Hi Bob! Thanks for a great video! I went to give it a go and it was really fun! 😁 It did some weird transformations, but I tested to add a "Negative prompt:" and added "no weird transformation, no extra limbs, no extra fingers" and so on. I got much better results. So in my case the negative prompt feature works. 😁 Keep up the great work!
Thank you! They got my prompts right about 90% of the time which is incredible. Thanks for sharing your discovery. I'm already a subscriber and I encourage others to get on the train..... Waiting for that vocal harmony website to upload and get harmony options. Keep us informed.
👍🏾👍🏾 I can foresee more companies will be jumping onto this bandwagon, and some of them may be acquired by large corporations such as Amazon and Disney.
Vidu has huge potential, how long before one of the bigger companies swallows it up for the tech? The monkey stopped because it realised the bow was the wrong way around. Who'd have thought, the bird crashing out of the tree looks 100000 times more appealing than the Borderlands trailer!
Funny OPENAI started this with Sora and by the time they release it, others will have perfected it better than OPENAI due to massive public testing and feedback.
To be fair it’s all the same exact base tech with very slight differences. The only difference being the training data in many cases. Just like Suno and Udio are both based on the same Music Gen Models, none of this existed until Stable Diffusion Video came out. And from what I can see most of these sites are just variations on modified versions of these base models. They may have tens of thousands or millions more worth of training data, but ultimately they are almost all the same underlying tech.
I had it make an old figurine of mine smash another, and it broke apart so realistically and consistently. Destructive movements in Vidu really hit hard, especially it seems.
Yes , my favorite was Kling untill i played with Vidu😅 now i use both because we can do things with Vudu that Kling can't do! I find that not writing Prompts on photo do vdo is way better.
I admit the VIdo got a plus over Kling by this Image as caracter reference feature. I did a test from a caracter playing a bass guitar and wow, first AI that created reality conformed bass guitar, no distortion on the instrument, also constant good caracter face consistance. Kling got a BIG competitor there!
Not when you look at the prices. Vidu upscaled comes to 8 credits, and you get 320 om a month. That 40 renders for $10, or 20 cent per generation. As expensive as it gets. Kling gives 180 generations a month free. Hmmm. 180 free generations verses 40 for $10.
Already tested by myself and I can say is the best for sure with Anime! Luma, Runaway and Kling cant do anything decent with anime, but Vidu can actualy animate with great respect of the image you load... Unfortunately I dont agree with the idea "speed and concept matter, resolution is not important". Vidu shows a big defect here, having a low resolution engine,... it's also low-frame per second! You can then "upscale" but is not the same thing... I hope they will improve this point soon or they will lose the "AI video" war ...
👍🏾👍🏾 I'm confident they will soon release a higher resolution version of their service, given the competition they have, as well as provide a more competitive price. I'm excited about what they have cooking next.
It's very expensive though. The standard generation is a tiny 360 p. Igadz, not even 720. So, you have to upscale if you want to use it. 4 credits is now 8 credits. So, you get 10 generations for free. Just 10. And you're done. Kling gives you 66 credits a day free, which is good for 6 renders. That's 180 generations a month compared to a grand total of 10. Want to buy Vidu? $10 will get you 320 credits. Divide that by 8 and you have 40 generations for $10, which is 20 cents a try. Right up there with Runway and Luma for the most expensive on the market. Gotta take that into consideration.
Well, I wouldn't use any credits to upscale. At this point, I don't think the upscaler is worth it. You may just want to wait until the up the resolution. I'm sure they will.
@@BobDoyleMedia That's probably their secret sauce, then. The smaller the image the easier it is to do more animation. Well, I don't know that, but Haiper has two tiers. One is HD, and the other is SD, and SD has more dynamic animation. I'm really finding that Kling gives me phenomenal generations. Even better than Runway and Dream Machine. And at a fraction of the price. Vidu is way to expensive for unusably small output. Just my opinion. Upscalers won't work with that small of content. Upscalers are mostly just sharpeners, unless it's Topaz maybe.
@Bob Doyle Media Vidu is great with hands. try it :) it also can follow fairly specific prompts. though I would like a little more control, like negative prompt and end frame images.
Bob I have been doing a deep dive into your history and work. And I must say I'm impressed! I'm now using the laws of attraction to manifest that you adopt me and become my new dad! Kudos!
The example of the kid on the bike. Is it any way to upload an image of the particular place you would like the kid to ride the bike? Say if I uploaded a pic of my street. Really would be cool if I could upload a video of my street and the kid ride down my street.
Bob Doyle Me... As in your video I am given to options to sign in, so I chose Google and gave my gmail address which is usual, but then they also wany my personal gmail log in pass word which is privy to me only. Why am I expected to you use my private gmail password before I can log in to Vidu. I have never been expected to give my personal gmail password to any one before Usually it's just my gmail address followed by creating a new password.. Please can you explain why Vidu are asking me to do this?
Getting tired of the slow pans and zooms as well, it is so hard to get the AI to do realistic animation. You have to do a lot of re rolls to get anything good so the high cost of generating on theses sites is to much .
LOL y'all really need to stop lying with this stuff. This ai, just like all the other ones, never puts out anything close to the stuff you marketers post. I think it will get there, but anything seen online by pushers is heavily edited. It's never the garble slop these ai's put out.
@@RedDragon-yp3tg simply not true at all. All of those videos I posted anybody could do with the same prompt or starting images. I’ve got no reason to misrepresent this platform. I’m not associated with them in any way.
@@BobDoyleMedia Well I performed tests, like I do with all ai content creation. A youtuber will imput tags, I imput the same ones. Always garble output. Did the same with yours. Attempted each one with same tags you did. Garble. Again, I think ai will get there, but the stuff being shown now is not what was created simply with the ai. There was refinement with other third party software.

Thanks Bob, Love seeing new tools.
Love bringing them to you!
This is great! Thanks for doing all the work on this ❤️
You know I love it.
I've signed up with Kling and overall happy with the results, but like all AI gens you still get a few duffs now an then
maybe for your next batch of tests, you may try comanding the camera instead of comanding the animation.
a great video as always, regards

Anything good that works on Android?

some problems that you have come from short 4s time. Animation has to develop too fast and then it tends to be worse.
