I think the most instructive thing to point out about this session is that I'm not great at these exercises - because I don't practice them. There's a lesson there somewhere :)

dont fuss about it lessons are fine we understand them just fine and we can practice them on our own time.

During my IFR training we did a very demanding type of exercise which the instructors called "traffic A". It consisted of a square circuit with timed straight segments intercalated with 360-degree turns, some of which were level, some were climbing and some descending to specified altitudes. It was a long exercise (about half an hour IIRC) and it took as much concentration as you got, just to not get lost in which step of the way you were. This was done in the simulator, and then in the airplane. And it was before we even started on ADF, VOR, holding patterns, etc. The objective there was of course to polish the pilot's precision in accurately maintaining speed, turn rate and climb/descent rate, all at the same time, critical for precise IFR flying.

      Sounds like a challenge :)

    That’s my homework for tomorrow.

I have to try this with zero wind and see if the propwash is simulated in accusim after the 2 minute turn.

That moment when you cross your own wake turbulence... chef's kiss

Would the wash from such a small plane not be mostly gone after 2 minutes?

@@XCougar85X No, I dis it in a cessna 150 in real life. You just feel a little turbulence :)

Hello Jonathan, Sorry im sending you this message i as just trying to make sure you got it. Its about Little Navmap. I've just watched your tutorial video and it was excellent. Im having trouble when i zoom in. When i first start Navmap i get the world globe then i zoom in to England. As i zoom the map shows all different colour squares and the actual map is hard to see. It does show the Airports but nothing like how your map was. I have tried various map changes and updated the msfs maps but it still does this. Have you any ideas what im doing ?
