    I am 22 years old, lost my dad about half a year ago and I am going to receive some money soon. Would it be smart to grow my money in stocks for a few years while I am in college and then invest in rental properties afterwards, or should I go for real estate investing first?

      I would advise the counsel of a seasoned financial pro. It may seem expensive, but as the old saying goes - "you get what you pay for" "Expert solutions require Expert providers" - my mantra

      Agreed, investing with the help of an advisor set me up for life. Retired with about $1.6m in stock portfolio only. I worked hard everyday as a teacher for 32 years, and my salary was over 100k annually. Supplementing my income with stocks and alternative investments helped me achieve early retirement.

      @@beautifulpeoplealways I've worked in real estate for over 25 years and have neglected a major stock portfolio. This served me well when I was flipping and renting houses, however I need a different plan now.. mind if I look up the professional guiding you please?

      Katherine Nance Dietz is the licensed advisor I use. Just research the name. You’d find necessary details to work with and set up an appointment.

    Thanks for the update and keep doing what you do. My journey in the current market has taught me a lot of lessons, at the top of that list is that it never pays to live above one's means. I have managed to grow a nest egg of around $600k to a decent 7 figures in the space of a few months. Sad to say but a lot of us have poor money management skills. My 2 cents -get an advisor to keep you accountable and aid you make better decisions, Aria Cookings has been helping me a lot, all through my journey. I find it better to pay a little bit more for peace of mind than worry about money or market trends and still get >burned.

      The key to financial stability is having the right investment suggestions for a diverse portfolio. Many investment failures and losses happen when you invest without proper guidance.

    Mike was real relatable and realistic in his approach. Good to see a normal on the ground that doesn't own 100+ properties that most people cant relate to. If it works in their favor to get another short term rental, I think that would be golden

    Instead of purchasing many properties with little equity, I purchased 4 LTR and 1 STR and paid off the mortgages. These will fund the bulk of my retirement.

    In these uncertain times, it's more important than ever to have a solid understanding of how to manage your finances, invest wisely and navigate economic downturns. But my primary concern is how to grow my reserve of $240k which has been sitting duck since forever with zero to no gains, sure I'm all in on the long term game, but with my savings are lying waste to inflation and my portfolio losing gains everyday, I need a remedy.

      If you need advice, consider speaking with a financial advisor. Don't get me wrong, you can do it on your own, but financial advisors have a lot more knowledge and expertise in this area.

    Recently bought some recommended stocks and now they are just penny stocks. There seems to be more negative portfolios in 2024 with the markets tumbling, soaring inflation, and banks going out of business. My concern is how can the rapid interest-rate hike be of favor to a value investor, or is it better avoiding stocks for a while?

    • @AmandaRenee-z8h
      @AmandaRenee-z8h วันที่ผ่านมา

      Simply "buy and hold". It will be worthwhile in the long run. Although higher interest rates typically translate into lower stock prices, investors should be wary of the bull run. To reach your growth objectives and prevent mistakes, it's best to speak with an experienced adviser.

    • @SamuelTimothy-ey9tr
      @SamuelTimothy-ey9tr วันที่ผ่านมา

      Very true, you can be passively involved in the markets and still amass wealth-gains using an investment advisor. I first dabbled in stocks late 2019, just before the pandemic, and that same year gained over 150% with no prior investing experience, basically all I was doing was following directions of my advisor. We are working on a retirement ballpark of $3m and I’m certain my goal isn’t farfetched after subsequent investments and tremendous returns so far.

    • @SaraBenjamin-i4u

      This is quite remarkable! Would you kindly provide your advisor's details? My portfolio is currently experiencing severe retrogression, thus I must decide whether to sell some of my holdings or hang onto them. I am in desperate need of asset allocation.

    • @theMastrgamr

      It does sound wild. To be fair, middle class depends on your Cost of Living (COL) area. Idaho in general is pretty low-COL if I'm not mistaken, and making Intel money for 10+ years in a low COL area he was definitely piling up $$$
