Oh Paula I was laughing so hard at the projects you were taking with you. I was having to move 1300 miles away and was afraid I would not be able to get my sewing stuff unpacked for a week or two so for projects to take with me in the car (traveling just 2 days and I was driving by myself) I took 1 bed quilt to hand quilt, 6 embroidery projects, 2 knitting projects (one a blanket I was starting) and threw in a couple of smaller things "just in case" I ran out. I looked at the pile and couldn't believe what all I was taking but then I saw your video and found out I am not the only one scared of running out of projects. LOL Loved going along with you on vacation. Thank you!!!
We live about an hour and 15 mins from Wells next the sea and stay at pinewoods last September my partner got down on one knee on the beach and asked me to marry him so it’s extra special to us x

You are not the only one to take your favourite mug on holiday - I do too.. My project bags are lined up - a new blanket to crochet and a little bird ornament to sew plus paper projects. We are on holiday for four days too! I also take my own sheet and a blanket as I can't sleep under a duvet. My family thinks its hilarious.

I just found your channel and loved it. I am from Kings Lynn but live in PA. USA. I have been to wells, but spent most of the time at Hunstanton for a holiday or day trip. Just seeing the beach made me homesick. I was last there in 2015. I love knitting and rug making so I will check out all your past episodes.

Yes, super. It does not take much to have a good time with family... water, sand, fun things to eat and do. Memories will remain when they are all grown. Trust the happy times.

Fun video Paula. Beach huts are so quaint….and so very English! Our little Welsh terrier, our half-Irish terrier, and our sister’s Jack Russell all do that little skip sometimes. It’s just their “excited” walking….nothing to worry about.

Beach huts are normally privately owned, but can then be rented out. They are a base for the day, so that people can enjoy the beach, the sea, and have somewhere to change, eat, relax and store their beach things. They do not have a loo/WC so one has to go to the nearest public one, and local laws state that one cannot stay the night.
Great vlog Paula. We only got back from North Norfolk the other day, stayed just up the coast from Wells. It's a beautiful part of the country. I love Wells, spent many a holiday there when my boys were little and always like to go back. A couple of the beach huts were up for sale in the estate agents for the sum of £70,000 and £80,000!!! Thanks for sharing your holiday with us , such a lovely family xx
Oh that was a fantastic holiday video. So many memories of when I had my children and we went on a seaside holiday staying in a caravan. I live at the seaside but it isn't as nice as Wells x

I loved watching your holiday in wells not Wales - and I took me back to when my children were younger and family holidays with camping, lovely beach walks and ice cream in Devon - I loved it so much I now live here!! You had some great weather too. All you need is a beach with children and dogs happy days. My fav beach hut is the Union Jack we had a council beach hut growing up these are much prettier ! we used it to cook our cheap burgers and fish fingers on a camping stove inside. Did you buy the dress I’m dying to know!
It would be a luxury to be on the beach with so few people. We went to the beach in South Carolina and it is jammed with people on almost every square inch. Of the beach. Love my English home.
What a lovely vacation! Thank you for taking us along. Lillian’s “skip” is probably caused by a slipped/luxating patella. It’s super common in small breeds and can be genetic. It can get to be painful, but it never slowed our Maltese down, either.

Surprised you were able to take the dogs on the beach, last time I was at Wells dogs weren’t allowed. That’s the first time I’ve seen the tide in and you still get a good length of beach. Like many others below i wonder what the beach huts are for. I am thinking owners of the caravans keep all their beach supplies in the huts? I also take my mug when i travel. My morning coffee is so important to me that i dont want it ruined by not having a good mug to drink out of. Hope you bought the dress!

Thanks for taking us to Wells not Wales ( I misheard). It didn't seem very busy and that surprised me. A couple questions for you, what are the beach huts for, I assume they have owners but nobody seemed to be using them. Are those Emma Bridgewater mugs if so the price rises considerably when they cross the pond. They are about $40.00 🇨🇦 here. Also, could you not do a day trip to Wells if you chose to, an hours drive does not seem very far. Our closet large city is Regina (capital city of Saskatchewan) is a 2 hour drive and we seem to need to drive there for one reason or another about once a month. As always your vlog was great. 😊
Hello Linda, I have bad travel anxiety and if we went for the day I would spend the whole day worrying about the journey back again even though its only 45 minutes. Noone was in the beachhuts as they are used in the day and I filmed at night and yes they are Emma Bridgewater. Thank you for the questions xx

I loved watching your holiday in wells not Wales - and I took me back to when my children were younger and family holidays with camping, lovely beach walks and ice cream in Devon - I loved it so much I now live here!! You had some great weather too. All you need is a beach with children and dogs happy days. My fav beach hut is the Union Jack we had a council beach hut growing up these are much prettier ! we used it to cook our cheap burgers and fish fingers on a camping stove inside. Did you buy the dress I’m dying to know!

It would be a luxury to be on the beach with so few people. We went to the beach in South Carolina and it is jammed with people on almost every square inch. Of the beach. Love my English home.

What a lovely vacation! Thank you for taking us along. Lillian’s “skip” is probably caused by a slipped/luxating patella. It’s super common in small breeds and can be genetic. It can get to be painful, but it never slowed our Maltese down, either.
That's what I thought too but all of the vets have checked for that and she hasn't got it. She just walks with a spring in her step 😂😂

Surprised you were able to take the dogs on the beach, last time I was at Wells dogs weren’t allowed. That’s the first time I’ve seen the tide in and you still get a good length of beach. Looks like you had a fabulous time, I’ll have to look for the mug shop next time I go, your hearts mug is lovely. Thanks for letting us share your holiday.
Wells next the sea is one of the most dog friendly beaches in the area. You were probably on the tiny bit of the beach where they are not allowed x
@@stitchedbymrsd6754 must of been, we only walked to the end of the boardwalk (this was a few years ago) where the huts begin, never been down as far as your end, thanks for the info

Like many others below i wonder what the beach huts are for. I am thinking owners of the caravans keep all their beach supplies in the huts?
I also take my mug when i travel. My morning coffee is so important to me that i dont want it ruined by not having a good mug to drink out of.

Thanks for taking us to Wells not Wales ( I misheard). It didn't seem very busy and that surprised me. A couple questions for you, what are the beach huts for, I assume they have owners but nobody seemed to be using them. Are those Emma Bridgewater mugs if so the price rises considerably when they cross the pond. They are about $40.00 🇨🇦 here.
Also, could you not do a day trip to Wells if you chose to, an hours drive does not seem very far. Our closet large city is Regina (capital city of Saskatchewan) is a 2 hour drive and we seem to need to drive there for one reason or another about once a month. As always your vlog was great. 😊
Hello Linda, I have bad travel anxiety and if we went for the day I would spend the whole day worrying about the journey back again even though its only 45 minutes. Noone was in the beachhuts as they are used in the day and I filmed at night and yes they are Emma Bridgewater. Thank you for the questions xx

I was up that way for the last two weeks we ha planned to go to Wells by the Sea but my husband hurt himself. We have a cockapoo Milo he’s my second baby he’s only 18 months old.
