Almost what I learned to drive in 1968. It was my Grandpa's farm truck. His was red & had the 283 /w a Powerglide. I loved that truck.

What a beautiful car, I love that design. I think that the wheels and tires are too big, but that is just my opinion. My first car was a 1959 black El Camino that I bought in 1964 when I was 17. However, it was not anywhere near as nice this car. My car looked pretty good, but was a mechanical piece of junk. The dealership bought it back when the rear end failed two weeks after I bought it. Upon inspection we found it was full of sawdust and the 3 speed floor shifter conversion was also prone to stick in reverse. I was so disappointed, but glad that I got out of a bad deal.

Those trucks or cars or trucks were so clean and good looking from the factory, my dad had a 59 when I was thirteen years old, first auto I ever drove. Thought it was going to be my high school car, boy was I wrong on that one. Thanks for the excellent video, I am a little boy again looking at that.

Had on of these in 1981. Boy was she fast with a built 283 and 62 4 speed trans. Cost? $400.

Pretty car brother. The thing is as old as I am.....lol. Always loved the look of the 59' Chevy's. Just the right amount of chrome to set it off. The guys did a really nice job on that car. Thank man.

I see a lot of these nowadays with hidden batteries. How do they get these things out of the car? Seems to be a very small opening. Beautiful car, though. Well done.
These builds are all about looks...It is a pain to get to...They usually have extensions somewhere that are easier to get to so you can charge the battery...
That panel that hides the area behind the seat and battery could be held in by velcro.

It called the "concept Dodge Challenger Shakedown Challenger " from what hear it is at the official "FCA Booth" it's a 71 Challenger Matt Black paint, red/gray striped, shaker hood, viper 19'/20' wheels/tires, viper transmission, 392 crate engine, etc..and brother when you see it I truly hope you will have a few minutes to make a video of it. It is one bad ass looking Muscle Car! along with the Dodge Durango Shaker , the Jeep CJ 66, Chrysler Pacifica, & Ram power Wagon Concept vehicles. They should be in the FCA/Dodge booth area

Anything is possible.....I wouldn't recommend that though....
