Well it’s much more diverse than that. They only showed the food that it’s cooked in the mountains, but there’s also the coast and the jungle in Peru. After Europe invaded us all our food change to a sort of mix between Europe food and Andean food . Then a lot of African slaves were taken to Peru so they just threw African style in the mix. Finally, I think bcs of world war 2, a LOT of refugees of japan stayed in Perú and all of our cuisine changed again. *Long story short our cuisine is basically a mix of Andean, European, African and Asian style of cooking*
