WoW i played alot of these on the NES or Snes systems.
Romance of the 3 Kingdoms 2 was a standout. It was amazing game but the logistics of controlling 20-40 provinces later on in game made it tedious (you can have the computer take over tho) same with Master of Orion 1 and 2.
Immortal was brutal hard in places. They had rooms with invisible pit traps with no maps, clues or discolouration on the floor it was trial and error. Friend and i mapped it all out one night. Also the combat offered little strategy, we tried everything but the best way was to mash the attack button and block buttons and hope you get lucky lol.
    Great video

      Thanks!
And yeah, many of them older strategies could really use with some late game automation or "assistant" type of service that would take care of the tedious.

Thanks a lot! Still working on improving it. But if you're at the 4th part of DOS series and haven't seen anything newer, then a lot have changed since then. For the better I hope. ;)

Conan! Should have been better! So immersive but the rate of frames hurt us all. Alot of nice looking games here. Still hard on the Amiga in '91 but we all can see a powershift building..... if only they could fix the sound!

I often wonder what could've been if Amiga would not be mismanaged. Perhaps it would stood next to MacOS and Linux as alternatives to Windows...

Big contrast of quality here also on the PC. The simpsons game would have been FIRE! at home. Thanks for a gret doco, Bro.

@@williamwright9079 Yep, it was a surprisingly competent port.

Windows powering all the gaming machines today? Hah, they'd like that.
They still have a dominant position on gaming PCs but it's shrinking faster and faster.
Not to talk about "machines" in general.

The gameplay of Merchant Colony didnt look that exciting ;) A game that I have thought about giving a chance.

Is Duke Nukem as choppy as it looks or is that just emulation?

It may be run on a slower PC, or misconfigured emulation. It was in fact pretty smooth. Not as smooth as let's say Commander Keen, but better than this.
