    I'm a Transformers collector and I agree. I love displaying my toys with each other in battle scenarios and it looks horrible when they're out of scale. Interplayabilty is one of the most important features IMO. When done well, new toys will give new life to old ones.

      Not to mention Todd's comment about Galactus also falls apart when you apply that same logic to Unicron. He's literally the size of an entire planet, it's physically impossible to scale him with any Transformers toy ever made.

    Hearing Todd saying that they need the best version of the figure is hilarious. He’s never released the best version of a figure

    While I feel that Wonder Woman can be the unique exception with her size. It definitely doesn't excuse all the Damian Wayne Robins who are definitely too large. And isn't proper scaling one of the things toy companies should actually take into consideration when starting a line in the first place? Even Kenner and Mattel was doing that way back then.

    We all need to reach out to jada and ask them to get the dc licenses. They would do some good in 6 inch line.

    This is primarily why I only really go for "big figs" from McFarlane, i.e. Swamp Thing, King Shark, Steppenwolf, and especially Darkseid from Zack Snyder's Justice League. I typically stick with 6-inch figures, with my Mattel DC Multiverse figure of BvS Superman being the baseline, but occasionally, there are 7-inch McFarlane figures I can make an exception for because I know nobody else is going to make them, such as Red Son Superman or the DCEU iterations of Doctor Fate and Blue Beetle.

    I stopped collecting the DC figs because of the scaling. One they are too big to collect and the scale is way off. I buy Mafex for my DC figs now

    But what people don't understand is that his figures come in waves and these waves maybe unrelated and based on different novels. You're pretty much mixing a mashing anyway so you are going to have to find out what works and what doesn't. If it doesn't work it doesn't work. Pair another Superman that will work with wonder woman. If you're mixing another brand with his brand that's not going to work either.
    Why doese it even need to ??
    They're two separate brands.
    By the knightfall Catwoman that came in the wave that knightfall batman came in Kay.
    They're Ganna scale right.

    • @Oozyfish207
      @Oozyfish207  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@YEAR-1-RELICS true but you can’t just pair a Superman with a wonder woman because their styles won’t match you need the right one, especially with that hush Batman being the tallest figure out of anything it doesn’t match

      Don't use hush batman..he comes in a wave and all of them scale specific to hush batman.
      Use knightfall batman with wonder woman. They're about the same height. Her hair comes up a little bit but it's okay it's just her hair style and she's an Amazonian. she's not supposed to be too short. Use crisis Superman and swap the head with action comics Superman to get the more classic look. I can already see you're not unfamiliar with customization.
      That Superman has just the right bulk and height for a trinity or justice league line up.
      Mcfarlane has made a few flash figures so you're going to have to play around and see which one scales right.
      Scaling hardly gets to me when it's not too dramatic. I keep my figures in poses on the shelf. They're never all standing up in a vanilla pose. If one might be the other may not.
      But yeah I don't use hush batman for a justice league lineup. That batman is too tall. I keep that specific hush batman with his wave.

    • @YEAR-1-RELICS
      @YEAR-1-RELICS 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Oozyfish207
      It's because Mcfarlane went cheap with Superman since he's not his favorite character. He used a Superman body buck mold from another wave. He used the infected Superman body buck. It's smaller than hush batman.
      He shouldn't have cheaped out but there are ways to fix this. I have fixed it and it's simple.

    I agree with you on everything except comparing mafex with todd. His figures are 7 inch thats a fact from the beginning. They are not 1/12 they are 7 inch. Comparing them to mafex to prove a point is not fair. It is not a toy company responsabilty to match with other company. Where i completely follow you is where the is incoherence qith the same line of the same company

    I’m kinda like Todd. I really don’t care what the scale is, or how they look next to each other, as long as it looks cool and takes cool pictures. That’s why his scaling never bothered me in the first place. He’s even stated multiple times that each figure can be based on a specific panel, cover, or artist. The figures won’t be scaled the same if they’re all based on different artists. I’d even argue that marvel legends does the same thing. It’s inaccurate that almost every male (and most female) figures are the exact same height and build since they reuse molds so much. I love the new warbird figure, but she’s so tiny next to other female figs. The only company that scales figures consistently is Neca.

He's right in the fact that some of us can't afford to buy the entire Galactus and fantastic four set so we can only buy the one figure to enjoy it.
