    My wife has a Vulcan 900 and I ride it occasionally. The Vulcan 900 is also a comfortable bike for tall riders. I am a little over 6"4" and weigh about 270lbs. I find the clutch so easy to work with and the frame wide enough to handle my size. It is effortless. You are correct that it will not win a drag race, but at 68 years old, I am tired of being stupid. I know people who ride these coast to coast. I ride a Victory Vision Tour which is a torque monster. It is much faster off the line, but our Interstates up here in South Dakota have an 80 mph speed limit. Her Vulcan 900 has no problem running those speeds and she stays with me no problem. It is a good bike for the price and in high demand. That is why Kawasaki keeps making them. Love your video's and enthusiasm.

      i honestly preferred the vulcan 900 custom to the victory jackpot, twice as fun in the city... :) as you stated, there's so much more torque but riding is so much more than just "the pull"

    EXACTLY !! Chillness. I am a re-entry rider of over 20 years, and I just do cruisers, because if I got a sport bike, I know me. I'd be going over 100 mph often and I don't want that anymore. I own a Shadow 750 and a non running Vulcan 1500, and I hope to ride the Vulcan this summer.

      I haven't ridden since 2017 but looking to get back to it as well. I grew up on dirt bikes and made the transition into sport bikes. I couldn't help but go fast. They're so smooth, you think you're going half the speed you truly are. They're definitely built and designed to go way faster than highway speeds. And the false confidence you get through that makes you want to take chances that you shouldn't. I almost died countless times. But at 40 years old, I'm lookin to chill out on a cruiser for the rest of my days. I'm always driving around, aimlessly, in my truck, with these absurd fuel prices. So, I might as well get into riding on two wheels again!

    Great video! Like your comments. I have 3 bikes, Kawasaki Voyager, Triumph Trophy and the 900 classic with 14" bars. Hard to beat the 900

    As I grow older, the less I want to go fast. My taste in bikes change. I used to LOVE sports. Now it's cruisers time.

    glad you enjoy cruising... no disrespect but don't get over confident too soon. cruisers offer a false sense of safety, especially compared to sport bikes BUT their weight is to be respected, especially in slow speed situations. one can't simply 'muscle them around'... i encourage all new riders to practice slow speed maneuvers in a parking lot... it's kind of a strange combo of boring and scary but it's the wisest way one can spend time on a cruiser.
    also as i recall the vulcan 900 doesn't have abs is a bit too eager to lock the rear wheel in emergency cases.
    be nice be safe have fun everyone :)

    now you need to go back to 2001 and try a 2001 Honda Magna 750, I wont spoil with too much opinion but watch a few TH-cam reviews of the bike...I think it would meet perfectly with your sport bike love, and new love of cruisers all in one package.

    Hi, I'm just curious. Are your handlebars stock Vulcan bars or are they Beach cruiser bars?

    • @MotorcycleTimeTV
      @MotorcycleTimeTV  ปีที่แล้ว

      Pretty sure they are the stock bars for the Vulcan Classic LT. This bike had the windscreen removed before I bought it.

    For the money you cant beat the vulcans ..the tranny is clunky but it's solid if that makes sense ...honarable mention the suzuki blvd 800 is a nice bike also...the C/50 they call it ..

    What tachometer are you running on that?

    • @MotorcycleTimeTV
      @MotorcycleTimeTV  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi William,
      I'm unsure what brand tach that is. It was on the bike when I bought it. the tach bares no brand markings or numbers that I can see. It appears like it is glued onto the OEM handle bar bracket? but I suppose it could also be a one piece unit that replaced the OEM bracket. Either way it looks pretty seamless the way it was done. But thats all the info I have.

      After a quick search it MIGHT be this tach.
