Obviously not because that's a British Broadcasting Corporation, however news that affects London is generally given more of a focus in the major news stories and then it switches to your regional news. A lot of media, especially fictional, will be based only in London with some references to other places in the UK like Oxford or Manchester, etc.
I really don't know why people are hating the UK version of worth it. I'm from America and I think this is a good idea for the people who live in the UK. I don't think of this as a replacement to Steven, Andrew, and Adam's series. I think of this as an opportunity for people who live in the UK to try things. It's not our job to say we don't like their videos or the people in the videos. If you don't like it, that's fine. You don't need to spread hate.
The way I see it is that Andrew and Steven have chemistry that these guys do not. In fact, these guys try real hard to be like Andrew and Steven and they fail at it. If they wanted to do a Worth It UK, they should not have tried so hard to imitate the other two and instead, do their own take based on themselves. These two just do not have the same type of chemistry yet they are still trying to copy it. Unless they change this and try to do something different, it will be impossible to separate the two. On top of that, Andrew and Steven are already going to places like Australia and Japan. Pretty soon, they could have their own traveling food show every year.
OrangiChu no one is hating the uk version yo , it's just every one is so used to andrew and steven's personality and character and how they talk about each and every thing in the vid that people are used to them but bc of the sudden change it's bound that not everyone will like the change am i right ?
Kevin Li I feel the UK guys have more chemistry 3 episodes in compared to Andrew and Steven when they were 3 episodes in. Also, worth it started off very awkwardly with Steven and Kieth. Plus, having Joe & Rich constant and a new person every week is great. Personally, I'm enjoying the UK version more than the US one which is surprising because I thought I'd hate it.
IKR I’m from the uk and I still like both of them I mean they’re both the same thing which is a food tasting show and I don’t think the American version could fly over to the uk everyday just for a food show
Waygu beef: cows specifically bred to have amazing marbling throughout their steaks: ~$110 per pound. They grind it, completely ruining the purpose of the beef. 🤦♀️
Probably one of the worst Turkish restaurants out there. Litteraly go down to your local kebab takeaway and it'll be of _very similar_ quality to what you'll get at this overpriced shithole smh
Using wagyu then mincing is like having a Ferrari inside a fiat shell. The marbling is what gives the wagyu it's texture and taste, if you mince it, you may as well just use just normal Angus beef and get it for £25
TheVincenzo800 that's the point, Angus is the fiat(broader decent strain of beef) and the wagyu would be the Ferrari(still beef but a far more expensive but still beef)
I was watching the video and I hear the guy talking about Wagyu meat while seeing images of minced meat and my brains go "using wagyu then mincing is like having a Ferrari inside a fiat shell" and then I went to the comments and I see this guy writing "using wagyu then mincing is like having a Ferrari inside a fiat shell". Absolutely spot on, mate.
I can sort of see how using wagyu for mince can be a good thing though. The best mince has a good balance between fat and meat, and wagyu being already so well-marbled means it achieves that balance very well. Agreed though it really doesn't need it and this does seem a bit of a con-job, where restaurants think they can just use wagyu and therefore justify high prices. Wagyu isn't even all Japanese, it refers increasingly to the breed of cattle that the Japanese originally used, but wagyu can be bred all over the world. Australia produces tons of "wagyu", for instance, and it's brought the price down. It's still more expensive than normal beef, but no longer so much that no one but the richest can eat it. If you press the restaurant hard enough, they may eventually admit their wagyu doesn't even come from Japan.
We're 3 episodes in and I'm totally digging the UK worth it series. I thought it'll be an imitation of what Andrew and Steven achieved but I was so wrong. Rich and Joe bring their own personalities and make the show their own in such a cool way. Good job guys, I'll be looking forward to more and more videos! :)

I don't think that 925 kebab was worth it. I would have priced it more around 200-400 or so. Sure it is really fresh and uses really high quality stuff but I just don't see the 900 in it.
It's not worth 925 at all, for 1) Wagyu is not prepared only in japan but in several countries, just the breed of cattle is originally from japan. Australia produces wagyu in rather large amount which has caused the price of wagyu to go down to the point it's not a luxury of purely the richest. 2) They minced wagyu, At that point you may as well be using something more normal.
Why don’t people undeerstand, they are in the uk ofc they have different people. You can’t expect andrew and steven to be in the uk as well as america. We want andrew and steven ofc, but they ain’t in the uk. This is catered towards the uk audience.
scuffed the original cast is most likely doing something else. There's a nice thing called a spin off, where they can have the same concept, with a different group of people. Its like all the Law and Order or CSI shows. They are spin offs. Grow up and get over it.
So of course the restaurant wants to make margins on it so say your total ingredients want to cost say 400 pounds. That can get you 2 entire fillets of a5 australian wagyu, and if you want kobe, from online they go for around 900 for a 3kg rib. So unless you get a kilo in your kofta then its hardly worth it
It's called Paneer Tikka, in India. I think they combined what kebab means in UK with Paneer, an Indian cheese. It'q quite popular here, but not in a wrap.
"Doner kabob" and "Shish Kabob" are totally different foods. The former is the rotisserie-cooked shwarma/pastor like meat, usually served on laffa bread, not a tortilla. That's what you're talking about eating when you're drunk. The latter is the skewered meat you tried later, which my Persian community usually eats with rice, not bread (or salad). Comparing the two is a little strange.
Chivas Aurora you can have both my friend No matter what the goal of your diet is and no matter what terrible sources of information you’ve been exposed to, the single most important part of every single diet plan is calories. Or, more specifically, your total daily calorie intake. Like I’ve mentioned before, calories are everything. They are the true key to an effective diet plan regardless of any other aspect of it. No other dietary factor influences what your body does anywhere near the level that calories do. In fact, your daily calorie intake is the only diet component that will truly differ or change based on what your goal is. Meaning, once everything else (protein, fat, carbs, etc.) is set to an optimal percentage of your calorie intake, it can all remain set that same way and you’ll still lose fat or build muscle or do whatever else you are trying to do without any problem. The only significant dietary difference between goals is total calories. Like I said, calories are the key. And the reason why calories are so damn important is actually pretty simple once you understand some basic things… Calories In See, everything we eat and drink contains calories. With the exception of obvious stuff like water, all foods and drinks contain some amount of calories and go on to make up our daily calorie intake. Since these are the calories being consumed and therefore taken in by your body, they are commonly referred to as our “calories in.” Calories Out On the other hand, everything we do burns calories. They are what our bodies use for energy to do everything we need to do.

The guest guy/ the Kebab master could make a perfect match for the show if u guys ever intend to bring this back! The way he talks and enjoys the food reminds me of Andrew from the US series!
925 pounds is equal to almost Tk 100000. This amount of money can be used in Bangladesh to buy 5 medium sized Cows. In other words huge amount of money!
It's a lot of money in Bangladesh which is one of the poorest countries in the world because of it's overpopulation it isn't a lot of money in London which is one of the wealthiest cities in the world also cows in Bangladesh prob have foot and mouth disease which whilst not making them ineddible would make them unsellable in the United Kingdom because of the poor quality however I think it's obscene to spend that much money on a meal for one person in the UK when so many people are struggling to feed their families
@@ninelivecat it is still alot of money in London period. No need to look down on the Bangladeshi people. The UK also had mad cows a while back right? If families in UK go hungry then yes its alot of money.
I'm not looking down on anyone I'm stating a fact that it is an overpopulated country that is a long way down the list of wealthiest nations the UK is near the top if you had read my post I mentioned poverty in the UK too just saying Cheers
@@ninelivecat you failed to mention mad cow. And you implied that all the beef is bad in that country. These are the things i take exception to. Cheers
Lily Blackwell You must be the owner. For actual Wagyu (Tajima) from Kobe yes, not just the Wagyu breed. You can get 1 kg of Wagyu ribeye for about $200USD (non-wholesale like a restaurant could) in the states and in that kebab I assume there's about 300g of beef with other fillers and sadly what seems to be the star of the dish was actually the goat. 300g of wagyu with other basic ingredients is pretty lackluster effort to justify the 1000 quid. I'll stick with my 10 quid cart vendors making regular beef or lamb taste heavenly.
It's because chefs all over the world throw expensive stuff together hoping it tastes good... You dont mince wagyu beef. So it's probably because of people being upset about the expensive dish just being expensive ingredients kind of ruined in one ok or pretty good kebap, instead of having the most amyzing wagyu steak, like you're supposed to.
@@mwahhha226 People who can't accept that London is a multi-cultural metropolis (and that's what makes it so great) don't belong or deserve to be there

criticism is essential for channel growth people are complaining because these guys have no connection with the people they are boring and have no charisma.
packerpf But most of the criticism I have seen is based on the fact that Adam, Andrew and Steven aren't in this spin off which is difficult to change. This is in Britain across the Atlantic it's not like it's just a special. I do understand your point I just wish they would stop going on about their absence it's quite annoying.
I agree that criticism is essential but I don't agree with your point that they're boring and don't have charisma - they're very British, they have a very British sense of humour which, being British myself, I really enjoy and find it quite funny. This is aimed at a British audience, we find different things funny, so if you don't enjoy it don't watch it :)
According to my experience as an Armenian, the only thing that resembles kebab in this video is the meat. You would never use a tortilla, you would use pita bread, and even then, that is more of a gyro than a kebab. Not knocking it, its probably delicious.
No it must be you, because for the last I don't know 50 years it's been a President. So I don't think that restaurant in 2017 would have been open over 50-80 years ago. I'm Egyptian you idiot.
Last Egyptian King Fuad II has a son called Prince Mohamed Ali. They still keep the titles and this has nothing to do with Egypt recognising it, it is recognised by the monarchists. Prince Mohamed Ali is currently married to Princess Noal Zaher of Afghanistan and lives in Paris, so very likely to visit London and been to Hazev.

PREACH IT! Finally, there is something that is close to me and everyone gets mad just because they aren't used to it. smh.
I'm apart of the uk audience and i want Andrew and Steven. This feels like when Top gear changed their presenters, far less people like it anymore
Well Andrew and Steven have been in Australia and Japan, why wouldn't they be able to do it in UK as well :(
Meow Last don't forget Adam!
Andrew was there helping but behind the camera I think

They're still annoying middle class twats
scuffed the original cast is most likely doing something else. There's a nice thing called a spin off, where they can have the same concept, with a different group of people. Its like all the Law and Order or CSI shows. They are spin offs. Grow up and get over it.
xoALSox I'm mexican and I love food from other countries
The sound guy is absolutely jokes, he should have his own segment !
The dry British humor is just as good as Andrew and his puns.

Every good show needs great chemistry and I see it with you guys, a genuine friendship between the hosts can only make the show, Good job guys
£925 is a lot for that.
Might be more fancy but the other two are just as satisfying.
The wagyu didnt even look that good imo
Its not even Kobe...the Highest grade Wagyu. In total that dish would cost no one than £30 - 40 to make
So of course the restaurant wants to make margins on it so say your total ingredients want to cost say 400 pounds. That can get you 2 entire fillets of a5 australian wagyu, and if you want kobe, from online they go for around 900 for a 3kg rib. So unless you get a kilo in your kofta then its hardly worth it
its the morel mushrooms
Vegetarian kebab? That's wrong on so many levels
Yes...how dare they?
It's called Paneer Tikka, in India. I think they combined what kebab means in UK with Paneer, an Indian cheese. It'q quite popular here, but not in a wrap.
Nik Scott word
You can use freid eggplant or falafel
Who the f*** is this guy?
"Doner kabob" and "Shish Kabob" are totally different foods. The former is the rotisserie-cooked shwarma/pastor like meat, usually served on laffa bread, not a tortilla. That's what you're talking about eating when you're drunk. The latter is the skewered meat you tried later, which my Persian community usually eats with rice, not bread (or salad). Comparing the two is a little strange.
Why have ABS when you can have kebABS!
Chivas Aurora Tommy Cash
And the reason why calories are so damn important is actually pretty simple once you understand some basic things…
Calories In
See, everything we eat and drink contains calories. With the exception of obvious stuff like water, all foods and drinks contain some amount of calories and go on to make up our daily calorie intake.
Since these are the calories being consumed and therefore taken in by your body, they are commonly referred to as our “calories in.”
Calories Out
On the other hand, everything we do burns calories. They are what our bodies use for energy to do everything we need to do.
I live by that rule

The sound guy’s the best part of the UK edition - get Joe his own show
a web series that shows the rest of the world how expensive food in britain is.
Come to Switzerland and you'll change your mind
Not really, Londons just super expensive
i live in scotland and food here is also crazy expensive
i actually have lived in switzerland for a while. cant say if its more expensive than the uk.
Joe is incredible, I'm genuinely obsessed. The deliver of the jokes is HILARIOUS!!!
"it tastes like mozart" *editor plays delibes*
Yeah, they really know their classical music. Probably got some random recording and Mozart was the only name they knew.
Thank you for naming that beautiful piece!
music came in when they said "classical music" so they played that, fits very nice with the edit too
1. If it doesn't have meat it doesn't qualify
2. Kebabs are not meant to be posh
3. Quick and on the go....that's what the Bab is all about
4. and yes the more pissed you are, the more chili you add
We say in Oz it's the drunken gem that covers all the food groups in 1 easy feast, It's a no brainer
5 pounder wins hands down, great value!
Actually Kabab is meant to be posh.
it was not a common man's food.
Loving this. It's not the same as Steven, Andrew, and Adam, and that's why it's great. It's the same basic idea but different chemistry and fun people.
You know rather than paying 925£ go fly to istanbul and make a reservation on one of the finest kebap restaurants near bosphorus and fly back to england and it will prob be cheaper
*EDIT* I just heard him say we could fly to turkey and come back but thats ture tho
everyone in the comments are so rude, whiny and close-minded. get a grip!!!!
Oh gosh man.... I could buy my grades for that!
Cheers

Pınar TAŞ nope, you’re legit paying for something that looks £20 at max
Looks like a mighty rip off, price point looks like they just pulled it straight out of their bum.
Sad thing is people will still pay pay for it.
wagyu beef is hella expensive of its own
Lily Blackwell
You must be the owner.
"cows listening to classical music and getting massages is more myth than fact" awwww
Why is the like and dislike ratio so bad? Just cause it is different people doesn’t mean to hate lol.
I love that there’s a London version of this channel. Also who else is fasting!

4:54 As a kebab, I've never seen this.
+1
Its not a kebab. Its south asian cheese (paneer) in bread. What a shame?
in india its famous tho just saying
Taste paneer. It's fabulous for vegetarians
Does not anyone realise this is just a spin off. The original Worth It still exists so just enjoy this till the next season of worth it with Steven, Andrew and Adam returns or if you don't then just don't watch this and wait.
criticism is essential for channel growth people are complaining because these guys have no connection with the people they are boring and have no charisma.
packerpf But most of the criticism I have seen is based on the fact that Adam, Andrew and Steven aren't in this spin off which is difficult to change.
Well the last one you guys ate was not worth it. I mean you can eat that kebab in turkey just for £3-2! That reallllllyyy wasn't worth to ate!
Not £3-2 but at most 15£. It was probably quality food and delicious but yes it was not worth it. In Turkey you can eat that plate almost 150-200₺

I knew ur uncle when I I lived there
A pickle.... Sigh loads of chilli sauce salad and garlic sauce
According to my experience as an Armenian, the only thing that resembles kebab in this video is the meat. You would never use a tortilla, you would use pita bread, and even then, that is more of a gyro than a kebab. Not knocking it, its probably delicious.
Or naan bread
As an Armenian I agree
Demented Squid I was shocked when I saw them using tortilla instead of lavash
U don't turn kebap into a expensive dish it’s supposed be classic u don’t just gordon ramsayfie it
Kebap is not a fast food. Turks in europe transformed it into a fast food. Actually it is expensive and fine dining dish in some places in Turkey.
Why is the rum gone? Yeah but these retards made a veggie kebab VEGGIE thats just autistic

There's no such thing as an Egyptian Prince. Someone lied to them lol.
No it must be you, because for the last I don't know 50 years it's been a President. So I don't think that restaurant in 2017 would have been open over 50-80 years ago. I'm Egyptian you idiot.
RnG_killaz 101 yeah, but he wouldn’t introduce himself as a prince, he’d introduce himself as a king. So I’m betting it’s someone bullshitting them.
...she mentioned the actual child of the King Tutankhamun, my friend. That is legendary... .
his name is Kushari !! he knows Egypt better than you all
Last Egyptian King Fuad II has a son called Prince Mohamed Ali. They still keep the titles and this has nothing to do with Egypt recognising it, it is recognised by the monarchists. Prince Mohamed Ali is currently married to Princess Noal Zaher of Afghanistan and lives in Paris, so very likely to visit London and been to Hazev.
These guys are so funny lol. They also interact with their sound/camera men unlike the US verson lol. Love Worth It Us and now I love the UK worth It XD
Classic Brit thing, make the underdog part of the team. Everyone gets a fair share (unless you're posh)
Adam seems to be a shy guy tho.. Idk..
