How did you come to the conclusion that the S10 screen is more accurate? The 7 Pro received the highest overall DisplayMate score, stating that it is "Visually Indistinguishable From Perfect".
One Plus 7 Pro even at the same price, seriously I had a Note 9 and now with the 7 Pro its everything so much better, for the people crying about the camera, try it after the last updates or especially the Google Cam and you will be amazed of what it can do, apart from that, its the perfect phone IMO, I dont need a slowass wireless charging when I chargue my phone 20 minutes the day in the morning and still could use it for the next day at 2K 90hz, I dont need an IP68 when its already protected, or SD cards when I cant even fill up 50gb. The 7 Pro is the best user experience, software hardware design screen battery, everything is just perfect for me, Im sure many people sceptic about the 7 Pro would find it the best phone available right now like I do, and I got the 8/256 for 630€ on Amazon, but I would be good paying 759€ the phone deserves it, Samsung phones 1 year later costs half because they doesnt hold up well, One Plus phones can be used 3 years with cotinuous support from One Plus, the fastest updates and keeping the fastest user experience, ehem ehem, Apple
OnePlus 7pro, better refresh rate, faster, better long term phone, faster charging times, battery last as long as the s10. I have the s10 plus only because of it being cheaper at the time of buying it.
@@vivekan97 weight doesn't really matter, you wont ever say "should've got the s10 because it's lighter". The storage also doesn't matter (personally) 128gb is more than enough, official ip rating just makes the phone more expensive and wireless charginf again personally is useless to me. Only upside is headphone jack. In the long run s10 will slow down. Happened to my s7 edge, again i bought the s10plus only because it was much cheaper, im really happy with it but wouldve been happier with op7 pro
@@tonymack2007 Agreed that wired earphones are cheaper but the convenience of wireless earphones is far better, speaking for average consumer honestly.
I don't agree with their choice to leave it out either, but you can buy an Apple USB-C to 3.5mm adaptor that has a very good DAC for $10 USD. Decent solution to a shitty problem.
I had my Bluetooth headphones for a long time even when my previous phone (Oneplus 5t) had a headphone jack, so since im still using those headphones the lack of 3.5mm is not a problem for me, but i see where you're coming from. It can be a problem, but tbh Bluetooth headphones are even better than 'normal' cuz there is no cable restricting you.
@@MrCosmin94 I won't say they are better than the S10's speakers, since I've never used the S10. They are loud and pretty clear for the most part. Dolby Atmos is supported for them too.
I had p30 pro and s10 plus(exynos) before my oneplus 7 pro 8 256gb. Oneplus is way faster and smoother than both with great battery life using always 90hz and automatic resolution change. The 7 pro is so smooth so smooth that you will forget all. I never used wireless charging on both, or sd card and audio jack on s10 plus. I prefer smoothness and faster updates. It depends on your needs and what u want from smartphone.

The 90hz display, ram and UFS 3.0 storage of the oneplus 7 pro was all made by Samsung. iFixit confirmed it during their teardown. Samsung could have used it all if they wanted to though UFS 3.0 was first used in the Galaxy fold but they're saving it for the next flagship
Yep. Most parts for most phones are made by Samsung. I don't think 'saving it for the next flagship' is any sort of a good thing though. That sucks. But the OP7p launched later and that's just how it goes. Can only use the latest tech that's available at the time.
Note 9 60hz. Asus rog 2 phone 120hz samsung oled. They will not do a higher hz until maybe gs11. People complain about battery. My oneplus 7 pro. Qhd 90hz with 90hz mod at all time get me 7 hour sot and 22 stand by.
@@eduardmc There's an easy fix for that and most phones, including the ROG, Red Magic 3, and Razer phone use it. They adjust the refresh dynamically (auto). Plus like in the case of the Red Magic 3 which starts at only $480 yet has a 5000mah battery, sd 855, ff stereo spkrs, headphone jack still.... They can just up the battery that much more. No matter what you buy.. its a win win for samsung.. the costliest components of one plus are made by Samsung.. the display, the chipset, the storage.. mayb even the battery
If he's running the Sammie screen at high brightness, then it is absolutely possible. Think he's talking day to day average use, and not like controlled testing.
OnePlus 7 pro's display is warmer and dull compared to other devices. You can notice it while watching videos. I've used both the devices and settled with OP7 pro. But i miss that perfect amoled display galaxy s10+ has.
Got the OP7p after 3 generations of Samsung products. OP7p is a breath of fresh air. Oxygen OS is awesome, fast and the 90hz screen is a champ. Once you go 90hz, you just can't go back... And the warp charging is a game changer.
Here is honest review. If both phones were the same price price the Samsung is better phone. And I actually own a Oneplus 6T so know the quality of brand. but because of difference in price you have to justify parts of the phone OnePlus 7 Pro doesn't have and the delta of price. Both phones are great phones. I would lean towards OnePlus 7 Pro, but Samsung has more bell and whistles.
I think you still forgot that OnePlus 7 pro is the fastest phone on earth (yet) and has a 90Hz panel to match it, so it looks as good and smooth as it sounds
@@malcewicz That's only nitpicking . All phones these days are fast and you'll hardly notice the difference in every day use. Speed tests are for dumb idiots who sit down all day opening and closing apps.
S10 Plus can be just as fast or faster than the OP7 if you turn off the animations... The OP7 has better refresh rate but in terms of actual screen quality and brightness the S10 Plus has a nicer screen. Though the OP7 has no punch hole for the camera which is better.
Few important points which made me choose galaxy s10 plus over onplus seven pro : Almost half the radiation Speakers twice as good Screen almost ten times better. Watching Netflix, Prime especially with there content quality. Ever other screen feels dull after Much much lighter. I can finally keep a big phone in my pocket without my pants going down. Try using it in smaller spaces and you will know the value Built feels really a lot more premium Pop up chat apps and others are oh so awesome to use in regular experience It’s beyond me to understand why every reviewer misses on Samsung pay, is it not available in US .? That alone is such an awesome feature and makes life so much easier You can plug in a USB out of the box, works as good as a laptop Blue light filter is such an amazing feature. I have it auto on after 7 pm everyday and really love how it subtly makes an impact Galaxy buds, that reverse charging is really a very advanced tech and a very handy feature Wireless charging is a lot more convenience once you start using it then you realise. Putting in a wire just feels very cave mannish now 😁no really Another thing I don’t get, why no reviewer talks about 4K optically stabilised video recording ? Another big thing, about the cutout. Guys! Just view the phone down the other way. The cutout comes at bottom right corner and you don't even know that it's there. It's a way more awesome experience than tear drop or having notch in the middle. The comparison of this phone is more with iPhone X than one plus anyway.
I agree with u the s10+ is the best . And also about the price u get the s10+ 128gb factory unlocked for $700 in the middle east I picked up mine from dubai m happy with my pick.
I find it funny that most TH-cam videos using Galaxy S10's always put the "hole/pill" in the upper left of videos played to show the screen. I have an S10, and I turn the phone so that the Bixby button and volume controls are on the top side, which puts my single "camera hole" in the bottom right corner, makes the volume controls readily available per video, and seems to me less intrusive in the viewing. Just a suggestion.
@@Jry088 But I find many to have the TH-cam personality symbol in that right bottom corner, and many play through videos I watch also rarely use that area. Just suggesting tho. Thanks.
@@Check4040 Amazing. Again, the s10+ is amazing as well, but the OP has got the extras that matter to me. The screen is beautiful, high refresh rate and a notchless experience. The Snapdragon 855 really does make a difference. Furthermore, the charging is crazy quick with warp charging. It has everything the s10+ has except for wireless charging, a headphone jack and wireless power sharing. As I got my s10+ with the galaxy buds, I never used any wired headphones. Its just sad that for the same price in S10 and you wont get the snapdragon version in most countries. Instead, you get the exynos version that is slower and not battery efficient. And you wont see it in paper when buying it.
No-one saw screen comparison between these two phone but you did this i have been waiting for this very curiously thank you. Everyone should do comparison screen also because it is major part of smartphone
Glad I went with my One plus 7pro. Been using i phone and Samsung Galaxy all my life. This phone is the Flagship killer. I may never go back. I'm enjoying the speed of this phone.
The big camera glass on the back makes it so I always have to wipe it and I even cracked it while everything else is okay but I love this phone so much
I'm stuck deciding which display is better looking. While the hole punch is inferior to a notch less design, it definitely gives the device an identity, which the display of the 7 pro doesn't have. You can't tell its display apart from the Find X or the Reno or the A80, whereas for the most part, the S10 basically owns the hole punch, and you won't really see anybody walking around with non-s10 hole punch phones.
Love ur vids but i would like to correct u on something samsung finger print sensor is a sonic sensor and oneplus is light based that's why oneplus need light in the display while samsung does't always on display has nothing to do with this.
My good sir the one plus does not have a better display just because of the 90Hrz. The resolution and quality output is higher and more clear on the s10plus. Plus the one+ display is made by Samsung also the nit brightness is way higher than the oneplus

Nice comparison Tim. I'll argue the camera aspect only because OnePlus is innovating the experience with picture taking and can't be judged on point and shoot alone IMO. Sure the S10+ takes a better snap at initial release of both and even after the first month but my money goes to OP long-term bc I'll believe a better all around experience and better pics goes to OnePlus. Honestly it's all personal preference here. Great content man, keep bringin it.
lol well it's not actually. For one, Samsung makes the Oneplus' screen, so it's just as good. Secondly, the OP has 90hz which greatly improves daily usage. Finally, there's no stupid ugly hole punched in the screen! So S10 plus = worse screen.
I have a question or want an opinion. If i want to upgrade from my oneplus 6t. Would you wait a few months for the 7t pro or get the 7 pro now? I'll get the 7 pro today but I was going to send it back and wait a few more months. Not sure if it would be worth the wait. What do you think?
Hahaha so true....60Hz is smooth enough. Unless 90 or 120Hz becomes a standard in the future and not only work on the UI but the whole software experience.
reviewers like to bring up the price difference between these phones as a parameter of comparison but often they forget current price of s10+. You can get a s10+ plus around 700$ or lower nowadays while 1+ doesn't offer any discount . By the end of the year, you may be able to get a s10+ at 500-550$ and 1+ will retain it launch price even then. Another thing worth of mentioning, you will get a decent Earphone with s10+. with 1+, you will get nothing but a fast charger.
Hi Tim, Great Demo Video ! Both Phones seem like winners. I would have to consider long and hard to come to a decision on which to purchase. Which, price point wise, says much for the One Plus ! Of course the, "All Screen Display", and the, "90 Hertz Refresh Rate" are certainly enticing, AND, for me, what seem to be an "Overwhelming" amount of "Redundant Features" with Samsung, (which gives me pause when CONSIDERING it), also make a decision difficult. Can't help but wonder what an inevitable "7 Pro T" might bring ? In any case, I'm Trying to hold off and see what "2020" Phones will be offering 🤔. Others may not agree, but I have felt lucky to have had a "Nexus 6P" for almost 4 years, and I Still Love it. At the time, 2015, the Nexus 6P was much like the One Plus Line, offering outstanding specs at a Very Reasonable Price. And it has held up, at least I think so, Very Well. It came with, Type C Charging (one of the first in 2015), FF Stereo Speakers, and with OS Updates, I've enjoyed many firsts much higher priced Phones didn't have until Way after I already had them ! I wanted a New Phone This Year, but my Phone of Choice, a Google Phone, (Pixel XL), was met with disappointment. I'm really looking forward to 2020 Phones. Just feel an "Intuition" ! 🙄. Hoping for the best !!! 👍. Thanks again Tim, and have a Great Day 🌞, JaneLee 🕊️ 6/26/19 - in Pennsylvania
I'm pretty sure 2020 will have larger batteries, faster charging speeds, under or in screen display cameras ( no more notches or pop up cameras) and most likely better, faster, more secure on screen finger print scanners. That's my take. Oppo is actually about to unveil soon their under screen display camera. I would be on the look out for that. And since Oppo is a sister company of OnePlus under the same Parent company, I'm assuming OnePlus will have that feature very soon too.
I wonder why people still opt for Android phones Tim. This is seriously a threat to privacy. I talked about it in great detail why people should switch from Android to iPhone keeping in view their privacy. Check it out! I might change your mind about using any Android phone. PEACE!!

Honest question. Is the S10+ really 1000$ ? Many videos seem to compare launch prices, and disregard the way Samsung aggressively discounts after a couple of months, compared to OP, who pretty much sticks to the launch price. At the moment in my country (Romania), the OP7 Pro 8/256GB is 45$ more expensive than the 8/128GB S10+. OP7 Pro - 905$, S10+ - 860$ at the same retailer.
hahahaha pathetic Samsung fanboy, do they pay you? 300€ more and still at the same price I would chose again the 7 Pro, and I come from the Galaxy Note 9, so I know what is like to have Samsung, its just so much better on everything, and the phone is protected against water and charging your phone to half the speed is not the smartest idea maybe.. when you can use a 30W 20 minutes per day

I wasn't against it at first but the adapters keep breaking as they are made so badly.

To force 90hz all the time on the oneplus is a hack using adb, u cannot enable it by default.
@@eduardmc So it's been updated? Because it was full-time 90hz at launch, and that's why it was draining faster. Still better than most phone's battery life anyway though. $1000+ "optimized" iphones are far behind 😆

The OP7 has better refresh rate but in terms of actual screen quality and brightness the S10 Plus has a nicer screen.
Though the OP7 has no punch hole for the camera which is better.
Few important points which made me choose galaxy s10 plus over onplus seven pro :
Almost half the radiation
Speakers twice as good
Screen almost ten times better. Watching Netflix, Prime especially with there content quality. Ever other screen feels dull after
Much much lighter. I can finally keep a big phone in my pocket without my pants going down. Tired of carrying around phone in hand
Edge screen is an amazing convenience
Camera is lot better for a regular user, great shots come easy
Front camera is way better
Wide lense is oh so awesome, like really . Try using it in smaller spaces and you will know the value
Built feels really a lot more premium
Pop up chat apps and others are oh so awesome to use in regular experience
It’s beyond me to understand why every reviewer misses on Samsung pay, is it not available in US .? That alone is such an awesome feature and makes life so much easier
You can plug in a USB out of the box, works as good as a laptop
Blue light filter is such an amazing feature. I have it auto on after 7 pm everyday and really love how it subtly makes an impact
Galaxy buds, that reverse charging is really a very advanced tech and a very handy feature
Wireless charging is a lot more convenience once you start using it then you realise. Putting in a wire just feels very cave mannish now 😁no really
Another thing I don’t get, why no reviewer talks about 4K optically stabilised video recording ?
Another big thing, about the cutout. Guys! Just view the phone down the other way. The cutout comes at bottom right corner and you don't even know that it's there. It's a way more awesome experience than tear drop or having notch in the middle.
The comparison of this phone is more with iPhone X than one plus anyway.

As for wireless charging, I never used it. But that's personal preference. Wireless power sharing is cool and I tried it once for the gimmick, but never used it again after.

Talking about the curve edges, samsung has mastered it's edge displays, you won't see such immense reflections & accidental touches on S10's display unlike op7pro's.

Love ur vids but i would like to correct u on something samsung finger print sensor is a sonic sensor and oneplus is light based that's why oneplus need light in the display while samsung does't always on display has nothing to do with this.

reviewers like to bring up the price difference between these phones as a parameter of comparison but often they forget current price of s10+.
Of course the, "All Screen Display", and the, "90 Hertz Refresh Rate" are certainly enticing, AND, for me, what seem to be an
"Overwhelming" amount of "Redundant Features" with Samsung, (which gives me pause when CONSIDERING it), also make a decision difficult.

That's my take. Oppo is actually about to unveil soon their under screen display camera. I would be on the look out for that. And since Oppo is a sister company of OnePlus under the same Parent company, I'm assuming OnePlus will have that feature very soon too.
