George, Charlotte and Louis Join Princess Of Wales To Volunteer At Baby Bank Charity | Royal Roundup

- The Princess of Wales has taken her children volunteering at a baby bank where the young royals picked out Christmas presents for those in need.
Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, eight, and five-year-old Prince Louis got stuck in sifting through donated goods after being given the task of choosing toys they would like and filling festive bags.
Kate made an official visit to the Baby Bank in Holyport near Maidenhead in April and returned a few weeks ago with her children for a private evening event.
In a video released to mark their trip, Kate is seen with her arm around George, saying: “You can see how rewarding this work is, knowing that you’re helping out others” and her son replies “yes”.

Yes Diana, but in a good way! In her natural heartwarming, compassionate way! Yes it was Diana who insisted in bringing her boys closer to the people, let them see what “normal” life is. So they would get to know closer the people they are going to rule over one day…Catherine being one of those people (in a good way again, as she is as regal and dignified as any born Royal) is continuing this legacy…wonderful legacy!

No one forgets. That’s what this is all about. The Princess of Wales is highlighting the Baby Banks, those who donate to them, and the need for more people to be aware of the BB, donate, and also go and volunteer like she and the Wales children have done.

Does Nicola Thorp not realise Catherine has an official role, and TRF generally promote charities. This is standard stuff. Catherine isn’t showing up for 10 minutes with paps for media exposure, unlike someone else, who cynically exploits their Royal connection for money. Go back to your D list acting, Nicola!

Amazing he's so sensitive about whats printed about him that he takes them to court. No care whatsoever about lies printed about his own. He's a true piece of work.
What I find to be hilarious is that it is regarding his "honesty" and "integrity" as though he is capable of any honesty or has any integrity left to defend to begin with. He and Meghan have told so msny lies and made up so many different versions of the same events so often that we won't know when and if they ever do tell the truth.

I am an American and after seeing this video yesterday, gathered two somewhat large bags of brand new, unopened toys (bought for grandchildren who already have too many toys to even play with) and donated to Toys for Tots. Your Princess Catherine & her children are showing the world how to truly celebrate the REAL meaning of this Holiday Season. This future queen leads by example.
Pleased dont put it down to makes good PR it is so much more than that. Saying makes good PR diminishes the importance of what is is about and what it teaches everyone including children the importance of compassion and consideration for others.

I did the same thing with my children when they were young, and now they are carrying on the same with my grandchildren. A little of your time can do wonderful things!
I thought this was a great experience for the Royal children! This was much more than a photo shoot! The children were really involved! It also brings advertisement for the charity! It makes people aware and incentivizes them to give!

I think this little film also sets an example for others. If the Kate effect kicks into gear you're going to see a rise in volunteering and donations to baby banks. Princess Catherine is doing a fantastic job at raising awareness. And unlike Meghan, you never feel that she's trying to promote herself. She truly highlights the causes. She's brilliant at her job.

Every child needs to learn this who has any sort of privilege. My kids did charity work and it’s great for them to get out of themselves and realize how good they have it and how lucky they are.

We didn't have a lot of extra money growing up, so my parents social life when they had a night out was usually volunteering. Something they didn't have to pay to do, besides the babysitter, and they met a lot of people what's similar values who became lifelong friends of our family. And that example was set for my siblings and I. We all have our volunteer activities now. I don't think it matters if you have a lot of money, learning to do something to help other people is a very humanizing experience.

Someone should analyze the finances of the Despicable Duo. They only received $40m from Netflix (so far), $10m from Spotify, etc. think of their expenses: federal and state income taxes, house, travel, marketing firm, security, babysitting, clothes and jewelry, AND attorney fees! Strange. I mean it’s nice because I think everyone takes their kids to a food bank or someplace to help people in need. At least my family have lots over the years, but I’m really surprised that she and her kids aren’t at a store actually buying and donating to those in need. At least it will get people talking about something important and maybe volunteer as well I guess. A lot of people do good deeds without the camera, but maybe it was someone there just taking the pictures and not the royal family arranging for the cameras to be there. If they arranged it that’s a little cringe. It’s different if this is actually a charity event that they’re sponsoring but if they’re just arriving at this place to help it’s kind of weird there’s cameras there filming it. It makes me think that otherwise they wouldn’t be there. It’s still better volunteering and helping than not volunteering and helping though. Just a bit strange.
Someone might see the video and think"I wonder if there's a branch near me,I have clothes my kids no longer wear and my kids have toys their grown out of we could donate"and even if there isn't a branch of the baby bank Catherine and the kids were volunteering at there might be a branch of another baby bank they could donate to which they might never have known about had they not watched the video,I mean some people might not watch a video about Jane Smith from down the road volunteering at the local charity but they will watch a video about The Royal Family.

Sad that you see such negativity & the assumptions you make serve no purpose in the work they are doing. If all you are inspired to do is complain then maybe you should have scrolled on by. Guaranteed they know the life they have, but going to these sites, volunteering, bringing the children to learn & help are good things. They highlight that these services are out there for families in need, they get other people to jump in to help by showing up to donate &/or volunteer. I really am curious to know if you have done any volunteer work, to put others first, to make an attempt at making changes in your community? Or is it easier to complain & tear someone else down for trying to inspire others?
