Ryan I am a retired nurse. I worked almost fifty years with labor and delivery, delivering babies. I don't want you to think I'm being critical.when you showed Hugo in the bed there is a rope like item that is tied inside the bed. Please remove before he gets his head stuck in it and chokes. It's a common way children are hurt or worse. If it's for essential equipment maybe tie it under the bed somehow?? It's always best to have nothing in the bed. Kids get into all kinds of situations. ❤ No personal affront meant. Good video. Thanks. Those pigs are loud. Lolol
@@lifeinruralthailand I am just concerned is all. Thanks for listening to my advice. My sister's baby strangled on a baby monitor cord that was on a dresser near the bed. She was ten months old. Kids get into so much, so fast. ❤️
Thanks for another fantastic vlog Otis is a clever boy and Hugo is getting big the bike is a great way for Damo to get around we need more bikes and less cars for local means of getting around
I LOVE the life you guys are living, in all it's ways. A simple life, as free as possible, yet structured enough in certain ways. The bike with carriage is perfect, I want one 😊
Ryan, I have been watching your vlogs since you first moved to rural Thailand and I applaud you and Mo for what you have established as well as two wonderful children, everything is just magnificent. Also, it is always nice to see Mo smiling all the time, I have never once seen Mo miserable. Love the chickens. Have a great day.
Tip for the day.. Find a suitable lenght of timber laying around the yard. Drill 6 holes in it.. And use 6 plastic tye strips to hold it down tocreate a more comfortable seat in Damos new Red Rocket.... Love the vid
i would add more metal railing a little higher on the bike so transport is less vulnerable or a few higher wooden slats maybe painted cuz the humidity and rain ... insulate it slightly idk i want you all safe
Another great video what a excellent way to travel around the countryside and haul materials and groceries from the markets. Damo is very good at driving it around it builds confidence for her and she feels independent. The children love riding along as well. Enjoy your weekend on the farm and take care ❤️
Great video again. I went on my e-bike down the road this morning in Phnom Penh this morning to get my avocados for breakfast because I didn't have any. These were to go with my natural yogurt and Chia seeds. Nice and healthy but in these times why do I bother?
Hi Ryan, a friend of mine from UK is married to a Thai man. As I understand it, she gets her annual Non Immigrant O Visa (marriage) in the usual way, but there is no need for her or her husband to prove finances. Maybe the Laos lady and her man are not legally married, or they don't have 1900 baht. Another interesting vlog. Very strange about that Silkie, I have never seen that before. Perhaps she doesn't like the feel of the tiles on her feet. Lovely to see you all enjoying the chariot! God bless the whole family. 😀❤🙏 I've just had an after thought Ryan. I remember, when I was studying Agriculture and had to castrate piglets, back in the day, ( no anaesthetic) a quick cut with a razor blade, pull the testicles out and then dust the wound with antiseptic powder, the sows used to go berserk. Apparently, an old farmers trick was to put coke, a common fuel of the day, inside your wellies and then if the pig bit you, they would soon stop, thinking that the coke was in fact bone! Fortunately, I never had to put it to the test!
What a special driver who is Demo driving you & son to enjoy your day by enjoying tasting coffee after you're done with petrol your car before you're going to take drinks for your breakfast & another taste for your husband and son to make their bodies more comfortable for their strength, healthy and wealthy...
I yearn for this.... Myself and Thai wife had a small house in rural Sisaket 10 years ago and I loved it, but we had our first child and $ were becoming harder to come by, so we moved back to Aus, but all I ever wanted was the simple life. Make decent money now but cost of living just squeezes you dry. Now I just think about how we can get back over there... :) am thinking of how I can pretend to be in AU whilst I do my WFH job secretly (wouldn't technically be legal...) in Thailand .
Great episode. Love the joy in the faces when driving the hauler bike. I've driven them. It can get sketchy if the weight isn't distributed correctly. Thanks....Much fun.
Ryan . Check baby cot the tie backs to the baby blanket or something look a little dangerous for baby getting his neck caught. Loving your feed back on your family life.
Ryan and Damo, thanks for another excellent peek into your lives. You have really dialed in all of the variables for your channel. And I must say you pick the music well. Many channels have good content that can be spoiled by that super generic vlog music. I can’t describe it but it sounds generic. Anyway, you guys do it just right.
Brilliant vlog again Ryan and family. Great cinematography on the motorbike sidecar traveling. Fending off the angry pig to give the piglets their shots looks a bit dangerous, but we all love some danger, or at least I did back in the day. Kung fu fighting pigs with bamboo poles could be a local sport .555 An indoor chicken I have never seen! She seems content. Peace and Love y'all PS Overalls are great for work and comfort. Had overalls once in my hippy years...Wish I had a pair now PSS I cannot walk in rubber boots anymore, though did for years. Believe you wear them partially for snake bite protection which is good.
Another good video. I'm a bit concerned about the kids riding in the sidecar without any restraint. If you were to brake violently they might be thrown out. I'm sure you could fix some straps to hold them in. I notice Domo trimming the bushes using a bow saw. One of the garden tools I've used most in Thailand is a branch lopper, with two foot handles. Why not treat her. Or tell me to mind my own business.😀
I initially thought about restraints in the sidecar ...yet in the countryside seems unlikely and they travel relatively slow. Also kids need to learn and get some scrapes in life IMO. Peace ✌️
Didn't you ever ride in fairground bumper cars? Even at 5mph, if your bonz hits the ground it does a lot of damage. There are enough motorcyclists not around now who never learnt that lesson. A dog running across the road when Damo, or you are driving?? Enough said.

What a good life you two have built ! Mo is such a jewel. 🙏💕🌷
Someone should organise a little outside cinema in the village. Probably wouldn't cost much to set up either
I have thoguht about it but main issue at night is mosquitos, for the kids i bought them a widescreen for the wooden house :)
You could glue the flurry microphone cover on chickens head and it look like one of those fancy chickens @ 1509 baht.. 555
🤣
Good idea 😁 and a money saver!
Excellent content guys exactly what we want to see❤ Mat making is fascinating.

Made me laugh till I nearly peed my pants when you taunted Otis with the turkey. ''Go on, give it a kiss.'' The look on his face was priceless.

If the Lao lady is married to a Thai male I’ve read it’s easy ish to get citizenship. Not the same for Farang Male married to Thai wife
I think it’s still quite tricky for her for some reason or I expect she may have done it 🙏🙏
