This is not the final season. There will be a season 5 which is the finale of the series. Season 4 will be split in two - part 1 drops May 27th & part 2 drops on July 17th. Oh, and unlike previous seasons, each episode in S4 will be over an hour long.

I think they first announced that way back when the show was renewed after season 1. They've said it many times in interviews, press releases, and at events like Comic Con that the entire story will play out over the course of 5 seasons.

My old lady eyes saw the 7 in May 27 as a blurry/double image & superimposed it next to the 1 for July. I should remember by now to grab my eye glasses - old habits die hard. :-)
it's annoying after all this time we have to wait until july to get the second part. If there is only 8 episodes after all the time we waited for this season it's absurd

I think it's Billy after he's he died because he had the mind players tentacles attached to him so probably he turned into the new monster for season 4
Maybee but i have this theory that billy will be in s4, he could be in max flashback or Vecna will use billy’s body against Max don’t you think? I mean vecna was like the Master of the upside down and yet Vecna knew about what happen to billy,he probably witnessed when billy encounter his own self but evil
@@danielintoccia9537vecna is 001 which he is not the creator of upsidedown, the upsidedown always existed but 011 send him to there by opening the 1st guate ever, so he got there and he told 011 " we reshape and recreate the world " so he did a copy paste of Hawkins in the upsidedown but the time there stopped like nancy said cuz he created it in 70's where 011 send him there... like old Hawkins
this season is twice as long as 1-3 and no episode is under an hour!!, the guy at the end is vecna (confirmed by duffer brothers) aka one of the greatest and most powerful villains in d&d (the game which all the monsters are named after)

Although I have already seen it ,I wear glasses and have a really hard time seeing what your reacting to . Since the volume is low as well it makes it difficult. Well that's a really personal ask but , can't hurt to ask.

Nah it's Vecna. He is project #1 and creator of the upside down.
