The Emadd2 really reminds me of the 1977 Hobbit cartoon. Not sure if that particular voicing was used anywhere, but it definitely has that vibe. "Far over the Misty Mountains cold..."
Open "C" tuning? What in the heck would a lesson like this have to do with playing in open "C" tuning? I REALLY don't understand your comment. Please explain.

Do you mean played off of the open "C" chord (at 1st fret)? I'm lost on what you mean here??
