Hi Paula, I'm ever so glad you are enjoying your walks with James and Lilian. They are so good for you. I think you seem less tired when you exercise xxx
Every year I make sure my son has a Christmas Pudding with hard sauce but it’s only him that eats it, it’s a lot of work and expensive ingredients and steam it for about 6 hours. I met a woman who is a lovely baker who lives nearby and makes the puddings to sell every year. Since she makes so many of them it’s not as expensive for her and she steams them all at once in a big steamer. Hers are better than mine ever were and she doesn’t charge nearly as much as I think she should so I have no guilt that I buy it instead of making it. 👍🏼 Hope everyone feels better soon they can have their party. 🤞🙋🏼♀️
Hi Paula, this year is the first time in years that i haven't made a pudding. All for the same reasons as you. Love how small things make you so happy, that's one of the many reasons i enjoy watching you.
Did I miss the video of the blanket you were making with reindeer, trees and snowflake? It was red and white I think. You were going to crochet the squares together.
Totally agree re. the Christmas cake. I too like to make my own cake (and Xmas pudding) but this year I haven’t - for exactly the same reasons as you. It’s a shame but I’m sure our shop bought ones will be delicious and maybe we’ll be able to make our own next year 🎄 xx
FAT CARROT !!🥕🥕🥕 😂 pie looked lush 🥧 would really like to see Meg’s crochet, always been a knitter but learning basic crochet on TH-cam, made a tiny weeny square 😅 Hugs, Suze 🤗🥰 x
Your pie looked delicious Paula! I always cook the filling first to make sure it’s cooked then the pastry is nicer in my personal opinion! Love those Norfolk skies!
Hi Paula, So enjoyed your visit! Had to look up what a Swede was. I guess here in US it’s called a rutabaga. Never tasted one. Can’t imagine what it tastes like. Kind of funny looking! Wonder if you made the sausage rolls? They sound good! 😊❤️👍🌸
I make Cornish Pasty Pie for Xmas Eve. Nothing like yours, definitely no carrot in a Cornish pasty pie! I am Cornish. The pastry is made in such a way in Cornwall that it can bear the time in the oven. I'm catering for 11 on Xmas Eve so my oven will be full. No extra sides/veggies needed. We have Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert.
@@stitchedbymrsd6754 not criticising at all, sorry if it sounded that way. I adapt recipes too, this year I have to do a vegan pasty pie for one of my daughters.
Aww Paula I look forward to your vids each day. I've had a rubbish week so far, and you make me smile . What a nice way to end the day. ❤

I was just adapting a recipe from a book and substituted with what I had in my fridge, nothing wrong with that
