How to Overcome Fear in Relationships

  • Relationships can be hard. We tend to be in charge of most of the things we do in our lives. But when it comes to relationship, our 100% control drops to 50%. But while relationships can be scary and messy, they also have the opportunity to be our greatest force for growth and healing.
There are many lessons in relationships. We must learn to give up that false sense of control. We let go of our safety net and we take a plunge into the great unknown. There may be scars from past relationships, but in this TH-cam I share are a few simple ways we can overcome fear and trauma, and create meaningful relationships that enrich us personally and spiritually.

If there’s no fear that we won’t survive without the thing we’re worried we’re going to lose then it’s really easy to manage but if you’re afraid you’re gonna lose your home and you know you can’t hold your own on the streets anymore; it’s hard not to be terrified. And when horrific things start happening to you from the time you’re a baby it’s really hard to trust the goodness of the universe but I’m completely willing to. I hope some good person sees this and invites me into their circle of friends. I live in Northwestern California about 10 minutes from the Pacific Ocean and about 300 miles north of San Francisco.

I shared this beautiful message with my kids. They lost their father 4 years ago. Not all of them have processed the loss already and I hope this can give them some comfort. We keep celebrating his life and the beautiful memories of our time together. Thanks for making us aware and reminding us of the love we all are. ❤

I’m big into gratitude but the moment doesn’t feel like a gift when you’re fighting to stay alive even though you hurt so bad you feel like you’re standing in flame

🙏🌺 the Spirit-Essence that inhabits all things, is the same in all forms of life, this is Oneness ...
to recognise the Identity of the Essence (that the Essence in myself is the same in the other being, person or animal etc) is Love ...
to perceive the Identity of the Essence in all Creation is unconditional, impersonal Love for all beings ...
this State does not need a personal relationship, but it is a common experience that we need help for carrying on the responsibilities of the daily life, that is why we look for personal relationships ...🙏🌺

Beautiful wholesome wisdom, kind of love for all I'd say, for existence. Loving existence is real connectivity, and makes us joyfully responsible, isn't it?
Love without object, any recepient is actually becoming love!!
I really admire and love where it may be coming from... such un-attaching free depth.... thankyou for great insightful significant inspiration that can set life's purpose.... grace.

🙏🌺 a human being has a surface external nature (body, emotions and mind) and an Inner Being, the Soul ...most probably, a relationship based on the surface nature,
(that is subjected to the law of change), can come to an end, but a relationship rooted in the Soul should not end because the Soul is Eternal and not subjected to the law of change, (the Soul does not betray and does not abandon) ...🙏🌺

When we are fully present, with no mental distractions, life becomes peaceful and blissful. Sometimes something in the present moment will remind me of either painful or enjoyable, and I try to just witness it and honor it, make a mental note of what I'm carrying with me and what triggers it, and then I just return to the moment. Just using life as a meditation.

That is a great question, and a video will be coming out soon on the topic. But ultimately it's about meditating on this concept, and to practice seeing the constant motion in seemingly stable objects, and expanding our awareness to this constant state of flux.
