    I believe that this was the best sound (both ANC and Music) comparison demo that I have seen and heard in a TH-cam video. Well done, man…very well done!

    Hey man, great review, very clear and wonderful to have the comparisons with Gen 1.
    But I really wanted to comment on your cinematography - it's absolutely lovely! Lighting is spot on (no pun intended) and grading is really really nice. Composition and movement also really impressive. Very "filmic", the whole thing - just what I like!! I know it takes time and dedication to get results this good, so wanted to say well done!!!

    Sad to hear the issue with noise cancelling freaking out on bumpy busses was not fixed. It's my main issue with my Gen 1s since my main use of them is on the bus.

    Very nice to hear a comparison of the 1st gen and 2nd Gen. Thats definitely a noticeable difference. I think the 50s (1st Gen) were on sale this past Black Friday somewhere for $130 vs the 2nd Gen I think are about $330+? Not sure which I would want to invest in. I love a deal but that is a good difference in sound.

      Gen 2 is the overall better Headphone, by quite a margin, but gen 1 is still a very good Headphone.

    Hello, I would like to ask 2 questions:
    1. Will the EQ in the app change the sound while listening to Pandora❓out of the app?
    2. If Bose QC ultra ANC is a 9/10, what would you rate the ANC on the aonic50 gen 2 ❓
    Thanks

    • @LeechTM
      @LeechTM  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      1. I cant answer that, i dont use Pandora. 2. i`d say somewhere around the 7 Mark.

    Hey could you tell us about the Volume Steps? Did they increase the Steps from Gen 1 to Gen 2? Gen 1 had I think only 15 Volume Steps so I had sometimes Problems to adjust the Volume to my Likings.

    • @LeechTM
      @LeechTM  ปีที่แล้ว

      sry, i already had to send them back, so i cannot check the steps on Gen2.

    The options and settings in the app to tweak are actually crazy good compared to headphones like XM5 by Sony, which most of the features they set up automatically by """ AI """. It barely works, and you can't even do things like turn off notification sounds or lower volume of it. Sony should be ashamed of themselves, as should they be of dropping all the codec support besides their own.
    Either way, that's just a comparison of how many things Shure does right. It's a shame those headphones are not known at all, but in my opinion, they're currently the best in almost all measures. ANC is always a thing that one headphone can do better in some extend, but Gen2 is so good now at it, it's not worth losing all the other things, just to have slightly better ANC in some situations.
    I personally also went from Gen 1 to Gen 2. I feel like the main difference in sound quality is tweaking of bass and lower frequencies to have more power, while not muddling over the rest, which they seemed to do pretty well. It takes time to get used to it, and I'm trying to find a fault in the stronger bass, as if it makes things worse, but so far I notice myself hearing more tones and sounds, despite bass being punchier, so it is a win win. It is really good, especially when I try games like Battlefield 2042. I can really hear the shots, explosions and other sounds, that are just meaty.

    • @LeechTM
      @LeechTM  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      thanks for the long comment, i agree with most of what you said, except that sony dropped the ball. Its a different target audience their going for, in my opinion.

    • @Xanoxis
      @Xanoxis ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@LeechTM Maybe so. I was mostly listing frustrations of my SO that tested out XM3 and XM5 for themselves and use them, and lack of options is just annoying at best. Sony XM5 for example change ANC strength themselves, and they do it badly, causing sound distortions.
      There are many tiny things that Sony assumes they 'know best' and take away control from the user, while making it annoying, not useful. But that's just an opinion of a power user :)

    English below:
    Ich weiß, dass ich ein bisschen spät dran bin, aber vielleicht liest das ja jemand... ich benutze die Shure Aonic 3 seit 4 Jahren zum Musikhören und Spielen, und ich mag den Sound. Aber ich würde gerne weniger inear Kopfhörer verwenden und die Aonic 50 gen2 sahen ganz gut aus. Aber ich kenne mich null mit Kopfhörern aus und würde gerne wissen ob die Tonqualität vergleichbar ist, da ich den Klaren Sound der Aonic 3 echt mag und mich in der Hinsicht ungerne "Verschlechtern" würde.

But I would like to use less inear headphones and the Aonic 50 gen2 looked pretty good. But I know nothing about headphones and would like to know if the sound quality is comparable, because I really like the clear sound of the Aonic 3 and would not like to " downgrade" in that respect.
