The Inquisitors where first talked about in the old West End Games RPG from the mid/late 80's. A lot of the canon we know today was from those RPG sourcebooks. Filoni has more than once mined content from there.

I feel like the inquisitors could be a gateway to forming the Rule of One in Star Wars canon which would be a big plus for me because I want more Legacy and Legends things to be apart of canon Star Wars lore it’s like sitting on a gold mine. For those that don’t know what the Rule of One is, it’s that there are allowed to be multiple sith but they all follow under one great Sith Lord, any sith can challenge the great Sith Lord for his position to become that, meaning the sith are always gonna work to become stronger while unified, and the Great Sith Lord will always make sure to stay powerful so he or she doesn’t get dethroned, in Legacy it actually works better than the Rule of Two imo

The Grand Inquisitor looks so stupid in live action. Really wish they made him actually look like his species, which we've already gotten in perfect live action form.
A key part of the grand inquisitors origin is that he was a Jedi temple guard, a different class of Jedi with a yellow lightsaber. The order never let him become a proper Jedi, he never got to read the archives. When Order 66 broke out he betrayed the temple guards and joined the dark side willingly to gain the knowledge he was never given. (it’s also heavily ironic how the weakest inquisitor is the grand inquisitor himself, since he was never a real jedi)
Uh I hate to be that guy but you kinda got it all wrong bro. Yes he was a different class of Jedi but he still was a regular Jedi. Like in order to become a temple guard you first need to be a Jedi knight which means the grand inquisitor was a real Jedi. He was chosen because of his skill in lightsaber combat presumably, meaning he was considered a class above a typical Jedi knight, then fell to the dark side after what happened to Ahsoka and because he wanted to read texts in the archive he didn’t have clearance for as they had Sith stuff in them I think. When order 66 went down he apparently killed the majority of the temple guards by himself, proving he wasn’t weak as some other inquisitors can hardly handle Jedi of average skill (yet he is weak in Rebels for some reason). The grand inquisitor wasn’t the highest ranking Jedi in the inquisitorius tho, that belongs to the Tenth Brother who was a Jedi master prior to his recruitment
Can you do history of the Elementals, Cyclone and Sandman along with Kurt Conners the Lizard, Rhino, Kraven the Hunter, Chameleon, Scorpion and the Human Fly along with Alistair Smythe the Ultimate Spider Slayer, Living_Brain, and Prowler?
I’m just hoping we get to see more classic Spidey villains we haven’t seen in live action during the next Spiderman Trilogy. I want to see the Scorpion done properly. He needs to be genetically enhanced like Spiderman. I don’t want him to just be a normal guy wearing a high tech suit. The Scorpion should be an absolute monster of a threat for Spiderman. The film makers really need to play up on the fact that Scorpions pray upon Spiders in nature so the Scorpion should be extremely menacing. In addition to having Scorpion/Arachnid powers, Mac Gargan needs to have a body suit like Spiderman, prosthetic mechanical tail and all. Hell, they already casted Michael Mando as Mac Gargan so hopefully he makes his return real soon. If they end up doing Rhino again, I also want him to have Super strength and not just be a guy in a mechanical suit like in The Amazing Spiderman 2. Paul Giamatti’s version of the Rhino was terrible. We already know that Kraven the Hunter is coming as well as the Chameleon since they both were introduced during Far From Home. Alistair Smythe and his Spider Slayers would also be fantastic villains for Spidey to face off against and I’m pretty sure the Prowler is a character Sony is actively working on. I always liked the Prowler’s costume design. It would be so Bad Ass to see Spiderman team up with the Prowler.
The gap where they put they're hand is such an obvious weakness in the inquisitor lightsaber I'm genuinely confused why Ahsoka and Vader are the only ones I know of that take advantage of it.
@3:05 I know Obi Wan said that the Inquisitors were former Jedi that joined the empire, but how could a Jedi just switch sides? I thought the dark side would have to consume them like it did with Anakin. Also, he third sister in the 2nd episode of Kenobi tells Obi Wan that Anakin is still alive. How would she know the real identity of Darth Vader? And if the Grand Inquisitor was so 'Grand', why did they kill him off so easily in the show? Because they really made him seem weak. In my opinion, they should have just brought the comic to life, the story telling is show much better then the streaming show.
Grand Inquisitor isn't dead. He's the initial main villain in Rebels, which takes place quite a few years after the Obi Wan show. As for how they easily switch sides, they're mostly just Padawans or dissidents that were already not too loyal to the Republic to begin with. Some also simply join for survival, like the two Inquisitors from the Vader comics who actually tried to save people while pretending to be evil. Or weren't very light sided to begin with. I.e the Grand Inquisitor was actually a Jedi temple guard before the fall of the Republic.
@@ryudhal How did they switch sides? Torture for one. We see this in the flashback scenes in Fallen Order. Palpatine and Vader torture a lot of force sensitives into either joining them in hunting down more Jedi or they end up dying from the torture. Also it's plausible some Inquisitors feel betrayed by the Jedi Order. If the Inquisitors were younglings during Order 66 then not many Jedi knights were at the Temple to protect the younglings and get them out to safety. In their eyes no one came to look for them. Palpatine & Vader would definitely plant seeds in their heads about the younglings' masters abandoning them to die.

Yoda would probably feel awful that younglings and padawans have been tortured and corrupted by the dark side. Both Obi-Wan and Yoda went to their planets in part to exile themselves since they both are the reasons the Empire is in power.
The Darksaber is made of extremely rare materials. Beskar and kyber crystals are extremely rare in the universe and only one group uses each material. Mandalorians and Jedi who by the time of the Empire are both near extinction. In the time of the Empire, Vader and Palpatine traveled to Ilum and other places that had kyber crystals and mined the places clean. Remember the Death Star used kyber crystals in its laser weapon.

IIRC it's also implied most if not all inquisitiors were padawan level by the time of order 66, excluding the GI

100% is worth the watch, there are some episodes that are more kid friendly that don't add a lot to the lore but the series is amazing.
