogs are great. There are more places in Tripura that you can visit or see ... such as Nirmahal, Chabimura, and other parks you shouldn't miss.

Tripura became a sanskritised version of Tipperah when Tripura join the Union of India in 15 Oct 1949
It is still Know as Tipperah in many historical books 🙏
