    Turn the bronze flower pin that is missing its pin into a pendent...just add a jump ring and a chain...the circle with the chains through it you can add a jump ring into each of the little holes and thread a chain through it

    Sandra, have you had a chance to get your bag of "crafting" jewelry piceces together yet? Video shows that it was 3 months ago. No hurry. Here in Louisiana on the Northshore of Lake Pontchartrain, it's 78, so I'm staying in to craft.

    If you purchased some E6000 the brooch 15:35 could have new pin back glued on. The wishbone could have new pearl glued on. All can be purchased at craft store. For 5 dollars think you got a bunch of cool items!

      I don’t have any tools, I’m not really a fixer upper person - but I should probably learn! The only things I can currently do are change watch batteries, glue in stones (if they are not prong set), and sometimes gently straighten something that’s bent! Fixing is kind of not my thing!

    Hi Sandra! I really like your taste in jewelry and enjoy all of your videos. I would like to start collecting some sort of antique jewelry for men (perhaps signet rings, tie pins, not sure). Do you have any antique maker names that are well known for men's jewelry? Have you sold items that appear to be a popular primarily with men? I am really starting from scratch. I love mid-century modern and avant-garde jewelry, but unfortunately I have nerve damage that makes it super painful for my hands to contact metal; so naturally I am drawn to jewelry. I cannot wear the jewelry but appreciate the artistry. Any advice on where to start my search? Thank you for your time, and happy hunting!

    • @TheFunkyPickleThrifter
      @TheFunkyPickleThrifter  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not really an antique men's jewelry aficionado. Maybe have a look on eBay or Etsy and use the search terms "Mid Century Modern" or "Modernist" Mens Jewelry. I know on eBay, you can go to a mens jewelry category (I think). Not sure how to do it on Etsy. Good luck and happy hunting to you!

    Hello, how do you feel about a gem tester i noticed you using one. Would it be a good investment if i sell jewelry. I bought a cheap diamond tester and it thinks everything is a diamond. Unsure if its not accurate because it was cheap or if gem testers are not reliable.
