  • Pipeline is a Mountain Biking/Hiking trail located in Toro Park Salina CA, on your way to Monterey. The trail is full of doubles and drops which can all be easily rode around if you are not interested in doing them, i found many of them to be on to narrow of trail but that just my opinion. The climb is manageable if you are in really good shape, I walked a few portions to conserve energy but i think its a great trail to build your PRs and continually push yourself to go further each ride. I will be taking to time and drive to get back on this trail again, hopefully you enjoy the video Cheers!!!

    Super fun video. I'm debating between a Jeffsy and Capra. How does the Capra climb? I know Jeffsy is really good at it.

    • @ScoutsOut
      @ScoutsOut  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      So far it climbs great man, I’m sure the jeffsey would be a little better at climbing but not sure how much better. Once the covid ends I’m going to try and take a trip to yt in California to try a jeffsey but i still don’t regret the Capra decision at all, let me know which one you go for

      @@ScoutsOut Awesome thanks for the info. I might head down to the San Clemente YT in the coming weeks to try both out (I'm in Long Beach). I know both of them have a 2-3 month delivery delay though which sucks. Keep the videos coming!

    What was the loop you did? Only loop I see on trail forks is Tori Enduro which I don’t think has the pipeline trail on it. Thanks for any help!

    • @ScoutsOut

      Take Park Trail to Ollason Trail. Once you get to the top take Terminal Velocity then Pipeline Connector. Then pipeline which will take you back to Lower Lower then your back on Park Trail. Hope this helps, its so much fun out there!!

      Ride up to Ollasen peak. Then continue down the trail from the summit marker and picnic table and make a left at the bottom to head down the canyon.

      @@ScoutsOut The way u went on ollason isn't the best. you want to go past the "Hill Use low gear sign" and go up the road past the RV's and bathroom for an easier start without stairs. Plus i think the way you went is supposed to be hiker only

    Cool clip!! Took the crew out there and had a blast out there.. I recently took a trip to Ashland Oregon, by my surprise I met the trail builder of the pipe line..he build the JABBERWOCKY trail in mount Ashland and it’s similar to the pipe line but in a bigger version.. nargly as hell.. enjoying your videos.. thanks again! 👍🏽🤙🏽🤟🏽

    I’m about to preorder the same bike but can’t decide between the 27 or 29 I’ve only ridden 26 lol. What made you go with the 27

    • @ScoutsOut
      @ScoutsOut  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Such a hard decision, I haven’t been able to try a 29 for long enough to say what I like better. I chose 27 for the Capra because I wanted a more agile and playful bike, to me going faster is less important. Hope this helps good luck with the new bike

    Such a nice variety of trails you’ve been able to do with your vids. Back in 92-95 I lived SLO and Los Osos, we only had the grade, Madonna, and a couple in Montana D. They look so different now on your vids plus we had full ridged so easy trails now were considered tough. Rode Moto out in pozo also, is that old school bar still on the road to pozo. Aloha bro stay safe 🤙🏻
