This is why Taker is the best wrestler ever. He has a very strong set of abilities in the ring, and the greatest standout gimmick ever conceived AND he's a very laid back kind of guy, backstage. He is the epitome of what a wrestler should strive to be.

My dad worked with The Undertaker back in 1999 and he mentioned that he had this kind of personality for all people he worked with off camera. I swear to God, I wish I was my age now all those years ago, then I could've met him.

It always feels good to see someone that you admire as much as the Undertaker show his caring side for the fans and kids that look up to him. It always touches me every time I see a superstar take time out to give these kids wishes.
He really is a great guy
He's probably one of, if not the most unanimously respected pro wrestler in the history of the WWE. All the young guys who've come through since the mid 90s even through to today all look up to him and even in the early 90s when he'd only been there a couple of years, he was the judge of wrestler's court, a backstage locker room thing the wrestlers used to do among themselves to settle disputes. He hardly ever does shoot interviews and doesn't talk shit about other guys. He's a class act.

I love this guy...I do not even watch wrestling anymore because the nostalgia is near dead but every year now as a 32 Year Old I break out the cash ONLY to buy the Wrestlemania and watch Undertaker and him defend his streak because the 12 year old in me misses the simpler times.
I just hope when the Undertaker takes his exit off the cinematic stage it is in the old regalia that brought him here. Greatest entrance in history.
Not a wrestler in the entertainment industry has a negative word to say about him and that should speak volumes. I desire them to spend the last year leading up to his retirement giving him the proper push necessary to solidify his exit and these writers need to get it correct.
It is a show but as scripted as any dramatic series is we can still enjoy can we not?
I miss the Superstar era also John. When a wrestler would do a promo in front of his logo and had his own colors and whatnot. Hardcore stuff is intense, but I just miss the superhero-like characters of the superstar era (of which Undertaker was of course a part).

You can tell he's a dad. I don't watch wrestling but I was obsessed when I was a kid in the 90s, he was one of my favourites. Wrestlers are some of the hardest working people in entertainment and it's a tough life a lot of the time. What a great guy.
You rarely see Undertaker break character, and what a nice thing he did, he really cares about the fans, he will always be a legend.
From what I've heard (and seen a couple of times), Taker is a real class act. I really do like the fact that he keeps himself out of the limelight and has a real mindset for business. But, the fact that he did this for this girl is awesome. Hats off to this man. All-time great and a great human being.

Undertaker aka mark Callaway (I think) is a great guy. I remember watching raw or Smackdown one night years ago when a fan ran into the ring during one of his matches and unlike most superstars, he didn't get angry and attack the fan instead he stood there prepared to do anything if the fan attacked him (he didnt) and then the refs and security guards came and restrained him. Just one of the many reasons why he's awesome!!!!!
I love these. But wish they could do them without all of the cameras and people around. Why not be able to do the Make a wish without all of that stuff. If I wanted to meet one of these guys. i would want it to be as special as it can. Meaning without the cameras and people there. Only cameras can be from the family. Maybe just one camera.

Alot of the make a wish things are off camera. The few that are seen families are asked they're permission to record and publicise

It's a good organization, but I think, at least I hope, they were saying it must be tough to know the kids are going to die.

He is the most selfless man in Wrestling, ever. He cares so much about this business that he is willing to go out every Wrestlemania (in the past 10-15 years) and put someone over. I hear about how his badass character is a 180 to who is in in real life and it shows. I hope he has a deeper role backstage when his in-ring career is over.
Undertaker is a stand up guy. few guys in the business are as well respected by fans AND fellow wrestlers like he is.
Wrestlers and Hockey Players are by far some of the most wholesome and genuinely nice people you’ll ever meet.
Mr. Calaway is such an awesome guy. He stands for so much that is right, and is always supporting kids, and disabled folks, and our military, police/firefighters. This is a guy that I am so happy to see get the success that he has justifiably earned.....apart from being one of the greatest in-ring performers as well.
This what being a WWE Superstar is about...it’s not just about your work inside the ring, it’s outside the ring (make-a-wish kids) how you treat fans, and the Undertaker did it here and it felt genuine.
He didn't have to do that but that was amazing. It's Inspiring when athletes use their platform to do things like this. Those kids deserve something like that to help them get through what they are going through. They will remember that forever.
