Hey Jeff. On about 0836 on the video time, you have in the background a Cerwin Vega Floor Speaker. I bought a Cerwin Vega, Center Console Speaker around 1994, and this thing will run you out of the living room. It's nice to see that folks still enjoy a good Home Stereo System that involves Cerwin Vega's. Thanks for the review on this lens.
Very good review. I won this lens from DG in the 2017 summer. I really wanted it from the time it came out. I am an Altura product fan I love all the products I bought from them so far. So I was elated when I won the lens of course. I have used the lens and have gotten really great photos from it.
Thank you! I have been searching for a decent fisheye lens for astrophotography without breaking the bank. I've been considering this lens for a couple of months now but wasn't sold on it until now. I've been trying to fins a decent review of this lens and finally cae across your video. Your shot if the Milky Way and Andromeda Galaxies sold me on it lol.
Jeff's Crappy Reviews i sure did. Took it out for a few ocean shots as well as used it to get some decent shots during a few event shoots i was doing. I'm still learning my way around it but over all this is a great lens for the price!
My boss recommended this lens for me for Astrophotography and I just ordered it today. I'm very excited for the next full moon so I can try to get my first milky way shot
From what I read it has a 5 star rating lens . I think it could be a lens yes its specialized for a specific use. But I think if you have the right setting your likely to get great results/photos . GOOD REVIEW SIR .
As a main lens I would say no. You have no auto focus or stabilization. It might be fun for parts of videos to get a fisheye effect (google "dog fisheye lens" pictures to see what I mean). If you are vlogging you might want to stick with the 18-55mm kit lens. If you want something wider I have been using a Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8 (will review at some point) for landscapes and video. Its cheap and its wide without the fisheye distortion. This one also does not have video stabilization. You might also look into a Canon 10-18mm f/4.5-5.6. It is cheaper and has stabilization but it is not as fast as the Tokina.
Hey Jeff ! Pretty good review man ! , I have that same lens and I agree with you the lens body is built rock solid little heavy but it’s well built I’d rather have that then some cheap plastic lens , Gave you a sub man 🤙🏽 keep it up ... if you have an Instagram and wanna follow me just search @j_mac_images I Post 2 photos some time more every week . Later man ✌️🤙🏽

Hi, thank you for the review. We hope that you will take many great photos with this lens!
Thank you for the thorough review, especially the range of testing environments and applications including (especially!) astro photography. 🙂
I bought this lens because of your video. I'm really happy with it so far!

Did you end up buying the lens? I used it a few weeks ago and got a great shot of the milky way core (Not visible in the winter months).

Hi! I'm a bit late, but do you know if this will fit a Canon Eos 2000D? Mainly for shooting bmx and skate videos. Thanks!
Nice review. Does it fits to a T7i?
¡Hola! Excelente video, gracias por tu punto de vista de este lente
Is this lens compatible with the Canon EOS M50? If yes will you please tell me what to do to get it for my Canon EOS M50 please...
Great review
do u know if it fits canon rebel t5i
Yes it fits the rebel t5i
Will this be a god match for 5d iii?
No this lens is for a crop sensor and a 5D mk III is a full frame sensor. If you put this on a full frame you will get a circle fisheye image.
@@jeffscrappyreviews1519 thought so..
You have a full frame?
Nope this is only for crop sensor cameras
The box states it is for full frame as well.
You're awesome!
Nice
I think it's so funny that this channel is referred to as crappy reviews, lol. I had to subscribe.
Is it good for video?
