The Crafting World has really change. I have always thought that it was about sharing and creating. I’m 75 years old, taught crafting classes years ago, we shared everything, instructions included. I don’t understand all this not sharing, copyrights etc! It’s taking so much of the fun out of crafting and creating. Vianney I have always enjoyed everything you have shared with us. I hope your spirts are lifted soon. Our world is in a very ugly place. Embrace your family…….enjoy being with them, leave the outside world out there. As for the cost of AG advent calendar, I’m glad I bought Diamond Press. In my estimation so much more offered in DP Advent Calendar. I watched you open it and you sold it to me. Can’t wait to start to open it. I’ve already forgotten what’s in it. I’m sorry AG asked you to take down your videos. I only got to see the one with the hat card. That was amazing. Your unboxing was so much fun! I thought it was expensive till I divided it by 12 and then it didn’t seem so bad anymore. I would love to see what you will do with some of these tabs. You are so creative.
I appreciate this video and you actually showing what dies are included in the Advent Calendar. I have many tag dies and even the little circle and slot dies to make the tag openings so this would have been a waste of money for me. I often refer back to your video on finger bow making so I hope you didn't have to take that down also. I'm sure the Create Events are very nice, but the price tag is way over my senior budget. Thanks again.
Now I need this too!! I can't believe they told you to take the videos down. I think the videos are super helpful for those that need the extra info, not only that it takes out the frustration for people who don't learn from their style of teaching while still allowing the person to enjoy the event. I learned to make the double finger bow from you and it was so much more helpful then watching someone struggle making one. I think they are making a mistake handling the situation this way. I appreciate all the awesome technique videos you make for us. The Facebook pages are getting very rule stringent as well and it's sucking the fun out. I had another company doing the same thing and after about 2 years of them losing customers they went back the other way and started having fun again. Hopefully Anna's team will figure it out much faster that you equal fun and free advertising which in turn make sales! You're a rock star, thanks for all you do!!! ❤
They could delete the link to your video if they felt it was a problem. You didn’t need to do it. That’s what moderators are for. They have no legal right to ask you to delete the video itself you made long before Create 10 to show an easy way to tie a double bow. I hope you still have that up on your website. They crossed a line here. People were frustrated, You showed a kindness. People asked for a clear demo of the double bow tying over and over because of the situation was unclear. So far they have not done that. You are just being helpful. Interesting how touchy they were over this, but I am not surprised.
Not a surprise they’re asking all Create vids to be taken down - her drive this time around is to make it exclusive dies, exclusive content, exclusive paid for information and designs. I get it it’s VERY expensive and people were b-hurt when others got to buy the dies with instruction after the class. Oh well, they should have made that very clear from the get go. If it helps, I first saw the finger bow similar to the one you make on an old Gina K. Video. It seems like the process you follow to make them. Perhaps you can re-post your video if you have a reference.

I got this and I made tags instead of finishing my prep work 😂 it wasn't anymore expensive than the SB stitch dies and it comes with supplies too!❤ I'm going to cut off the front of the calendar, cover the title and use it as a huge tag for a big present I have. Hmmm my guess is Create 10 considered the link self-promotion during their event? Heck most the FB groups I belong to don't allow self-promotion whether they enforce it or not 😂

It's funny, I had been working on the advent tags making double bows every day that week. I didn't even watch Anna or the replay. Yeah they should recognize when participants are trying to help others and encourage that or at least make guidelinesvery clear as not to single out peoplelike that. I missed all that bow confusion. I was in my own little world, trying to catch up on my prep work. After day 1, I stopped trying to keep up. I told myself I'm recovering from surgery, I'm lucky to get any of it finished. 🙃

Actually, on her website right now, Anna has this Advent Calendar priced at $125. HSN will nail you for shipping on top of their price $89.99. I pre-ordered mine from Anna Griffin Inc and it arrived unboxed,, torn and crushed on both ends with the packaging retapped and filthy. Advent is a sacred time for me, and the 12 Days of Christmas last from the Nativity until the feast of the Epiphany, i fail to see why any specific days need to be observed in opening this item. The word Advent is a misappropriation.
