- When you have been driving for a very long time and you are dead tired but still need to get out for a quick shoot before hitting the sack. My uncles taught me to drive in an old Land Rover troopie when I was 12. I thought it was really cool, until I realised it was so they could have more trigger time while I was stuck inside driving. The buggers! lol

On different species for commercial meat recovery, it became very apparent driving right boosts productivity significantly. Whoever is doing the shooting doesn't have as many excuses with a good driver, so gets booted off the gun on second miss if the driver can also shoot ok. Might only get a couple of chances on wary opposition a night, & needed to make few mistakes to be worth doing.
It's good when you have an automatic gate opener on board. Some times they wine a bit but you learn to ignore that. Good out though Josh.🤠

Another great video Josh. One advantage of the wheelchair is I only have to get the gates when I 'm cruising around the paddocks on my own haha.

Yeah, it doesn't stop the tongue in cheek requests to get the gates but at least I don't get invited to help drafting stroppy bulls or overprotective cows and heifers in the yards at weaning time when I visit.

There's some dedication, drive all day and hunt all night. Another enjoyable video greatly appreciated, shame the scope was off a tad it would have been great to get that long shot.

Found a decent torch, will be interesting how well it lasts as a work torch compared with other brands, & how the animals react to it.
So far so good. Found a few cats and a dog with it last night and they didn’t seem to be too spooked at all by it. 👍

@@Browneye2566 they are very nice. I’m yet to try them on a pig but they should work well especially on stationary ones. I have got a can of ADI 165gr SP to try on pigs but I haven’t had the opportunity yet.

You certainly pack in alot. Work hard, play hard. Of course, you're used to driving distance for your recreation. Us Europeans think driving an hour and a half is a journey and a half and you drove for 22 hours? How do you reconcile it with the family? My other half would kick off rotten if I went galavanting off with my mates. Gone are the days when I used to burn the candle at both ends and in the middle. Good on you.
Haha well I flew down to SA for a wedding and then a few of us drove back together. I still had a 4 hour drive to get back to my place to where my wife was. So that wasn’t a problem for me. 😉

What is your go to hunting torch?
Either this Ace Beam L19 2.0 or the Olight Javelot Turbo. This one probably has a bit more distance and is smaller too.
