Thank you for your inspiring story. I had a 4 cm meningioma removed from my left frontal lobe on May 1st of this year. I ended up going for a second brain surgery a month and a half later as I had developed an infection in my brain which happens in 1% of cases! After the second surgery I was on at home antibiotics 24 hours a day for a total of 6 weeks before the infection cleared. I lost complete use of my right arm, given that the tumor was on the left side, I have gained all of that back but still struggle with fine motor skills. I know what you mean by the light at the end of the tunnel and when you see it! I felt like I was never going to be well again! I am now 5 months past brain surgery number one and three months past brain surgery number two and finally starting to get back to my life! I just started a gradual return to work and that has been amazing for me. I still have symptoms off and on of dizziness, or over stimulation in the brain and I too wonder if I'm ever going to be normal again! Thank you for sharing your story, it's good to know there are others out there going through the same thing

Listening to you, the pain and the surgeries you went through sends shivers down my spine. I am so humbled and delighted to know you. Indeed, God is a great God. Seeing the photos of all you had to go through and now today in this video, is surely a testimony! I am looking forward to watching more of your videos and learning more from you. Peter, I think the Lord always that he brought you me and Ken together! Together, iron sharpens iron and we are encouraged by God’s work in our lives together. My prayer is that this video will give much strength and encouragement to those who are despairing. I pray that they will know that God is always present and provides us with strength that only he can give. With joy in Christ!

I was just diagnosed with about a 3cm Meningioma. I have an appointment with Barrow's Brain in Spine with Dr. Kris Smith this coming Friday. I haven't had any symptoms, got a baseline CT scan that found it after my Father was recently diagnosed with Glioblastoma Brain Cancer.

Location is in between right frontal lobe and mid brain area. They haven’t scheduled surgery as of yet, but soon. I’m located in Arizona and going to Barrows Brain and Spine.

    Were your optic nerves destroyed

The chasm where the right nerve and left nerve cross was damaged, but not destroyed. I lost my peripheral vision, but I still am able to see so that I can see all of God’s beautiful creation, my family, children, my grandchildren, and my friends!
