    You have explained the difference between logical and physical layer, but in easy terms, if you have shown the number of rows present during logical layer and after join added in the physical layer, it can be understood very easily. This is my opinion. I believe this is the real difference if we need to say in laymen term.

    in Physical tables extract, Stores data using one extract table for each physical table in the data source. what about Logical tables? how they will store? logical table and physical tables store separately and combine in one logical extract table for eachlogical layer?

      In simple terms -
      if you have selected logical table extract then it's check the logical layer ,how many logical table are parents in that many data is stored . Example if two logical table then data is stored in two extracts.
      If physical table extract is selected then it's check the physical layer ,how many tables are present and data is stored in each physical table individually.
