In 1981, I was blessed to purchase my first car at age 16. I was always a fan of Oldsmobile Cutlass, as my Granny had one in the 60's. I was able to save enough for a 1972 Cutlass S with a 350 four barrel and dual exhaust. I have always loved "all things Cutlass" and this one was also a favorite of mine. 77 Cutlasses are a beautiful example of Olds finest vehicles. This one is picture perfect. Lucky fella. Nice video, thanks.
My mom had a ‘74 burgundy 4 door Cutlass Salon with the buckets and all, power. It had the color keyed hubcaps with the matching burgundy thick seats. It was a real beauty.
I worked at a Buick/Oldsmobile dealership in 1976. I was 19. I wanted a new Cutlass Supreme Brougham so bad that I could taste it. But alas, at $2.60 per hour it was only a dream. This one is as well equipped as any that I’ve ever seen. This was an expensive car in its day.
@@Allrobthings.59 The price of new vehicles escalated rapidly beginning in the early 70’s. I remember that the 1979 model year there were 4 significant price increases.
When GM was king!! One of the most beautiful vehicle ever manufacture. It is so sad that General motors lost their way, and started manufacturing garbage and uninspiring designs. 😢
