L.V. F.Y. So I literally just finished watching it.... Makoto Shinkai made this, right? He made another of my favourite movies, 5 centimetres per second. He really knows how to make people cry, huh? I'm not sure whether it was a happy ending or not -.-
SPOILERS (For anyone who hasn't seen it and is reading this x])... I would argue that it was a happy ending because they found each other ^_^ They may have lost their memories of each other which I believe is partly due to the fact that the purpose for the body swaps had been fulfilled and the fact that Taki returned the cord for Mitsuha's braid and that they had to leave something precious behind as an offering to the underworld.... So that is the depressing part (ಥ﹏ಥ)... but once they found each other again then it was certain that they would end up together because like Taki said "they will know once they see each other" that they are precious to each other (⺣◡⺣)♡*... haha sorry for my long response (^^ゞ Can you tell that I loved this movie (〃∀〃)ゞ lol What did you think about the movie? I have yet to hear someone say they disliked it but if you have any criticism for it I'd love to know about it ^_^ Also, yes you are right about Makoto Shinkai and his skill at making such emotional stories (＾ω＾) I actually haven't seen 5 centimeters per second though I heard it's a much more depressing ending than this one (ﾟωﾟ;)
L.V. F.Y. To be honest, it's impossible to dislike the movie. It has everything. From fantasy stuff (kinda), to romance. I'd actually recommend 5 centimetres per second, it's an hour long, and extremely depressing, but it's a good movie, and the song at the end is just beautiful (it's called one more time, one more chance). I believe Shinkai also did Voices of a distant star, which is funny, as I watched it last night right before watching Your Name. Honestly, I hate the questions he leaves at the end of his movies, but the movies are just so amazing that they don't bother me. I'm yet to see a stand alone anime movie that isn't a Ghibli movie that doesn't leave me with questions and sadness...

Why. Is. There. Piano. Over. Where. The. Melody. Is? This would make sense if it's a Piano cover, which based off of the original posting, it's exactly that. A piano cover. However any true Karaoke Track does NOT have a piano part over where the Vocals are supposed to be. You got my hopes up as I've been wanting to cover this song for YEARS and have had no luck in finding a decent backing track that doesn't have piano or another instrument over the vocals. My tears are real.
@@cherry8066 I'm a professional singer. Have been for years. I don't NEED the piano where the lyrics are. It leaves zero room for adding your own interpretation to the song. Makes it incredibly militant. It's unnecessary and ruins the entire track.

What key is this in?
Why. Is. There. Piano. Over. Where. The. Melody. Is? This would make sense if it's a Piano cover, which based off of the original posting, it's exactly that. A piano cover. However any true Karaoke Track does NOT have a piano part over where the Vocals are supposed to be. You got my hopes up as I've been wanting to cover this song for YEARS and have had no luck in finding a decent backing track that doesn't have piano or another instrument over the vocals. My tears are real.
If you have a voice that can sound like the melody of the og song without the singer then it should be fine =_=

@@cherry8066 I'm a professional singer. Have been for years. I don't NEED the piano where the lyrics are. It leaves zero room for adding your own interpretation to the song. Makes it incredibly militant. It's unnecessary and ruins the entire track.
