Wow. The audio of the kids breaks your heart. Oh my gosh. Why no one would go and comfort them and tell them everything is ok. I pray they felt awful for it and what if it were their kids. Trauma for real and they should have paid for the counseling. Goodness. 🤗💕 Love y’all even more.

Just found your channel! This was a great story for ME, but not for you both. I am so sorry for both of these incidents. I will say you guys look very comfortable in the area your in now. Thanks again for this story.
Hearing the terror in your children’s screams just broke me. Then hearing Kaden comforting them, broke and warmed my heart at the same time. That must have made you so proud and I’m sure you told him so. I’m so sorry that you and your family had to go through that but you two tell a great story. The respect you show each other and your children feels real and I admire that. Keep doing you and I’m sure your channel will continue to grow ❤❤❤
Just think about how awful it could have been if you had sold your car to another family and they had been pulled over! I’m so glad you were able to get everything straightened out. Shame on your county law enforcement personnel for not correcting the record and for not apologizing. Best wishes 🌸
Same here. To top that off the horror in the childrens voices and screams the cops only gave them 1 bear. I don't know what these cops were thinking but 5 cop cars and no one else had 2 more bears? 🤔 I would be making the state of Kansas pay the bill for therapy from the trauma the children are going to have for life.
@@papabear9481 Not sure why you ask if it was sarcasm. I know when I had to deal with the state patrol in Arkansas he gave my 2 children a bear each. 1 child was 6 the other was 3. They did not have to share a bear. As for the trauma the kids are going to have for a long time if not for life the state should compensate the damage caused by not doing a better investigation before holding this family at gun point. I worked in law enforcement and the woman who told the story is right. They do not investigate things anymore. The system has become so corrupt to we the people are the enemy/criminals until proven different. Sad very sad.
I’m so sorry you went through this! My car was stolen while I was on vacation. Then the idiot then broke into my house. I understand the feelings left behind from the violation. BUT!!! This was one of the best true crime stories ever! I really enjoyed how you told your story! What a firecracker you are Steph! Lol
When you said you reported your car stolen, I pretty much knew what would happen in Kansas. Cops not promptly removing recovered cars from the database is far to common. I feel so bad for your kids.
Thank God we don't have guns over here. Awe Steph and Buddy, I'm so sorry you had to go through this. The audio was heartbreaking 😢 Much ❤ from Scotland 🏴
It’s not Kansas…just definitely has been traumatic… I felt that way with south central Ohio. Camping and thunderstorms and suspected tornado, not once but 3 different visits at state parks. Lightning started fires in the campground. Time 2, was trailers were upside down and 2 fatalities (we heard from ranger). The third time we got invaded by skunks (Michigan has bottle deposits for returning..so they were drawn in by cans). The next day we were flooded in the tent and had to leave. 🤦♀️ Not to mention our AC cover got ripped off and we got gas and had to drop gas tank on the 30’ RV because it was contaminated and cleaned out. Spent the night in a hotel. Yeah I get it 😂
Thank you for sharing such a personal and traumatic experience with us. That is a lot to unpack. My heart broke listening to the children. What a good big brother reassuring his little sister! Buddy, thank God you remained calm. Scary business. What an amazing team you are (and what great detectives)!
OMG what a horrendous experience for you all to go through and all down to 1 person not removing the stolen marker on Stephs car. Cayden was so mature in trying to calm Connor and Elora when he was probably just as terrified and confused.
My heart breaks for the kids, their terrified voices make me cry for them. How awful, I hope they can continue to recover from this! I'm with you Steph and I would never set foot in Kansas again. It would not be anything against the people of Kansas but some places are just bad luck to some of us and there is no need to test the waters! I hope you and buddy have recovered from the trauma as well! ❤️
😳 Your poor children!! Thank you for sharing such a difficult time in your life. I don't think there is a way to replace that memory except to recognize how brave you all are and how well you handled yourselves. Also, you two make such a great team.
You never NEVER leave a weapon in your car. I don't care if you live 12,000 miles from nowhere... You never leave a weapon in your car. Go ahead haters, I can take it. You don't leave a weapon in a car!
Omg! Steph and Buddy, I'm only at the part where your babes are crying out for you both, and it heart wrenching, it trigger my momma instincts immediately and I'm balling for those sweet children! Cayden being the big bro, and trying to calm them made it even more heartbreaking, but also so amazingly brave and strong for his younger siblings. I could NOT imagine my baby screaming out for me, and to not be able to go to them! Ugh! Much love to you all! 💞
I can't even imagine what you two went through and your children. Your story and the children screaming made me cry , I knew as soon as you said you got pulled over what was happening . I can't imagine being a child and having this happen to me . Thinking my parents are going to get shot or taken away. I pray your children and you all heal from these traumatic events that should of NEVER happened . I would never look at you any different because I would of been the same way as you .
1st Stephanie saying her kids are in the car and the fear in her voice had me tear up. 2nd when Cayden was being an amazing big brother had me bawling. Sorry this happened to you in my home state. 🌻
Wow-wee! I was crying for the kids as well. And God bless Cayden for remaining calm like his dad and helping the kids. I could see Steph being a momma bear type and Buddy staying calm.( That doesn't mean he's not wanting to be a papa bear and rip your lungs out, though.) It's always the quiet ones you never take your eyes off.😊
I'm so sorry that happened to you. That's terrible to happen to anyone. They should have settled that immediately just by looking at your ID. You probably could have sued Liberty County for not making the corrections, and this never would have happened. Thank God you came out of this.
I was thinking the same thing…with that many cops on hand in Kansas…checking Steph & Buddy’s ID & running a check could have avoided all their trauma! And suing Liberty County &/or the negligent officer for not removing the BOLO (which could have saved so much anguish not to mention taxpayers $$$ for this fiasco) would have been entirely appropriate! I’m sure the perps are back out on the street too! 😫
I worked with a woman who had a similar experience. Car stolen, recovered, and returned. Later, she was pulled over by armed police because her car was not removed from their hot list. At least she didn't have her kids with her.
Omg, hearing the kids broke my heart. Cayden was so awesome keeping everyone calm, but holy crap! I cannot imagine how terrifying that must have been. You’re going to need a vacation to recover from your vacation. So thankful you’re all safe, sheesh!
Wow! Two traumatic experiences because of one horrible person. That extremely scary experience in Kansas was all because of the woman who stole your car. Just listening to your babies screaming and crying in the car was so so hard to listen to. They must have been terrified. How heartbreaking. No wonder you have PTSD about going into Kansas, anyone would if that all happened to them. So glad tho that everything turned out good in the end.
Hi Buddy and Stephanie. What a traumatic experience. Your poor kids were terrified. Not to mention how scary it must have been being in that storm. Thank God ya'll made it through that mess. I'll say it again, Girl, you kick ass! Buddy, you handled it perfectly.
I am currently reading "The Body Keeps The Score" and it's about trauma and how humans hold onto it. Hearing your children, that's trauma. I would encourage you to take them to therapy after this. My young children experienced trauma and I took them right after. They still have issues even after therapy. So so sad this happened to them. May be some PTSD going on, don't ignore it. Glad ya'll are physically safe. Take care.
This should be a movie. I never doubted that you are sweet as sugar, but tough as nails Steph. Buddy you are so stoic in this situation. I admire that tremendously.
Hear your children scream and cry broke my heart. I can’t imagine how you felt hearing them, your babies, while editing this video or after that ordeal. I’m a mother too and omg I’d break into pieces hearing those screams of fears and tears. 😢
Wasn’t Kansas’s fault. Liberty is responsible. Wouldn’t matter what state if the highway patrol, town sheriff, city police they would of treated the car as stolen and dangerous. They didn’t know what they were up against with a stolen car that had a stolen gun as well. A good gun owner doesn’t leave their gun in the car. If you must have one get your concealed and carry, and keep it on yourself. What would happen if one of your kids would find your gun playing around in the car! Naw Kansas had nothing, nada, zilch to do with what happened to them.
Not sure where you all live, but tornadoes are a naturally occurring thing here. We pull out the lawn chairs, and grab a cooler of beer, to watch them. Lol! And , if you hadn’t gotten your car back; and the officers had got it back for you. You would be thankful.
Thank you for sharing your story...that had to be terrifying!! I hope one day you are able to make better memories in Kansas but I don't blame for avoiding it. I'm not from Kansas and I think I would feel the same way if I were in your shoes.
Steph I’ve never thought of you as soft or weak. To do all the things you do and accomplish all you do takes a strength of character and grit few young women possess in this day and age. I’m relieved to know you carry a firearm, know how to use it, and will use it if necessary. I must say y’all’s experience in Kansas trumps mine for sure, and yet I am determined never to step foot in that state again. You guys were so brave to do so! Hearing Elora’s cries and screams for Mommy is just heart wrenching! What a hero Cayden is for doing what he could to try to keep Elora and Connor calm and reassured. ❤️🙏
This is my first time watching you. I commend you for what you both did together. Aw, hearing your children, my heart aches for them. Just said a prayer for God to ease their fear where law enforcers are concerned. May you all have a peaceful life moving forward.
Brought tears to my eyes hearing the kids screaming & crying.. they were both traumatic events it’s totally understandable to have anxiety if you travelled through Kansas again. When I was a child I went through a few traumatic events and it really effected me, just hearing you say the kids were making sure you stopped at the lights and not to speed brought back memories for me and the anxiety & panic attacks that to this day effect me. We didn’t have therapy back then. I hope the kids are ok now. You & Buddy are amazing, your both a strong, supportive, loving couple & great parents.
All that u went thru IM SO SORRY, I was literally crying as I heard Elora screaming and Conner asking for y’all and Cadyen trying to calm them down was SOOOO TRAMATIC IM sure they Want forget that any Time soon. 😢😮 Glad y’all was All Ok and Made It back home Safe. 😊
Stephanie and Buddy that was awful. It had me sitting hear crying when I heard the kids. I don’t blame you for not wanting to be in Kansas. I know that had to be traumatic for you two. But those poor babies that must have been a nightmare for them seeing there mom and dad treated like that
You guys certainly went through it i cant imagine how scary that was and those dear children it was very traumatic for them. It all brought a lump to my throat. Thank you for sharing. xxx
Listening to your children broke my heart. The one trying to comfort his siblings made me break down. I’m SO sorry this happened to y’all. Just found your channel today. Scary times we live in. 😢
Wow, that's an ordeal guys! Thanks for your story - really crazy series of events. So glad all of you are okay and I hope the kids and you guys can overcome the traumatic experiences. Remember this is a scarier world we are in now, so lock up, don't let your guard down. Be safe :)
Instead of my usual ❤❤❤ I felt I needed to just say that this was a horrific ordeal that you all went through. The cries of your precious children seeing this unfold right before them is unimaginably an experience they will have in their minds forever. I am so sorry that it happened to two of the nicest people on Morrow hill.
I’m so sorry you had to go through two awful experiences in Kansas. I can’t even imagine being pulled over by multiple State police with guns drawn. Horrifying experience for you and the kids. And, Steph, Mama Bear, standing up and growling is very normal when the cubs are concerned. Thankful all ended well. 🙏
Hearing your kids scream broke my heart 💔 I'm glad y'all are safe from that traumatic ordeal. Stephanie, I always thought you had a bada$$ side to you...
Unbelievable, I was on the edge of my seat getting anxiety . Your poor children. That was awful that you all had to go through that. The lady probably just got her hands slapped, but put your whole family through he**. I know you are probably doing better but I am going to say a huge prayer for you all...love you all and thoughts and prayers....🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤😊
Hearing those children screaming breaks my heart 😢 I'm so sorry y'all had to go through this!! I would definitely sue the pants off of those officers for scaring the HELL out of my children!!!!!!!!!!
Oh my, I'd be traumatized too if i had gone what you went through. The sound of your children crying out was heartbreaking. And then a tornado? I'd avoid Kansas too. I am so grateful you all made it through such terrible ordeals. Hope all is well at the Denman Homestead. 🌱
So glad everything worked out for you. I had my purse stolen from a club when I was as 21 so I know how that feels. I also played police detective. This was back when you wrote checks for everything and when checks started rolling in I started contacting the stores. One store gave me a license plate number and I was a dog with a bone. When I called the detective with her name of who had stolen my purse and wrote 12 checks he told me she was arrest the night before and still had my wallet in her car (3 weeks later). Plus I had gone to HS with her and I remember seeing her the night my purse was stolen but couldn’t remember her name. I’m so glad everything worked out for you guys. Lesson for everyone…if you report anything stolen follow up with the police if it’s recovered.
Steph, I had tears as you told how the kids were screaming scared. How terrifying, and yes that will last a lifetime for all of you. I am so very sorry what you went through. Glad you got your car back, still scary someone has your gun out there. We love all of you and hope in time you all heal from this. Thank you for sharing, life has changed so much, crime is increasing everywhere. I thank you for your videos, all the Morrow family videos, help me through my days. 🥰♥
I was in LE before an injury that took me out, and i instantly knew as soon as you were telling the part about the car being stolen. This happens all the time! You have no idea how often it happens and its wild. Im glad you guys are ok. ❤
Hearing Elora brought tears to my eyes. Steph you and Buddy are really something, like a Mommy Lion you were going to protect your cubs. No way would I cross you.
I watch On Patrol: Live and those felony stops are super super stressful. Multiple cops screaming at you giving you different directions, it must have been so intense I have to say that I cried hearing what your children went through 😢
So sorry that happened to your family. People like you sweet and kind and hard-working, good citizens should never have to go through something like that.
Awful experience. I was in tears listening to the kids. Did the caravan realize you were missing? That software system is being used at some multifamily residence and it is amazing. A tag is scanned with problems and the cops are there instantly.
This was an incredible story!!! Thank you for sharing. I am so sorry for you guys but especially the children!! Thank God you made it through without too much trauma. It does hit when you least expect it. God bless you!
Sorry you went through that; Liberty County really dropped the ball on not canceling the BOLO on your car. I am honestly glad Buddy stayed calm and compliant with them. No, they didn't need to be so rough being he was compliant. I don't blame you for avoiding Kansas after the second trip.
I'm like you Steph my adrenalin starts going and I think I can take on the bad guys! And hearing Elora screaming for you both was heartbreaking. What a crazy ordeal! 😥
You all are the bravest and most beautiful people. I do not know if I could have survived what you and your family have went through. I am praying for the children. May God richly bless you all.
Feel so bad for your kids and you how scary, makes you think about travel in Kansas, I started tearing up when hearing the kids can’t imagine how terrifying this was for them .
This happens way more often than people know, I saw an article in a local paper here in PA about just this then I saw several videos on TH-cam and Facebook that were exactly what you all went through. Sorry this happened to you all
OMGosh I'm so very sorry! The recording of the children was 💔 ! I cried. It must have been difficult to share this, but somewhat healing I hope. Prayers for all 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Oh my Lord what a nightmare! My heart completely broke when i heard Stephanie saying her 3 children were in the car, don't shoot!! And then hearing the kids and little Elora crying... OMG!! 😢😢😢😢. And to find out the POS people that caused all this mess were not even charged for STEALING YOUR CAR!! WOW!! I am sooo sorry that happened to you!! Just Wow!! 💔💔
Omg, just listerning to the children broke me, 💔 😢 what a terrible ordeal to go through. Really hope in time that all 3 of the children recover and that their schools also are aware of how fragile they might be and that they could react alarmingly to a situation. Sending huge hugs 🫂 to you all.❤xxx
Oh my gosh when I heard your babies crying I had tears and crying myself. I'm so happy you all made it threw it. Now I know why and I don't blame you for not liking Kansas. I don't travel anymore but if I did I won't ever go Kansas way. The tornado would be horrible not knowing if this is the end of you. I hope your kids are doing well. They seem very good but I only see a few minutes of your days. Thankyou for sharing your lives with us. I love and care about you all.
Omg! What a horrible thing to have to go through. Your babies screaming brought me to tears. 😢 I pray that you all are able to completely recover from those traumatic experiences. ❤
I'm so sorry this happened to you and your family Stephanie, you handled it very well in my book, thank goodness you all are okay now, have a blessed rest of your trip.
Wow y'all! I went through every emotion watching this! I cried with your kids, I had anxiety listening to the storm part, and I laughed with y'all too. I've never been to Kansas, but now I don't think I want to! Thank God y'all are ok. Your poor babies, how traumatic for them!. All I can say is Wow!! 😮
Wow. Talk about PTSD inducing! 😢 I’m so glad you all were blessed during all of this madness! Somebody was definitely looking out for you all. Thanks for sharing this with us all. I’ll definitely not be going to Kansas anytime soon! Stay blessed Denman family! ♥️🙏♥️
Oh my Gosh, what a horrible experience….both of them!!! I’m so proud of you guys and happy for the blessed ending. God bless you guys. I am so sorry that your babies were traumatized, prayers they are doing better 🙏❤️🙏
OMG. I don't blame you guys for wanting to drive around the state when you travel because of these traumatic experiences. This can happen in any state really. Unfortunately, mistakes like this happen all the time and innocent people suffer the consequences. I pray your family can put the fears to rest. Great story explaining things.
Steph, when you got your shotgun and loaded it up…. My first thought was Annie Oakley / Calamity Jane. It was funny at parts, then here comes Kansas. Hearing Connor and Elora crying/screaming, that broke my heart and I was crying with them. Listening to Cayden trying to comfort Connor and Elora, was another heartfelt moment. There was so many red flags in that situation. One misunderstood moment, could have been deadly. I’m so glad all is physically ok, now the mental health needs to heal, if ever. Much love to all of you ❤❤❤ No place like home/Texas ❤️
It was heart wrenching hearing the kids. 😢 So glad everything turned out good. Scary to think what could have happened just because of someone not doing their job.
This video made me realize how much I have grown to love your family. Seeing guns on Buddy and hearing Steph and the babies crying and screaming, had me crying. I hate that you all had to go through that. I will pray for mental healing for all of you. I grew up in Ks. South Eastern Ks. The good side of Kansas lol. If you go down 59 when you head back, there is a tiny town called Kincaid with a little bar and grill called Crickets. They have the best food. But, Kincaid is where "Broken Arrow Bison" is. Noah (the owner) is friends with Dusty Baker (DJ Arms brother).

I could see Steph being a momma bear type and Buddy staying calm.( That doesn't mean he's not wanting to be a papa bear and rip your lungs out, though.) It's always the quiet ones you never take your eyes off.😊
Aw Thank you Shala. ❤️
Hearing Elora screaming had me in tears too
They can still be charged with additional charges if you decide to Pursue it, depends on state. Glad you are ok
Same I cried my eyes poor kiddos 😢
That was back in the 60’s when we could leave our doors unlocked. Not any more.
OMG. What a story.. I was crying hearing your kids, they were so scared. Heartbreaking
How crazy them babies screaming made me cry. You are a force to be reckoned with Stephanie
Also I wanna say I have even more respect for you guys than you will ever no,again I'm so sorry that you went through this.
Hi Buddy and Stephanie. What a traumatic experience. Your poor kids were terrified. Not to mention how scary it must have been being in that storm. Thank God ya'll made it through that mess. I'll say it again, Girl, you kick ass! Buddy, you handled it perfectly.
Wow so sorry all of this happened to you and especially your kids I cannot even imagine the trauma they suffered. I am glad everyone made it out okay.
A movie, it should be sent to the news, and investigated by the organization that reviews injuries and events from civilians and police
The road/ highway is public property. Parking lots I believe are private property & people can't be arrested.
@@Alaska2446 see news link below. Of course it was reported.
Hear your children scream and cry broke my heart. I can’t imagine how you felt hearing them, your babies, while editing this video or after that ordeal. I’m a mother too and omg I’d break into pieces hearing those screams of fears and tears. 😢
I live in Kansas and am so sorry this happened to all of you!!!
Yep, an act of God and your home jurisdiction had everything to do with your experience in Kansas.
The wild wild west come to life through the Denman homstead. You two are awesome. I love Morrow Hill and all the great videos coming from everyone.
Annie Oakley(a.k.a. Steph) is going to go get her shit back! With or without you,Buddy!😅 I can imagine just the conversation getting in the truck.😅
OMG, how traumatic. Glad you survived both your travels through Kansas.
Oh Steph and Buddy these are horrible stories. I certainly don’t blame you for not wanting to go into Kansas. So sad for your children.
Oh, hearing Elora was so awful. I am so sorry you all were traumatized so terribly.
Hearing your kids crying and screaming brought me to tears. Those poor kids. That was so awful for them and you two.
And U Got Ur Car Back Too. Ugh, that was as TRAMATIC for U then too. 😊 You Will Never See Ur Pistol Again 😢
Thank you for sharing. xxx
Thanks for sharing your story. Sometimes reliving things can be just as bad as the original trauma. Take care💙💖
Listening to your children broke my heart. The one trying to comfort his siblings made me break down. I’m SO sorry this happened to y’all. Just found your channel today. Scary times we live in. 😢
Thanks for sharing that story with us. I was so enthralled with the whole thing. Steph you are a very strong woman. Hats off to you.
Thank you Susan ❤️
I’m so sorry you had to go through two awful experiences in Kansas. I can’t even imagine being pulled over by multiple State police with guns drawn. Horrifying experience for you and the kids. And, Steph, Mama Bear, standing up and growling is very normal when the cubs are concerned. Thankful all ended well. 🙏
Hearing your kids scream broke my heart 💔 I'm glad y'all are safe from that traumatic ordeal. Stephanie, I always thought you had a bada$$ side to you...
What a horrible experience for all 5 of you. I am so glad that you got counseling for the kids. Love you all. 😍
Slow move for the enforcement there! Hope the kids are ok x
You can't sue police for scaring children.
I would have definitely contacted an attorney, police departments can be held accountable for negligence!
Oh what a horrible experience! it made me cry hearing the children screaming😭
Wow!! That story brought tears to my eyes at one point. 😢❤
Hearing Elora brought tears to my eyes. Steph you and Buddy are really something, like a Mommy Lion you were going to protect your cubs. No way would I cross you.
Why would anyone leave their purse with a gun in it in their unlocked car is beyond me
Wow! What an adventure.. glad you're all OK ❤ and you can laugh about it today 🤗 love and hugs to all!
I’m so sorry this happened to you guys. I hope your children have recovered. Kansas does sound pretty good to me now ❤
I watch On Patrol: Live and those felony stops are super super stressful. Multiple cops screaming at you giving you different directions, it must have been so intense I have to say that I cried hearing what your children went through 😢
So sorry that happened to your family. People like you sweet and kind and hard-working, good citizens should never have to go through something like that.
What a story! I wouldn’t want to go through Kansas either! I’m with you Stephanie, find a different route and stay out of Kansas!
Oh my goodness. I’m so sorry all of you had to go through that.
Omg that’s terrible glad you guys are ok from that terrible ordeal ❤️🐓🐄🌻🐮🦚🐐🐈⬛🦆🐷🐝
How terrifying! Shame on that irresponsible employee hope it made them feel horribly. Tears hearing your children having your own so glad you’re okay.
Just Wow!! 💔💔
So glad all is home and safe , prayers with you all !
Oh my what a story! The fact that your local police aided your search in finding the people who stole your car is unbelievable! They ought to pay you!
Wow. Talk about PTSD inducing! 😢 I’m so glad you all were blessed during all of this madness! Somebody was definitely looking out for you all. Thanks for sharing this with us all. I’ll definitely not be going to Kansas anytime soon! Stay blessed Denman family! ♥️🙏♥️
Omg, how crazy… They probably waited because parking lots are private property.
Oh maybe so!
What a horrendous time, absolutely heartbreaking listening to your children crying 😢 what a mess up by the police 😢
I am so sorry this happened, the cries in the kid’s voice is broke my heart. Sending you all my prayers and blessings love my farmfamily.❤❤❤❤❤
My heart goes out to you, knowing your kids were having to go thru that.
Thank you Sheila ❤️
Love Dusty's bison channel and Arms Homestead channel as well. Both are excellent!
