After My Dad Died, My Mom Threw Out All Of His Belongings To Make Room For Her Partner And Forced Me Out, Saying She Didn’t Want "Filth From The Past".
    --------
The original poster (OOP), an 18-year-old male, shares the story of his difficult family situation following the death of his father. His father passed away after battling multiple sclerosis, and shortly after, OOP discovered that his mother had been having a long-term affair with a coworker. Within days of his father's death, OOP’s mother brought her boyfriend into their home, threw out all of his father’s belongings, and forced OOP to leave, saying she didn’t want "filth from the past." OOP was able to stay with his girlfriend and her family temporarily, and he took his father's belongings with him.
When OOP finally went through the boxes, he found his father’s will, which revealed that his father had left the house and all his money to OOP, while his mother only received the car and a vacation property. Armed with this new information, OOP called his father’s lawyer, who confirmed that his mother had no right to evict him from the house. OOP confronted his mother and told her to leave by the end of the week.
Initially, his mother begged and made excuses, claiming she was just trying to move on with her life, but OOP remained firm. However, after reflecting, OOP extended her stay to six months, on the condition that she not contest the will. His mother refused to sign any contract, saying she didn’t trust him, and eventually informed OOP that she would fight the will.
Frustrated, OOP exposed the truth about the house and his mother's lies to her boyfriend, which led to the boyfriend leaving her. His mother was furious, sending OOP angry messages, but he blocked her. Eventually, after an eight-month court battle, OOP won, and the will was validated. His mother had to move out of the house, and the two are no longer in contact. OOP is now in college, supported by his grandparents, and is in a happy relationship with his girlfriend.
Despite the painful journey, OOP feels at peace, knowing he stood up for himself and his father’s legacy.

What is the point of the will if someone can contest it?
I have a very elaborate way so that my will cannot be contested. Every three months, I would update the will, and video record myself reading it out aloud in my lawyer's office. If there isn't a video tape connected with a version of the will, it is not valid.
My lawyer told me that multiple video recordings clearly shows a pattern of intent, which cannot be disputed in court. If someone tries to present a false will, my lawyer can argue against it, and prove this video pattern.
So far, I have recorded over 30 videos. My lawyer has kept every single one of them. I have used the opening line for every video...
"Hello. I am OP. The date is (date). This is my last will and testament. If a will is not attached to a video recording, it is not my final wishes.....'
The dates I say out loud are spaced out every three months. If a false will appear one year after the last recording, looks suspicious, doesn't it? That's the point.

Because this will DOESNT have anything like that, bro wrote it shortly before his death before he had a chance to get it to his lawyer. Of course that can be contested, no proof of validity

I would expose both of them publicly. Putting pictures & information on billboards. I'd make sure everyone know what a cheater she is.

If he inherited a house and all of his fathers money why does he need his grandparents to support him? It does not make total sense to me

Because your name being on a will doesnt necessarily grant immediate access, ESPECIALLY when its not signed by witnesses and a lawyer. OP has to take their mom to court and all that. Which means OP only has access to whatever they had access to before the death. OP has to fight in court to prove validity etc. Especially since the mother is living in the house and usually the default with no will is the spouse of the deceased. So everythings already passed to her since it was assumed no will at death (given no witnesses and no lawyer signature)
