    I think most American interviewers find it hard to understand Jet Li,Jackie Chan and Bruce Li. But it is nice, to see these legends express themselves the best way they can in American language. They don't let their ego go to their conscience, which is also a very humble way of expressing one's self.

      I know this is an older comment. I just want to add that
      李连杰 should have been able to speak his native Chinese here and in his other interviews and use an interpreter for the interviewer and viewer. He admitted to being horrible with his English. If people want the most out of an interview, with the best answer possible, then let him speak his native language.
      I watch tons of his interviews in Chinese, and he has incredibly deep philosophical answers to questions. He also has a sense of humor. ❤
      李连杰 is intelligent. People should not confuse the inability to speak English fluently with a person's level of intelligence. Or any language for that matter.

    Jet Li is brilliant. I bought Fearless and loved it. I have watched it about 5 times now. I love the message too. Its a strong message about personal development from an ultra competitive person out too prove everything to a person who is content and at peace but still a great martial artist. Well done Jet Li

    Anyway, why isn't this interviewer influenced by Jet's happy mood man? I can't help but smile at the screen when Jet expresses himself. :)

    "According to Li, everything he has ever wanted to tell the world can be found in three of his films: the message of Hero is that the suffering of one person can never be as significant as the suffering of a nation; Unleashed shows that violence is never a solution; and Fearless tells that the biggest enemy of a person is himself. Li thinks that the greatest weapon is a smile and the largest power is love"

    jet li in War was really intense. really really intense! I'm was a jet li fan all my life because of dad but i thought fearless was his last movie because in all his movies he does not die but in this one he died, but i guess not.

  • @Hudathan

    Jet Li is a wonderful personality, Fearless should have been the beginning of a new style of martial art film, not the last of his serious efforts.

    Jet Li movies are cool when he plays a cop, especially a cop out for revenge or a cop trying to retrieve a friend or family member who's been kidnapped, so yeah like a kung fu cop movie, movies like that are totally badass.

    you cant safely compare martial artists. martial arts is a way of life and it is lived how that person wants to live it. they express it in different ways to their own individual personalities and body structures which is what makes martial arts so fantastic in that really it is different but all together the same in held together by some principle.

    Hello Chelle,
    Is that you in the picture? Wow! Nice looking picture...anyway I digress.....I think you hit the nail on the head there - I am from the UK and I have seen so many of Jet's fine pieces of work and He truly is one of the greats. But more than that Chelle, He seems to be so eloquent in the way He expresses himself, don't you think?

  • @LawBreaker05

    some of these old comments are by some really stupid people rofl. jackie chan was a gymnast who learned a bit of martial arts so yea thats the reason why he does comedies. he finds funny ways to fight. and jet li will forever be a better fighter than bruce lee hands down

    • @SharpZVadErZ
      @SharpZVadErZ 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bruce Lee could dodge things extremely fast so i'm not sure if lianje would win but in terms of movie making and acting li will always be the best.

    • @SauravRaj-ib2yo
      @SauravRaj-ib2yo 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Are you stupid? Jackie leared from the same place as Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao, it is the Opera house. He did martial arts for 10 years every day before joining the movies permanently. Do not spread false Rumours, Jackie is not a gymnast (who learned a little martial arts).

    360darius , I suppose one who studies and enjoys what they do, and plans to do it for the rest of their life are true martial artists (whether they're crap or not).
    Though if kitana8 is claiming he's brilliant, then, bit big headed of him, but otherwise he could easily be a true martial artist.
    Though better just to say "I'm a martial artist"
