We got team-wiped two minutes after entering that second level. That level is incredibly brutal with such a small space and all four members upping the spawns to insane levels.
i just solo'd this EDD as scout, my first time doing a solo elite dive in so long, only went down once and managed to beat it first time through under 41 minutes, not too shabby i must say
the 2nd mission was hell like seriously we were a squad and none of us have done a haunted cave mission before. only we know how we built the pipeline on this mission😶😶
I think it's worth a try, it's the same format as the elite deep dive with 3 stages just at lower hazard levels. The good thing about the deep dives is that the map layouts, missions and mostly the enemy variety stay the same for the whole week so you're able to familiar yourself with everything if you do fail a few times.
I don't really have a preference for weapons at all I know you weren't talking to me but just giving my opinion on the weapons, I prefer the shotgun because my playstyle revolves around constant turret relocation. I run Gemini with quick placement and pretty much every time I relocate to a new room I put my Gemini turrets in a corner and I'm constantly relocating and using my platforms to funnel bugs. I yo yo back and forth between lure and proximity mines depending on the mission. Lok I love specifically for elimination and dealing with single targets threats. If I'm running lok I typically run it with breach cutter and stack a bunch of ammo through upgrades and ocs. Effectively turning the breach cutter into a shotgun to give me space if I get over ran. This I use with lure 100% of the time to keep bugs in front of my turrets and away from me

Oh wow that was close, I didn't realize at the time. Ya the tiny map with the ghost was a pain, sting tails + ghost murdered me on my first attempt.

The thing that saved the run on second stage for me and my team is that I remembered bugs can't reach you when you stand on top of refinery

I just love shotguns and grenade launchers in video games, I don't really enjoy the other engineer weapons at all

Why do you ignore the gold deposits? Not worth the time?
I personally don't need the gold but on the deep dives the goal is to just get in and get out so gold isn't as important compared to a normal mission
