I'm also suffer from prolonged menstruation. It's never stop one month until two months. I didn't have such a cramp or period pain. I have blood clot on my menstruation. This really freaking me out. Sometimes just a little, sometime it's heavy. I feels anxious, worry... All started when I'm 31. Sometime it's suddenly stop and I stop wearing pad. After that when I go to toilet, I suddenly see the blood on underwear. I was really disappointed. I thought there is something wrong with me. This make me so stress, sad, frightening and anxious. I even don't know when the heck is my ovulation time. I even can't answer the doctor when they ask me about when is my first day period.. I've been married for 7 years and still have no child. I do the best and try to conceive but unfortunately my miss V always bloody hell. So how can I make the baby? For all women in this world who have such a problems, I pray may we found the way that really can solve it. Only women knows. Stay strong♥
More than 5 years ago i had that same problem, too much bleeding, i was ttc but i couldnt, i decided to loose some weight, i lost about 25 lbs and my doctor perscribed me “provera” the next month i found out i was pregnant 💕

Your not the only one. I’m facing that problem now. Take blood test and see the dr even two of them said they don’t know what happens. It’s sad to hear from them and see how they don’t eager to go further to help is hopeless. I ignore mu husband when it comes to sex coz i find digusting with my period. Am on day 16 and my doctor made me feel like I was wasting his time. Saying it can happen . Am like no am 32 and had periods 17 years I no my body they are like clockwork every 28 days lasting 5 days. Now am 16 days in and my last one was 10 days then of for 3 and now am on day 16 so that’s nearly a month .
I've had my period for more than a month now. Sometimes it goes away for 2-3 days and then it comes back, mostly light and brownish. Now I am going to mention that I'm severely underweight and in the course of some months i lost 5 kgs so that might have to do with this irregularity I'm experiencing. Did you try eating plant based? Five years is absurd !! I thought me bleeding for a month - 2 months at a time was bad. I’m at the same point though. Doctors don’t help at all. I’m going to try to change to plant base and see if that helps. Have you had children yet or plan on it? A hysterectomy might be the best option if you don’t plan on having kids or more kids. I was a caregiver for my client who is 65 now but she had a hysterectomy at 24. I’m 23 and she was telling me about it because I was telling her about how sick I get. And I was like yeah I’m not ready for a hysterectomy. I would like to have babies. If you are like me, maybe try plant base. Sometimes it is what we are eating.
Hey was curious if you had an update on this? I got a full hormone panel done. Most everything was normal but I had really high shbg. Not a lot of information on what to do about it. Let me know if you tried anything that was successful.

I've been off of birth control for years. I've always had off periods. Where they last 3-4 days that are light Or 7-8 that are heavy. Now I'm having two week periods. Which is just odd to me. A lot of bleeding and clots. I've constantly having headaches. But my cramps haven't been painful. All my doctor says is I'm overweight. Mira j ok well my period lasted five months that is when we decided to go to the doctor I already had anemia at that point but she prescribed me birth control pills and after four weeks of taking them my period magically stopped I just started my period yesterday and I'm still on my pills but it seems this might work so I suggest you go to the doctor before you get worse anemia then me

Had heavy painful 30-40 day long day periods for a year, went to the doctors and my doc couldn't take my bloods properly and missed my vein 4 times... then moved onto the other arm and kept missing... we didn't even end up getting enough blood so the blood test was useless. Because of corona services have been reduced so I can't take my nexplanon implant out.. I'm stuck with periods that legit leave me bed bound. I started my period at 10 and I'm 16 now until this year I've never experienced abnormal period or irregular one But few months ago I got my period a little faster and it was very light for 5 days but on the 6th day it started to get heavy and when it was my 15th day it still came out heavily my mom recommended me to intake banana flower juice in a raw form (btw it tastes very bad because it's rich in starch and I vomited after drinking it) after drinking it for 3 days my periods stopped and it was normal for the next few months and now the same thing again happened today is my 9th day of period it is heavy as hell that I had to change pads for every 2 hours, I can't even go school and if you are wondering, yes I'm taking the banana flower juice it's hell to be a girl and go through all this and people would still criticise me.

@@jessicacastro7398 i don't know if this'll work for u, but I did some yoga stretches, meditation, boosted up ny vitamin c, and tried to not stress myself. I also drank ginger tea two weeks after my period ended. Also, I heard that contraceptives might help regulating periods.
@@jessicacastro7398 that happened to me last month but it’s usually nothing, monitor it and if the same thing happens the next month then you might wanna go get checked . usually its nothing (from personal experience)

@@cindyhernandez7479 this was 2 years ago and I don't remember it super vividly but I think It ended up stopping on its own soon after I commented this. I'm sure if I had a serious problem or if it lasted a really long amount of time I would've remembered. But I will say, most of my periods are pretty minimal in flow and pain (THANK GOD😭🙏). I'll get faint cramps usually before it starts and I'll be fine after like an hour or two. it's pretty rare whenever I do get severe pains. So if you usually have bad cramps but it doesn't hurt all that much now and ur still bleeding maybe u should see a gynecologist. I know this reply is a little late though so I hope it already stopped for you and that you're all good now!!🫶

I have a similar situation, I had my tubes tied after having my triplets through c section in February 2018. My period came two weeks late in December of last year. I noticed I have been bleeding large blood clots, heavy flow and heavy flow in urine. My cramps has been driving me insane and I have change pads whenever I have a restroom break. I’m guessing it’s a sign of menopause since I’ll be 41 in June. I’m also thinking it’s Menorrhagia. I plan to go to the emergency room soon since our local gynecologist offices are booked until April and May.

Whenever I have a heavy period,I sleep with 2 layers of pads because I don't wanna change my pad in the middle of the night or make my bedsheet dark red also I usually change positions while sleeping so that it doesn't bleed out and here's something my mom told me when I first got my period:never sleep on your back with a heavy flow or on your stomach because it can go either up or down and that can leave a big red stain

Connella Paris hey! Um, the main reason for what happened is that in the beginning of getting periods, they’re really irregular. However! Luckily, it won’t stay this way forever. Although my periods are still irregular they are not as long and far more manageable now. Hopefully, the same will be the case for you. You can get through this! I’m rooting for you!

kunu it should stop naturally, as far as I’m aware! I’m not a health professional in any way shape or form, but this is fairly normal for first starting periods! Over time they should become far more regular and consistent. I would not advise talking to a doctor about it as it is normal for someone when starting the menstruation cycle. Just make sure to get the appropriate period products for your heavier flow and you should by just fine! Hope it all goes well!

Well I woke up in the middle of the night at 5:00 and I HADDDD TO wake up when my period was happening. And then I woke up in the morning and I had a stain on my bed even though I was wearing an extra long pad.. and I bled through my swimming suit yesterday! Helppp!
@@clemensiaauxellium2385 I've had this for a few years, and when i told my mom when i used to live at home she was like 'yeah it happens when your that age' and didnt take me to the doc. It was probably also my fault because i wasn't insistent about getting it checked out. I don't think you should be scared to go to the doctors, it's always best to figure out what's wrong so you can get treatment. I'm planning on going when i have some time off of uni work. I'd strongly encourage you to go too, so u can be comfortable.
Ladies, I am seeing many of you comment about how long your periods last and how heavy they are. I highly suggest you go see a doctor because I am going through the same thing. I have been bleeding since March 2020 and it's already December. I have had an ultrasound, a biopsy, I have been put on different types of birth control and I still continue to bleed. Sometimes it will be heavy and other times it will be light and I use liners. Right now I am using liners because I will be spotting but it doesn't completely go away. I'm on the IUD right now so I am hoping that in a few months it will work on stopping my bleeding. The ultrasound showed fibroids. It's very very frustrating to be bleeding every single day since March to December but I am taking it day-by-day and just hoping that my bleeding will someday stop. Please go see a doctor ladies. Who knows…Your issues will probably be easier to fix than mine.
My doctor did nothing to look into the reason my periods had been horrible since I started at 9 years old. Over time they got worse to the point where I would miss work and it would interfere in my daily life. I suffered in silence for years after being dismissed. My doctor just pushed birth control on me which did not agree with me and I got super sick on hormonal BC. I recently got my uterine tubes removed by a different doctor who actually ended up finding A MASS (very large fibroid) on my uterus that had been there for years. She said she had never seen a fibroid the shape mine is. She's confident it is the cause of my heavy/ painful periods. I'm scheduled to get the mass removed. Glad I went around my primary doctor and found someone else~!
Oh wow that's a long time to be bleeding. You may be suffering from iron deficiency. They didn't give u a iron pill or something to slow the bleeding? I got that a few years ago when I was having abnormal bleeding and it wouldn't stop and I became worried. I was traveling alot on the road with my ex then but we went to the hospital up in New Jersey and they gave me a iron pill. And after that the bleeding stopped. And they did a sonogram on my reproductive organs and they said everything was good or fine. No masses, or cysts it was nothing to report. They said since I didnt have my period from the last month my uterus held onto the lining that u shed every month, my uterus held onto it and that was the reason why I was bleeding like that. And now I feel I'm experiencing the same problem again. I skipped a month i didn't bleed in December i got a period on new years day and i been bleeding for 9 days now. I'm still deciding rather i wanna go to the hospital because i dont have no insurance and i dont wanna be billed either. Smh I'm so sorry u been bleeding that long I hope u stop bleeding soon that is a scary thing. Your not alone u have my prayers 🙏
@@leahchalmers2211 Yes it is very frustrating that my bleeding doesn't stop. It is now Jan 2021 and guess what.. still bleeding. It's sad to say that I've got used to it, everyday I expect to bleed, I'm buying pads and liners every couple weeks. But anyway, yes I am a little anemic and I do take iron pills. I'll admit, I'm supposed to be taking them 2x a day but I don't. They make me nauseous or I'm just lazy to take them or I forget.
11 months after I was born once my mum got her period back, every 30 minutes she had to change her pad/tampon. She told me that she had to get surgery and now she has no blood or spotting on her periods. My periods were and sometimes still are way too heavy and frequent. When I was 14 I got a very heavy and long period. It was causing me to breathe through my clothing, and I even had to wear diapers, and I bled through those. I tried several different methods of birth control just to control it. No doctor can give me a definitive answer and then me and actually is enough that it causes anemia
I gained a lot of weight recently and noticed this before when I was slimmer I use to have my period for 3 to 4 days now I’m 32 this year and since the weight gain I’m bleeding a lot and my period is going on for 8 to 12 days then it will stop and start again 1 week later. I’m stressing about this issue because, I’m not married yet and don’t have kids yet. God willing I would like to get married and have a family. I’m scared this issue will affect my chances??? I decided to take matters into my own hands and lose weight. Hopefully god willing this will help.
@@lyricslove3911 hi dear. I have had my check up with an OB last sept. Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with PCOS, I did medication and the bleeding had stopped. I had my period again this month and it stopped after 4days. (Thankfully) I suggest getting yourself check. It's better to get proper medication now than later. 😊😊
I’m bleeding like someone slaughtered an animal. It’s 10 days now. Last year it was three weeks. I’m on a holiday and extremely embarrassed. The sheets and towels 😭😭😭. I hate tampons but I use them now and still put an always in my underwear to prevent leaking.
The Pet Shed Don't be scared. It can happen. I've had my period for 6months before and right now I've had it since September. There a many reasons this can happen and most are really not scary at all! Go to your Dr. and he'll help you. Try a naturopathic if you can. Eat healthy and get some exercise and you'll be just fine!

Ive already experienced that. Don't be scared and avoid thinking negative thoughts it will just give you stress that may cause a bad effect on your body and it would be much dangerous to your health. My period starts at 9th day then ended up in 24th! Its been 15 days before my period last. I didnt overthink I just relax myself. But if your period is still there in almost a month then yo should see your doctor. Cause maybe theres something wrong on your reproductive organ.

@@Ruby94738 i ended up having mine for 18 days. it was terrible. i went to the hospital and got medication and tests and nothing was wrong, they just figured that it was imbalanced hormones. i got medication that i took for a couple of days and ever since then its been light and only lasting 3-5 days.

I'm also suffer from prolonged menstruation. It's never stop one month until two months. I didn't have such a cramp or period pain. I have blood clot on my menstruation. This really freaking me out. Sometimes just a little, sometime it's heavy. I feels anxious, worry... All started when I'm 31. Sometime it's suddenly stop and I stop wearing pad. After that when I go to toilet, I suddenly see the blood on underwear. I was really disappointed. I thought there is something wrong with me. This make me so stress, sad, frightening and anxious. I even don't know when the heck is my ovulation time. I even can't answer the doctor when they ask me about when is my first day period.. I've been married for 7 years and still have no child. I do the best and try to conceive but unfortunately my miss V always bloody hell. So how can I make the baby? For all women in this world who have such a problems, I pray may we found the way that really can solve it. Only women knows. Stay strong♥

Your not the only one. I’m facing that problem now. Take blood test and see the dr even two of them said they don’t know what happens. It’s sad to hear from them and see how they don’t eager to go further to help is hopeless. I ignore mu husband when it comes to sex coz i find digusting with my period. Am on day 16 and my doctor made me feel like I was wasting his time. Saying it can happen . Am like no am 32 and had periods 17 years I no my body they are like clockwork every 28 days lasting 5 days. I've had my period for more than a month now. Sometimes it goes away for 2-3 days and then it comes back, mostly light and brownish. Now I am going to mention that I'm severely underweight and in the course of some months i lost 5 kgs so that might have to do with this irregularity I'm experiencing. I’ve had my period for almost 5 years. With massive clots that are sometimes bigger than my fists. I’ve had surgeries and been to specialists that write literal textbooks about women’s health and they can’t help me. I’m at a loss and I just want it to end.
Did you try eating plant based? Five years is absurd !! I thought me bleeding for a month - 2 months at a time was bad. I’m at the same point though. Doctors don’t help at all. I’m going to try to change to plant base and see if that helps.
Have you had children yet or plan on it? A hysterectomy might be the best option if you don’t plan on having kids or more kids. I was a caregiver for my client who is 65 now but she had a hysterectomy at 24. I’m 23 and she was telling me about it because I was telling her about how sick I get. And I was like yeah I’m not ready for a hysterectomy. I would like to have babies. If you are like me, maybe try plant base. Sometimes it is what we are eating.

I've been having my period since 50 days now, the doctor said I'm overweight and I need to lose weight, he said that's the only way to stop it naturally, he said something about hormones. Had heavy painful 30-40 day long day periods for a year, went to the doctors and my doc couldn't take my bloods properly and missed my vein 4 times... then moved onto the other arm and kept missing... we didn't even end up getting enough blood so the blood test was useless. Because of corona services have been reduced so I can't take my nexplanon implant out.. I'm stuck with periods that legit leave me bed bound. They have no clue why I am having issues, I have had nexplanon for a year and a half before I started having these issues. Sharing because I feel so overwhelmed, has anyone had a similar experience?

I started my period at 10 and I'm 16 now until this year I've never experienced abnormal period or irregular one
But few months ago I got my period a little faster and it was very light for 5 days but on the 6th day it started to get heavy and when it was my 15th day it still came out heavily my mom recommended me to intake banana flower juice in a raw form (btw it tastes very bad because it's rich in starch and I vomited after drinking it) after drinking it for 3 days my periods stopped and it was normal for the next few months and now the same thing again happened today is my 9th day of period it is heavy as hell that I had to change pads for every 2 hours, I can't even go school and if you are wondering, yes I'm taking the banana flower juice it's hell to be a girl and go through all this and people would still criticise me.

@@jessicacastro7398 i don't know if this'll work for u, but I did some yoga stretches, meditation, boosted up ny vitamin c, and tried to not stress myself. I also drank ginger tea two weeks after my period ended. Also, I heard that contraceptives might help regulating periods.

@@cindyhernandez7479 this was 2 years ago and I don't remember it super vividly but I think It ended up stopping on its own soon after I commented this. I'm sure if I had a serious problem or if it lasted a really long amount of time I would've remembered. But I will say, most of my periods are pretty minimal in flow and pain (THANK GOD😭🙏). I'll get faint cramps usually before it starts and I'll be fine after like an hour or two. it's pretty rare whenever I do get severe pains. So if you usually have bad cramps but it doesn't hurt all that much now and ur still bleeding maybe u should see a gynecologist. I know this reply is a little late though so I hope it already stopped for you and that you're all good now!!🫶

I have a similar situation, I had my tubes tied after having my triplets through c section in February 2018. My period came two weeks late in December of last year. I noticed I have been bleeding large blood clots, heavy flow and heavy flow in urine. My cramps has been driving me insane and I have change pads whenever I have a restroom break. I’m guessing it’s a sign of menopause since I’ll be 41 in June. I’m also thinking it’s Menorrhagia. I plan to go to the emergency room soon since our local gynecologist offices are booked until April and May.

Whenever I have a heavy period,I sleep with 2 layers of pads because I don't wanna change my pad in the middle of the night or make my bedsheet dark red also I usually change positions while sleeping so that it doesn't bleed out and here's something my mom told me when I first got my period:never sleep on your back with a heavy flow or on your stomach because it can go either up or down and that can leave a big red stain

Connella Paris hey! Um, the main reason for what happened is that in the beginning of getting periods, they’re really irregular. However! Luckily, it won’t stay this way forever. Although my periods are still irregular they are not as long and far more manageable now. Hopefully, the same will be the case for you. You can get through this! I’m rooting for you!

kunu it should stop naturally, as far as I’m aware! I’m not a health professional in any way shape or form, but this is fairly normal for first starting periods! Over time they should become far more regular and consistent. I would not advise talking to a doctor about it as it is normal for someone when starting the menstruation cycle. Just make sure to get the appropriate period products for your heavier flow and you should by just fine! Hope it all goes well!

I am on my 6th period. It is coming to and end (SO DAMN HAPPY 🙄) The first period I find is always the worst, as it is new to you’re body, so do not worry, if anything unusual though (things mentioned in the video) please get some help. Other than that, no need to worry and just push through 👌🏽

Well I woke up in the middle of the night at 5:00 and I HADDDD TO wake up when my period was happening. And then I woke up in the morning and I had a stain on my bed even though I was wearing an extra long pad.. and I bled through my swimming suit yesterday! Helppp!

@@clemensiaauxellium2385 I've had this for a few years, and when i told my mom when i used to live at home she was like 'yeah it happens when your that age' and didnt take me to the doc. It was probably also my fault because i wasn't insistent about getting it checked out. I don't think you should be scared to go to the doctors, it's always best to figure out what's wrong so you can get treatment. I'm planning on going when i have some time off of uni work. I'd strongly encourage you to go too, so u can be comfortable.

Ladies, I am seeing many of you comment about how long your periods last and how heavy they are. I highly suggest you go see a doctor because I am going through the same thing. I have been bleeding since March 2020 and it's already December. I have had an ultrasound, a biopsy, I have been put on different types of birth control and I still continue to bleed. Sometimes it will be heavy and other times it will be light and I use liners. Right now I am using liners because I will be spotting but it doesn't completely go away. I'm on the IUD right now so I am hoping that in a few months it will work on stopping my bleeding. The ultrasound showed fibroids. It's very very frustrating to be bleeding every single day since March to December but I am taking it day-by-day and just hoping that my bleeding will someday stop. Please go see a doctor ladies. Who knows…Your issues will probably be easier to fix than mine.
My doctor did nothing to look into the reason my periods had been horrible since I started at 9 years old. Over time they got worse to the point where I would miss work and it would interfere in my daily life. I suffered in silence for years after being dismissed. My doctor just pushed birth control on me which did not agree with me and I got super sick on hormonal BC. I recently got my uterine tubes removed by a different doctor who actually ended up finding A MASS (very large fibroid) on my uterus that had been there for years. She said she had never seen a fibroid the shape mine is. She's confident it is the cause of my heavy/ painful periods. I'm scheduled to get the mass removed. Glad I went around my primary doctor and found someone else~!

Oh wow that's a long time to be bleeding. You may be suffering from iron deficiency. They didn't give u a iron pill or something to slow the bleeding? I got that a few years ago when I was having abnormal bleeding and it wouldn't stop and I became worried. I was traveling alot on the road with my ex then but we went to the hospital up in New Jersey and they gave me a iron pill. And after that the bleeding stopped. And they did a sonogram on my reproductive organs and they said everything was good or fine. No masses, or cysts it was nothing to report. They said since I didnt have my period from the last month my uterus held onto the lining that u shed every month, my uterus held onto it and that was the reason why I was bleeding like that. And now I feel I'm experiencing the same problem again. I skipped a month i didn't bleed in December i got a period on new years day and i been bleeding for 9 days now. I'm still deciding rather i wanna go to the hospital because i dont have no insurance and i dont wanna be billed either. Smh I'm so sorry u been bleeding that long I hope u stop bleeding soon that is a scary thing. Your not alone u have my prayers 🙏
@@leahchalmers2211 Yes it is very frustrating that my bleeding doesn't stop. It is now Jan 2021 and guess what.. still bleeding. It's sad to say that I've got used to it, everyday I expect to bleed, I'm buying pads and liners every couple weeks. But anyway, yes I am a little anemic and I do take iron pills. I'll admit, I'm supposed to be taking them 2x a day but I don't. They make me nauseous or I'm just lazy to take them or I forget.

11 months after I was born once my mum got her period back, every 30 minutes she had to change her pad/tampon. She told me that she had to get surgery and now she has no blood or spotting on her periods. I’ve bleed straight for 10 days I was timid cuz it ain’t stopping but gradually it stopped on my 10th day actually my periods r only for max 5 or 6 day not more than this everytime i got em (I’m 15) so I was just worryin’ I literally used soo many pads tho as it was bleeding heavily fr i was exhausted n anxious but now I’m so happy:)

I got my first period and I was happy but day by day I started to worry because it was still there after a week. Mine lasted 23 days☹️ and there is still little blood.

@@yenalapag2971I stop having it on the 23rd-24th day but after that I didn’t have my period for another month then I had it for 18 days but ever since then I never had it again :( that is when I was 14 now I’m 15 and I still don’t have. I never did anything to stop it, I think drinking more water might help but I don’t know.
Periods are the worst. I know from my experiences as a teenage girl.
My periods were and sometimes still are way too heavy and frequent. When I was 14 I got a very heavy and long period. It was causing me to breathe through my clothing, and I even had to wear diapers, and I bled through those. I tried several different methods of birth control just to control it.
No doctor can give me a definitive answer and then me and actually is enough that it causes anemia
I gained a lot of weight recently and noticed this before when I was slimmer I use to have my period for 3 to 4 days now I’m 32 this year and since the weight gain I’m bleeding a lot and my period is going on for 8 to 12 days then it will stop and start again 1 week later. I’m stressing about this issue because, I’m not married yet and don’t have kids yet. God willing I would like to get married and have a family. I’m scared this issue will affect my chances??? I decided to take matters into my own hands and lose weight. Hopefully god willing this will help.

@@lyricslove3911 hi dear. I have had my check up with an OB last sept. Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with PCOS, I did medication and the bleeding had stopped. I had my period again this month and it stopped after 4days. (Thankfully) I suggest getting yourself check. It's better to get proper medication now than later. 😊😊

I’m bleeding like someone slaughtered an animal. It’s 10 days now. Last year it was three weeks. I’m on a holiday and extremely embarrassed. The sheets and towels 😭😭😭. I hate tampons but I use them now and still put an always in my underwear to prevent leaking.

The Pet Shed Don't be scared. It can happen. I've had my period for 6months before and right now I've had it since September. There a many reasons this can happen and most are really not scary at all! Go to your Dr. and he'll help you. Try a naturopathic if you can. Eat healthy and get some exercise and you'll be just fine!

Ive already experienced that. Don't be scared and avoid thinking negative thoughts it will just give you stress that may cause a bad effect on your body and it would be much dangerous to your health. My period starts at 9th day then ended up in 24th! Its been 15 days before my period last. I didnt overthink I just relax myself. But if your period is still there in almost a month then yo should see your doctor. Cause maybe theres something wrong on your reproductive organ.

@@Ruby94738 i ended up having mine for 18 days. it was terrible. i went to the hospital and got medication and tests and nothing was wrong, they just figured that it was imbalanced hormones. i got medication that i took for a couple of days and ever since then its been light and only lasting 3-5 days.
ive been on my period for nearly 3 months and apparently its not normal as im on the contraceptive injection but my bloating is really bad and every time i bloat i think im pregnant but i know im not and i dont know why i keep scaring myself
Today my period is currently 38 days. No cramps no other symptoms apart from acne I’m about to see a doctor. I really hope nothing is wrong with me. 🤞🏾
