    I realize it's been awhile since we lost Ms. Phyllis, but I still think of her very often and still watch her numerous videos. I miss her voice, which was soooo calming and soothing to the ear. It's like I lost a loved one in my own family even though we never met. I know other people out there, feel the same love for her, as I still feel. If her family still see's her videos, I just want you to know she will NEVER be forgotten. She was somehow, in my life everyday, for year's. I miss her so much. God Bless to all of her family members and friends. BE SAFE....

    You are so missed Sister Phyllis, until we meet again praising, singing, rejoicing, dancing, and free of pain, sorrow, stress, no more crying, only Love and eternal life. Going to try this casserole, I was going to get a Air Fryer and try your recipes as well, but can't seem to save up the money.
    Thank you Phyllis for all your amazing utube channel home cooking. Yummy

      Elise Calbazana Sara doesn't show herself on camera anymore and that makes me sad for her. I think it's due to a bunch of horrible people leaving horrible comments for her. Its terrible because she's so sweet and gives off the vibe of a friend you'd like to have.
      Now all you see is her arm and hand and hear her voice. Her husband seems like a great guy too.

    • @itiswhatitis5784
      @itiswhatitis5784 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I actually hadn’t noticed until you said that her face wasn’t in her videos anymore. Sad how cruel human beings are. She has such a kind and welcoming face and sweet as pie.

    • @beautifulloser75
      @beautifulloser75 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Elise Calbazana she's not given the reason but that's the conclusion I came to. It's a stark difference from her usual videos. She used to have her comments disabled but when she turned it back on she stopped showing herself on camera. Hate that for her.

    My husband and I make this about once every two months. We make it exactly like this, but spread a can of cream of chicken soup over the tots. It tends to add a bit more flavor to the tots. You can also do this with mashed potatoes if you don't have tots on hand. Yummy - now you've got me craving it!

    Looks so yummy! Never tried the peppers before. I'm going to do that tonight! I've used corn, and green beans, and I have liked it that way. One thing I do y'all might like is I stir about 1/3-1/2 the cheese into the meat mixture, and put the rest on top. Super yummy.

    I have made many different versions of this. I have used ground turkey, ground lamb, bulk italian sausage and different cheeses too. Monterey jack, mozzarella, munster but the sharp cheddar is my favorite. I almost always use fresh garlic when I sauté the onions. A wonderful meal especially on a cold night! Thank you Phyllis for all of your videos!

I told him that Sara sounds to me like she's from WV and then I found out she is and is very very near to me.

    I make a version of this. I call it "tater tot pizza." Everything is same as yours except on top of meat i spoon on pizza sauce or marinera or pasta sauce, pepperoni across entire casserole, cheese, then tots on top. I sometimes use a variety of cheese for flavors. Sometimes i use sasuage and grnd beef or grnd turkey or chicken, or one or other. MY FAM LOVES IT! I make it in bulk and freeze for meal preps and leftovers. It one of our favorites. I sometimes add mushrooms, onion, diced tomato, any pizza type topping and i put it under the cheese and tots.

    Casserole looks good! Will be trying it soon. Also, I love the Tajin spice on fruit. I have been salting my watermelon and cantelope since little (like my daddy). I heard Rick Bayles (famous chef specializing in Mexican food) talking about a street food that consists of cut pieces of fruit and jicama cut into “sticks” and then drizzled with lime juice and a sprinkle of chili powder. That was good but when I found the Tajin in the store it was even better! Really good on all kinds of melon, pineapple, apple and pears.

    I just posted a video last week of my family's Tatortot casserole recipe! Ours is a bit different from any other recipe I have seen. This one looks very delicious, probably the more 'traditional' one most people are used to, I will have to try it also. Thank you for sharing Sara's information, I am heading over to check out her channel next.

    Wow Phyllis...this sure brings back memory’s! I used to make this all the time in the 80’s when my kids were young....the recipe I had called for crispy canned onions added to the cream of mushroom soup! My family loved it...it was so tasty!! Thanks for the video 💕😍❤️

    Looks yummy! We make this as well except without green pepper. We don't care for the green. Just the yellow, red & orange. We also make a version with Sweet Baby Ray;s Honey BBQ sauce in the ground beef along with vidalia onion. My husband does that & puts it between crescent roll dough with cheese like a hot pocket. That's really good. Comfort food.

      Sounds good using the crescent rolls.

    I use cream of celery with a Tablespoon of mushroom seasoning and some ground black pepper but other than that I make it just like you do. I'm going to try the tajin seasoning on fruit. I never of thought of trying it that way. I do use that spice when I make Mexican street corn and it's really good ! 🤗
