This is, hands down, Leto’s best vocal performance since Alibi. The closest comparison to those soaring high notes is Bono, but Leto’s rasp adds so much more humanity to his delivery.

One of the best songs on their last album. Every time when I feel upset or angry this song manages to calm me down again and give me a fuzzy, relaxed feeling... 🥰🥰🥰🥰 Must be something in Jared's voice that touches me somewhere in my heart and soul.
Earlier this year my cousin (who was a huge 30stm fan like I am) passed away very suddenly. He and I had been planning to go to Camp Mars together this September - he’d always wanted to go and see Malibu and see Thirty Seconds to Mars in concert. This was by far his favorite song that they have done thus far. When we went camping in the mountains by Malibu earlier this year, shortly after he passed, we spread his ashes to this song, right at the first “Into the great wide open / across a land of blood and dreams.” This song has so much meaning to my entire family now, and I can’t thank Thirty Seconds to Mars enough for the strength that it gives us every time we hear it. I know that in the specific turn of events, Jared and Shannon and Tomo had no hand, but without their music my life just wouldn’t be the same.

Okay...this song....I attended the concert in Pelham, AL at the Amphitheater. During this song, Jared asked everyone to get out their phones. there was NO LIGHTS on in the amphitheater. When everyone turned on their flashlights it was the MOST BEAUTIFUL THING I have ever seen. Probably my favorite part of the whole show. It was truly the best show I've been to in a VERY long time.

This one and Rider are probably my favourite songs on the album. This one reminds me of "Chariots of Fire" a bit, they both have this monumental energy about them. Rider gives me Balde Runner feels. Bet there is an explanation for that.
