The progress from TI8 is just insane haven't seen anyone develop so well in Dota history, OG just crafted a masterpiece.

Topson’s strength comes from the fact that aside from the meta heroes, he has signature comfort picks that can and will stomp you if you don’t ban them (Meme QW Invoker, MK, Pugna, Arc Warden). He can make dominating, flashy plays but also help Ana farm well. A year ago he often feeds to do that but he has massively improved right now. His teammates synergy also help, especially Jerax’s insanely deep hero pool that can flex Topson’s heroes, making the enemy team have to think very carefully about their bans (N0tail Chen is a money making machine you never wanna let through!! Letting Jerax’s ES through is like career suicide. Not to mention various meta heroes available). Banning OG’s comfort heroes will just let them play the meta heroes which they’re perfectly fine with, or banning the meta heroes which will let OG turn the game into your typical pubstomps.

People always labeled 'good player' by their kill counts, they failed to see their full potential even invoker got constantly banned when playing against OG.
Means your so called injoker topson is actually seen as a threat by other pro teams, no flashing combo, bulls eye sun strike, but on point tornado and anoying roaming.
OG is such an epitome of 5 man team, only scrubs said the otherwise (One man team, Ana only team, fluke TI winner, etc)

He already face almost all best mid player in the world and win. If he's not the best mid player now, then he must be the best mid player for OG. The way he sync with ana and the others its perfect
still think sumail is the best mid player. but topson is definitely in the top rank. from what we see today. i think the meta and objective has change for mid player. i think OG have Ceb who understand the game inside out.
it not just about winning the lane anymore like sumail and sommus is doing .
I would say there are some mid players who are better than Topson when it comes to 1v1 scenarios (e.g. Sumail is definitely a better 1v1 mid player), but his teamwork is much better than most other mid players and that's what Dota is about. So 1v1 he might be worse than others but in his team he is just a monster. Topson always puts the team first and only goes for flashy plays when he can afford it, while people like Sumail rarely sacrifice themselves unless absolutely necessary.
Though I think Topson's (or OG's in general) biggest talent is the ability to keep cool even if playing at a disadvantage. They did so last year and this year their confidence was just insane.
Regardless of who is the best mid, I don't think many players have progressed so much in their professional career. 2 years pro, 2 x TI champ.
mechanically, the king Sumail and Somnus are still better midlaners than him in a pure 1v1 lane but the way Topson did the unique builds and spacemaking gameplay for his team especially Ana is what makes him a better player in a team

Can definitely see Topson was more nervous in TI8 and made more mistakes. TI9 it’s clear he has gained a lot of self confidence on the main stage and he has been fully in control of his games, quite literally ascended to Godson

OG makes every hero goes full potential with their perfect teamplay coordination.
You can see often OG get dominated in early laning phase by other team, making mistakes, getting ganked alone.
But when it comes to teamfight... oh boy... even with low hp ana and topson can make it back and do an amazing teamfight. Because they know their teammate gonna be there watching their back. When it comes to other team, they often run away from risky teamfights, but OG, omg, they just keep coming and coming until every single one of the enemies is put down.
When ana and topson taking care of one hero, jerax just blink and sweep other enemies into the pit. Like the chef cooking the meal and supporting cook preparing the ingredients. Damn I have to pause and rewatch every single teamfight to catch with their momentum

Adam Thomas Topson performance on last TI was good but can be pretty inconsistent at time you can tell that is his first LAN tournament but he made some amazing play like his defend against LGD push on the ancient with Arc Warden. this year though he a freaking beast
Jasdeep Singh lol i did watch every single game from group stage last year, he sometime over extand and couldn’t sync with his team play and die in unnecessary situations that’s what i see last year but this year he is better aggressive but able to create space for his team and able to make team play with his team that’s also why they stomped this year ti better than last year
