Moby is pointing at drummer Don Stevenson when he's talking about 'Skip Spence' and 'the singer'. Spence is standing over Stevenson's left shoulder, sporting a goatee. After a short initial print run the offending finger was airbrushed out by the record company, only being restated in recent yers on reissues. The flag behind Spence also underwent changes. Originally the Stars & Strips, it was change to red, then to black...then along with the finger it was reinstated to its original state in the re-release. Moby Grape were a great band. Killer drummer and bassist, three guitars, and everyone in the band sang, so great harmonies and a variety of lead vocals. That first album is a classic.
Journey through the past is great if you like watching a film made by a very stoned neil young featuring a lot of his stoned mates and weirdly an 11 year old kid or something who if i can recall is the receptionist in a radio station. Stephen Stills thinks hes being deep but hes just tripping his nads off. It was part of the archives 1 dvd release.
Time to out hipster Moby (impossible!) the Moby Grape album, and Alexander Skip Spence. He tried to kill the other members with an ax, then put out a great album. Check out the song "Little Hands" pairs well with Cody Chesnutt
I might be wrong, but I think evironmentaly speaking, buying records is much better than downloading music. Once a record is made it stops emitting CO2, except when you listen to it, whereas to download music you need huge servers that need a lot of energy and create a shitload of pollution.

Never knew the story of his nickname! Very cool!
Neil Young: Simple vulnerable & timeless.

If Moby says Wally Badarou, who produced Level 42/Tom Tom Club and has wicked solo work, is on the MF record, it has to be good.
He speaks like he's absolutely uninfluenced by his fame :) like he's talking to a friend :)
для меня 'moby' всегда видится и слышится в голове как анаграмма 'my boy') почему-то..

If we worry about eviro we wont do anything in the world !
Kris Kristofferson was more of a talk-singer.

yeah but when you buy the album you create a demand for creating more albums.
