When I was a little kid my uncle took me to the record store to buy my first album, and i looked around not knowing shit and picked Diary of a Madman because of the exceedingly cool cover. Turned out to be pretty rad. Anyways, thanks the memory to somewhat offset my rage that youre 30 years younger and 10x better at guitar than me.
That up-pitch squeal at 1:18- 1:22 give me happy chills. Listened to it so many times. Although i wish i could hear that right side descend and that squeal more.
Oh dear dog... that was fuggin' surreal! I grew up with St. Randy's version, but I luuuuuurve this super-fuzz take with the harmonies and nuanced changes!
been watching a few of your videos here in England, your playing is phenomenal!, I found my first ever guitar after being lost for 18 years in a friends garage it was beaten up and not working, I managed to get it working again, I am reliving some very happy memories from my teens. much love to you for giving me some inspiration to get back into it.
Hell yea! Nailed it!! Cool how you duplicated to play both parts... You never cease to entertain and make me smile. Especially with that huge grin at the end. Shred on Kayla!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥🔥
Not only did you rock that song & solo but we also got to see "2" shots of you're beautiful face at the same time !!! Thanks for all the great videos !!
Love your videos. And your videos really inspire me, I’m a Metal head since my childhood and now I’m 38 yeas old. One on my dreams was to learn to play guitar so Fuck it I’m going to buy a guitar and learn to play it.
This young lady is great. I think I love it so much because visually it's some really pretty nerdy looking (I mean that in a good way) girl... then she starts shredding and it's like yeah seeing her randomly walking down the street I would totally not expect that one. Like at all. Anyhow keep up the great work, love the videos and the whole sticking your tongue out thing is a super adorable trademark move lol
I also love at 0:34- 0:49 you do the riff he does at the very end of the song and then do the solo, instead of doing the song itself. I always loved those last chords on the album
I like how you shred without wearing skimpy clothing, unlike other youtubers. anyways sounds awesome! That first part of the solo I practice with my pinky (b string; 17th fret), but I see you use the ring finger. I read that its not good habit, I do it both ways sometimes to find what's more comfortable. but you did great!
I want to compliment you on the tone you're getting out of that amp. I still think you should do a video teaching how to get your guitar to squeal, scream, whatever....You're just awesome.
I'm glad you played the solo the way you did. Originality! Eddie Van Hallen didn't play the kinks song the way the kinks played it. You are budding into your own originality, sound and style. Fricking awesome.
Randy is my favorite of all time. I still remember the day he passed and how sad I was. His work still moves me to this day. Thanks for this amazing tribute to him, Kayla.
Amazing how you can play that while looking relaxed. SO much talent. If I were a guitar player, I'd probably be like "And here's another cover of Wonderwall!" [audible groans from audience] {JK}
I remember hearing Flying High Again in Adam Sandler's movie called Little Nicky. Ozzy made a cover of Rocky Mountain Way in his Under Cover album. He does a cover of a lot of songs in his Under Cover album. I'm sure you know this but Joe Walsh is the original artist of Rocky Mountain Way. I remember hearing the Joe Walsh version of Rocky Mountain Way in Joe Dirt.
never thought i would need it but during practice my high e string kept getting caught over and over again under the pickup. gonna get me some electrical tape soon... lol
Awesome. That's my favorite Randy Rhoads solo. You nailed it. 😀 My motto is if Randy didn't need delay either do I. Even though I'm more of a rythm player👺
I cut my teeth on Joe and Steve. I've jammed with Robben Ford, Craig Chiquiso, and Tommy Shannon. Not much impresses me, but your videos are always surprising and fun. Please take care of those hands.
You always make it look so fun and easy. When I play, I look like I'm trying to pass a kidney stone.
You should write a song about passing a kidney stone
🤣
She is so beautiful!
My face forgets how to face, and I just look like a drooling idiot.
@@AngelinoShred I do actually drool sometimes when I play, it's ridiculous 😂
That squeal is like what I'd expect to hear if shooting stars made sounds.✨
Love the tapping part on top, too.

Hands down, the most impressive part was you fucking NAILING that harmonic toward the beginning like it was nothing. Wow!
That up-pitch squeal at 1:18- 1:22 give me happy chills. Listened to it so many times. Although i wish i could hear that right side descend and that squeal more.
incredible playing... and a beautiful onesie dress, too!
Oh dear dog... that was fuggin' surreal! I grew up with St. Randy's version, but I luuuuuurve this super-fuzz take with the harmonies and nuanced changes!
One of those solos that gives me the straight up chills!! You nailed it even with the backgrounds and attention to detail, LIKE A BOSS!!

You have a twin! Nice harmony! You freaking rock!
Always a joy to see what you come up with next. And that harmony during the tapping section: chef's kiss!
That was so awesome I love her so much Randy would be proud!
That's cute as hell!! A purrrdy kitten playing away to Ozzy!! Great vid!! And meow!! !!! Bark!! 🐶🐱
@KaylaKent, that's very impressive that you can shred some killer rifts on your thunder Axe. Keep on rocking, young lady.

That was a fun new take on that solo. Well done.
Ha! Love these vids, especially your sound. But that tasty bit added as backing to the solo, nice... Long live Randy
You are one cool guitar player. The sideways grin you do is always cool too.
That riff from the 10th to the 14th and then the 15th on the B and E is the real deal. You make it look easy. Outstanding 🤘
absolutely nailed it id hire you in a heartbeat for the tone alone
and BOOM! ...just like that!! Awesome Kayla!
That was an incredible performance! You rock!
Awesome again! I can tell your in your happy zone when ever your playing your guitar.
I think you would make anything look easy. You rock!!!! Keep coming with the videos.
That song sure is fun to play with friends, cause everyone sings it while they jam.... Great solo. keep playing the hits!
Not only did you rock that song & solo but we also got to see "2" shots of you're beautiful face at the same time !!! Thanks for all the great videos !!
I'm happy to see you made it back through the snow alright. Thanks double K!
Love your videos. And your videos really inspire me, I’m a Metal head since my childhood and now I’m 38 yeas old. One on my dreams was to learn to play guitar so Fuck it I’m going to buy a guitar and learn to play it.
As someone who loves listening to guitar solos, subscribing to your youtube channel was one of my better decisions.

That was sick! I especially liked during the tapping how you had the other guitar do the synth sounds.
you had me at the 33 second mark, you are my new internet crush
Love this solo! You are really good pretty dang cool to watch 🤘

Wow your really spoiling us with that fancy split screens 😮 fab as always
Awesome job as always, Kayla. :)
What can I say?! Simply terrific!💯💥

Miss Kayla!!!!! Great job. More, more more. 🤘🤘🤘
I want to compliment you on the tone you're getting out of that amp. I still think you should do a video teaching how to get your guitar to squeal, scream, whatever....You're just awesome.

Thanks for reminding me how awesome that song is
Love it , it was sooo nice to see you today
I like the use of split screen. Keep that trick handy for future vids. Pretty cool.
Certified absolute banger

I keep waiting for an All Over Tonight cover, definitely my favorite song/solo from Projects in the Jungle.
Your playing is second to none

Ahhh yes. Sounds great Kayla 🤘
Still waiting on that full length cover of the Heavy Metal soundtrack, Kayla! 😉

Two Kaylas?! The world is not ready for that yet.
1. See your cover

Wow, excellent!....As always
HEY YOUR NOT PLAYING IT LIKE RANDY DID !!!! Lol... j/k... Great Video.. Keep Em Comin !!!
Great playing 🤟🤟
Random observation, but that chair actually looks really decent for guitar playing. Better than my hand-me-down office chair with arm rests lol
