William was never in the army, but at the last minute he was made Colonel In Chief of an Army regiment, and he ended up wearing its uniform to his wedding. His comrades in the RAF where not pleased, but he did wear a sash with his RAF wings on it.
@politelypompous He's Royal Honorary Colonel or Colonel-in-Chief for that regiment and because that he wore the uniform.(IMO The uniform suits very good to him :D ). I think also Princess Anne never been in military, but nobody seems to have a problem with her wearing military uniform!!!

Its pathetic and a slap in the face to all service men and woman that he wears all those medals etc. There is nothing to stop him getting a job. I resent every penny in tax I pay to keep him and other minor royals in luxury. Its time it was slimmed down which is what I think Charles is planning when he is King and about time to.
