Hey man, yeah I totally agree. I think the problem is that people think this change isn’t coming when in reality it’s just around the corner! #ThrottleJunkies

@ThrottleJunkiie surely it's better for the environment to keep an older car on the road then chaging cars every 3 years

@ That’s true, but they can make petrol and diesel cars that unaffordable that people can’t run them anymore. The likes of London and Manchester (the centres) are now 99% EVs or people riding bicycles etc because ICE cars have been priced off the road. Once the ULEZ is rolled out nationwide people will either go electric or ditch their cars altogether #ThrottleJunkies

In the more affordable daily driver track car segment, I don't see any EV's right now that would tempt driving enthusiasts away from the likes of supra's, cayman's, and M2's. We'll see how Porsche's EV 718 turns out, but given how horrible the Taycan has been in terms of recalls and depreciation, I won't be the first in line.

You must be balling if you class Supras and M2s as affordable track cars. Fair play my dude 🤙🏻 #ThrottleJunkies

Before this decade is out governments will have reversed position on EVS. And by the end of the century ev's will once again be as popular as Horses

@@ThrottleJunkiie sales numbers do not support your conclusion. They in fact support mine. Sorry pal, yours is the dream. People do not want these things. They do not want vehicles with less range that take hours to charge instead of 5 minutes. They do not like having range anxiety. They do not like losing range because of the cold, the wind, and going up hills. I offer you a race. You pick any EV you like. I'll take a $30k gas car that is five years old. 2 drivers per car. We'll start in LA. Drive to NYC. twelve randomly selected waypoints along the way. I will keep to the speed limit the entire trip. ~3000 miles total trip. It won't even be close. I'll win. If I get a flat tire I'll win. If I get two flat tires I'll still have time to stop at mopar get replacements and win. It won't even be close.
That's just one of a thousand illustrations. Gas is always better. By 2030, every government will publicly back down on this issue. Never going to happen. Race ya!

@ China are dumping them? Where do you get that from? They are building and selling more EVs than every other car manufacturer in the world.

@ As I’ve already covered in my video, EVs are brand new. I’m not expecting this change to happen overnight, but it’s happening. Let’s agree to disagree. This isn’t a who is right who is wrong argument, this is what’s happening. The infrastructure will be built, the car sales will pickup as soon petrol cars won’t be manufactured anymore. These aren’t the dream, these are the facts.
