  • In today's video, I show how I created these eye-catching black and gold coasters using resin and a variety of decorations. Black and gold are always a great option for a nicer event, and these are sure to impress. The best thing about these coasters is you can really customize the look to your preference, whether that be more or less glitter, glass, etc.

@@LiaDiaDesigns You're very welcome Nadia. It's not hard to recognize your design style. Amazing and so inspirational to me. I first saw your videos when I searched, "using washi tape in resin art" because I have a boatload of Washi tape and needed ideas. Lol I also watch Julie on Pouring your heart out and she mentioned you as the inspiration in one of her videos when she was trying one of your designs for the first time. You've been doing these gorgeous designs for at least 9 months but I can see this becoming a huge trend in the future. I know I can't wait to try some of your designs and I will for sure use your new Instagram hashtag @LiaDiaInspiredMe. Thank you so much for so many great videos and inspiration.

What is the Pébéo outliner? Acrylic? These are so awesome!

I'm not sure that it's acrylic. The product description only says that it is a water-based specialty paint. Thank you!

The Pebeo brand of artist products has to do mostly with creating stained glass looks on glass or ceramics without having to fire anything in a kiln. They make outliners also that are transparent in a lot of different colors. They have a thick viscosity that makes them hold the shape when you outline things. I first saw them about 9 months ago on LiaDia Designs channel. She is a graphic designer and uses the Pebeo products in a lot of her videos and most of the other products shown in this video, like the DuraClear varnish, washi tape, glass glitter. I think she is the original creator of this type of resin work using these products. She gave me a lot of inspiration just with Washi tape because I have so much of it and wanted other uses for it. You should check out some of her geode inspired coaster designs, even the ones without washi tape are amazing.
