I would be a bit worried about the fact that this is a obsolete model. Other than the smaller 6" machines, Vermeer only makes drum style chippers. There was a guy where I live that had a tree service, and he had to scrap his 1230s because they would no longer make parts for them.
Pro tip: If you're not mic'd, don't turn away from the camera while talking. If you feel that turning away makes for a better shot, simply get an external mic. A wired handheld or wired lavalier are relatively inexpensive. Obviously, wireless is nicer but can be fussy AND they're a lot more money.
A deal of the century but never says what he paid for it. Maybe retail knowing it works and all the extra suspense for the video, you could've jump started it on site since you had your truck smh!! You did nothing to it but drove 12hrs for a non working chipped??
