What is the benefit of running a motor on star and delta? while actually it can run on a single connection delta or star, are there any advantages? Please explain

In star torque current is high while in delta torque current is low.
If u need power then u need to connect a motor in delta.

In delta condition high amount of current flow through motor so the torque will be high and motor's windings can burn in this condition. But if you run motor first in star connection the starting current will be low and starting torque will be low.
in star line voltage VL=Vh/root 3

Possible reason ye ho sakta hai
1. Overload relay ka settings kaam hoga jisse motor trip ho raha ho
2. Agar start karte hi trip ho raha ho to Power connection check kariye
3. Motor ko 3 phase supply nahi mil pa raha jisse single phasing par trip ho raha
