    As a yugo owner an enthusiast and there’s enough yugos out there that doing silly with them isn’t a waste, as long as you save it’s original engine and sell it back to those working on restoring and saving their yugos

    In 2003, Toyota 1SZ-FE engines of 1,000 cc and 70 hp, with VVT-i variable valve timing system, were installed for testing purposes in five examples of the YUGO, but it is not known where they are now, or they have been dismantled or are with collectors in garages

    Excuse me Jason but I think the best way to swap a ecu multiport injection engine into a carbureted one is to take the full wire loom and transfer it entirely than to cut and splice. As you have all the components from the Toyota you can transfer everything so the yugo thinks it’s a toyota

    • @OldeCarrGuy

  • @davecarey7452

  • @itseithergonnaworkoritaint7852
    @itseithergonnaworkoritaint7852 ปีที่แล้ว

    Not sure why you just didn't rig the cherry picker to lift the front of the car from one side and just undo the wiring and miscellaneous, unbolt the under carriage and roll it all out as one assembly? Probably would of only took 3 hours total plus or minus? Could of left you much more wobble pop cold snack time? Oh well, you got it out , maybe you can do it the above way to the Hugo?

    • @OldeCarrGuy
      @OldeCarrGuy  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You're 100% right, How ever, I'll still need to be able to roll the car around before completely dismantling. But it's out!

    • @itseithergonnaworkoritaint7852
      @itseithergonnaworkoritaint7852 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@OldeCarrGuy
      Are you going to adapt the Toyota carriage to bolt into the Hugo? Should be relatively easy to do by making a plate that bolts to the Toyota carriage and to the Hugo where its carriage would bolt to.(if that thing is built with a carriage? You'll get the more modern handling too if you can make it come together that way?
      Not sure it can be done that way but probably worth looking into can possibly save you months of fabrication?
