I like that you used a 2+2. The extra length makes the additional width look more natural. Plus, the LWB E-Type is a better riding and more stable car at high speed in straight line. I have a S3 E roadster with stock engine and gearbox but upgraded with polybushings, oversized sway bar, and adjustable shocks. The car handles beautifully and the steering is incredibly precise.
Stunning to say the least. To have not only the vision of what you want, but the ability and resources to achieve it is astounding. Can you hear the admiration and envy in my words?
I'm an ultra purist e-type fan. I've owned three Series I examples. But I really like what you have done here. More like a Lister 'special' than a modification job. Has a Ferrari vibe (in a good way). Love the vents in the side. Great car.
Best build I've ever seen on TH-cam - and I have spend the last few years due to COVID watching a lot of them. Wow. If I won powerball I'd ask for you to build me one of those. Art.
Lovely job. It looks exactly as wide as the Touring Version of the E Type, also known as the Jaguar XJS. I've had the same XJS for the last 17 years. It was built in 1989.
I always thought that an E type would look great a little bit wider. Vary happy to see what you have done. Great job. A huge project well executed. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Many will call you a Philistine, but I understand exactly why you did this. It looks fabulous. Somebody did this to an Austin Healey 3000 and that looks fab too. It is like comparing a Spitfire Mk 5 with a Mk XIV.
great unique personal build . I have done a 3000 hour concourse restore on my 1970 E-type series 2 2+2 Regency red ,Biscuit interior gets lots of praise. >BUT some days I think would have been nice to have made a restomod lightweight very personal styled E-type . Good job !
I would like to see one with a shorter wheelbase (this is a series 2)....maybe 100" wb instead of 96" S1 and 108" S2. A front engine XJ13~ is an idea worth pursing also.
Good question, we've since sold it so I don't have the info you're asking for. Thanks for watching though, I know he just finished another version in black so reaching out to Design Velke on the web may help!
I always loved the lines of the e-type but always thought that the body always made the wheels look really skinny. I think this is how they should have looked from the factory.

This has to be one of the most beautiful builds I have ever seen. Lots of dedication and craftsmanship. I really appreciate it.
Agreed - an e-type exudes such a vibe and we love it.
This has to be one of if not the most Beautiful if not the most beautiful e type or even car I’ve ever seen
That's a wonderful endorsement. I can't help but agree!
That’s a cracking good motor you’ve built, sir!
Beautifully done and she must be an absolute blast to drive! I love the sound of the heavy duty engine and gearing…beautiful sound

Same and I felt the Ferrari vibe…
Yes amazing work! I too though the side cut outs on the bonnet looked like an Italian design. The red didn't hurt either 😀

Wow.

That car is absolutely sick .. What a stunning automobile and a great job on the build . 👍👍
Beautiful E-Type! Just gorgeous! Nice job, congratulations.
Beautifully made! Congratulations.
Stunning build, proportions beautiful, must be such fun to drive it
What an amazing job and so much work involved. I'd have to give my bed away because I would be sleeping in the car.
From the UK, from a Jag lover, what can I say. Thank you. Jaguar was always about innovating and pushing. I think you’ve done them proud.
The most beautiful car in the world 👍🏾 well done
Brilliant. Absolute perfection!!!

Holy smoke, a brilliant Masterpiece....................
Such a beautiful car. You do amazing work
Totally how the E type should have looked ,eagle jaguar in England make amazing e types as well with perfect proportions and performance to match
No one else has one amazing
Beautiful job!
"I had to do it". Sounds like a pretty good reason to me.
Makes me think an early 60s E Type and a 1959 Ferrari Testa Rosa had a child. The red paint helps the affect. Cool!
Very cool way to see it! Thanks for watchin!
Love the attitude, "I had to do it.".
Sometimes you just have to do what the mind tells ya! Thanks for watchin!
She is one wicked beast! The classic Lady in Red! 🔥❤🔥
Absolutely the dogs nuts !
Hugely inspirational!

There is a new one being built, Design Velke is currently doing a different variation.
Absolute beauty
Wonderful
Great job! The E type always needed to be wider.
It's your eye , you've got a good eye!
Damn the Purist full speed ahead !
I'm a purist. However, this car makes one speechless! Be interesting with the right checkbook whether he would part with it or build another?
amazing work and looks, how wide is the car?

Beautiful.
Looks better then. An original E Type In my opinion.
Beautiful.
