I can see why she has won the favor of the queen. This lady has not put a foot wrong in public, always elegantly attired with a charming demeanor. She shines with ease.
"has not put a foot wrong in public" not quite true...Edward and Sophie weren't always living a low-key public life. They didn't escape scandal or bad publicity and plenty of it!!!
Sophie's quiet and discreet now but problems arose years ago, when she tried to combine her life as a royal with her professional career.
In the early years of her marriage to Edward, the News of the World exposed Sophie for exploiting her Royal connections to promote her PR company. The fake Arab Sheikh incident, where she was recorded insulting members of the BRF and MPs, calling the Queen "old dear" and said the public wanted to make her "the new Diana".
She had to send out several letters of apology to Charles, then PM - Tony Blair and to others.
The royal family were reportedly furious over “Sophie tapes” and the media wanted Sophie to give up her royal title.
Everyone makes mistakes when they first start, that's how people learn she apologised and has moved on
@@mariaivanoff7955 I agree but the best thing that happened with Edward and Sophie, was when they announced that they would be quitting their businesses to become full-time Royals in 2002. No more scandals after that.

One thing about Countess Sophie is that she has a stunning figure. She could beat out many famous celebrities. I couldn't decide which outfit looked the best on her, but she looks dynamite in black, cobalt blue, and one-shoulder styles. Lucky woman! :)

Wow Sophia is so classy, and so pretty. She and the Queen plus Kate get along great. She helped Kate and now Kate helps Meghan. Meghan can learn how to dress in public for public affairs cause I see that Meghan is sometime confused and dresses like she is going on the Red Carpet of Hollywood where women show a lot of their chest. There was a green flower dress Meghan had on that was so low and not proper...for Hollywood that would not low enough but in London it was.
