Went to my first FC game last season I come from Belfast and have never been to a ground where I've felt more welcome in my life. I'll be back again this season no matter what league they are in

Glazers was bad enough but i stuck with it having supported MUFC since 1979. Talk of a Saudi Royal family take over might be a bridge too far for me. I can not be proud of a club/corporation with such dirty connections. It's not the premier league, but FC United has its dignity intact. That is worth something. I can hear MUFC in these supporters singing. The MUFC before the mega money oligarch rot set in.

I was a Man Utd fan from 73 went to every FA cup final from 77 - 2007 when half my mates didn’t get tickets - that when it all changed for me. Worked outside OT from 1992-2013
Still a season ticket holder - I call it Alton Towers now there is that many day trippers and divs going now. Still love Man Utd - feel sorry for the lads who watch Premier league football now - They have no idea what football was like in the 70s 80s and even the 90s.

This is what my dad has been saying. He was never going as long as you did but he went home and away and all over Europe and we stopped going the season after fergy left because there no emotion or passion from fans or players there anymore and he said listening to all the songs we sing here bring back all the memories of the good old days. He absolutely loves it and there’s nothing better than seeing him happy.
Michael, I hope that one day when the Glazers are nothing but a bad memory and we have owners who genuinely care about United that the true and genuine fans who left in 2005 will feel that they can come back and support the greatest football club on this planet. I totally get where you're coming from, I too stood on the Stretty as a wee lad and loved every single second. Nothing I've seen since including Rotterdam, Barcelona or Blackburn for our 1st Pl Title can equal being part of Doc's Red Army. FC United seem to have lost momentum in the last few years.
